If you have to wait till I do that to agree with me,you really have to wait a long time...maybe a life time.

case closed. smiley cool[/quote]Next time, have a point at least, before you attempt to prove a point. Especially when you have to be rude in your approach, know your onions. You will enjoy Nairaland better when you stop assuming that you are the only one with the right opinion, and every other nairalander is a fool. I learnt a long time ago that every member of this forum knows at least one thing better than I am. Even if i have to counter an opinion, i don't have to be rude about it, because I know that behind the million's of forum names you see here, are humans (who deserve to be respected).

Bye.

PhonesRe: Why Buying An Andriod Tablet Or An Ipad Is Just A Waste Of Money! by QMark: 5:46pm On Oct 02, 2014
naughtylagosguy: My meaning of it fits into that sentence. Can you please tell me the meaning? We learn everyday and no knowledge is wasted.
UMP means professionals moving or aspiring to move to a higher social class or to a position of increased status or power. For example, a young professional seeking or working hard to improve his social or economic standing.

It was used in your statement as though it means professionals that are mobile.

I stand to be corrected though, as I love to learn too. After all, I no be English lecturer for U.I. wink
PhonesRe: Why Buying An Andriod Tablet Or An Ipad Is Just A Waste Of Money! by QMark:
True. My Ipad is as useless as the penis of a catholic priest.

It's 2 years old. I haven't powered it up to 10 times. My laptop serves my table needs, while my phone serves my mobile needs.

naughtylagosguy: I think tablets and smart phones serves almos the same purpose except for making phone calls. If you are not an upwardly mobile professional who doesn't want to carry his/her laptop about, I don't see the reason why you need a tablet but sadly in Nigeria it is seen as a status symbol. You see a young guy with a Blackberry, an iPad and a Samsung Galaxy. Whatever rocks one's boat though.
I think you need to check the meaning of "upwardly mobile professional"
FamilyRe: Any Word Of Advice To Those Scared Of Getting Married? by QMark:
amaprincess: 1. how do you feel being married? do you feel chain/tied down by one person for the rest of your life, or how do you see it?
2. what are the things that happen in marriage that change everything forever. like sins that cant be forgiven. its common with men once a women cheats, its unforgivable. although i dont support cheating either.
3. what words of advice can you give a young man/lady who desire marriage but scared. based on what you are experiencing now either positive or negative. what can you tell someone who is afraid of entering into marriage, so he/she don't fail (divorce).
pls honest contributions pls
1. Marriage is the second best feeling to heaven (if you marry your friend) and hell (when you marry a stranger). Marry your friend. It gets to a time in life when it's no longer about the beauty, the six packs, the way s/he walks/smiles, how strong/romantic s/he is in bed e.t.c. It gets to a time when it's no longer how much you love him/her, but how much you want to be with him/her. How much of each other's company you enjoy. If you have to endure through a 3 straight hours of just sitting down and talking, then i doubt how much of your friend he/she is.

2. There is no such thing as 100% perfect marriage. They have lived happily together as husband and wife for 50 years does not mean it was all honey. Healthy communication opens up the room for forgiveness. ...and yes, I mean, no matter the sin.

3. Scared of what? Being imprisoned? Yes, I agree with you. Marriage is a prison. But my point in (1) above determines what kind of prison (fun or pain). Marry your friend.

In my grandpa's words, "Yes, I agree that it is most important you love each other, but love is not the glue that keeps you together forever, friendship is"

SO ARE YOU. cheesy
Son, admitting your lame opinion for me is not a big problem. Especially knowing that it is a way of making a fellow man's day. My last post did not in anyway fault your opinion, even when I have so many reasons to condemn it. My comment rather addressed ur approach. You don't have to attempt to correct an opinion with an insult.

On the case being discussed, I will only agree with u when u wake up tomorrow morning, walk into the US embassy with a bomb because you are an individual and you can evade (mind the right spelling) the camera, and all cameras fail to capture you, but only capture an aircraft and the collapse of the building.

I repeat, what's the need for CCTV cameras if all I can get is a video of my house collapsing, and how many airplanes fly above my roof per day.

how could you be this dumb?
How is it my fault that you are a member of the synagogue church?
Learn how to make a point from blowjohn's comment below. The difference between the two of you is that, one of you have brains, & the other brainless. Tell your 3-year old son to read the 2 comments and tell you the content of ur skull.

BTW, happy independence day.

blowjohn: D world trade centre bombing...did they see who planted explosives underneath d building? Infact how many times in history have u heard media confirmation that showed culprits who planted explosives caught on camera planting them? Planting explosives and the moment of explosion r two entirely different things. Any eyes weda human or computer can see an explosion, but catching som1 planting an explosion isn't as easy as u think.

I have never heard any such thing as "unlawful detention" when a common man is arrested and detained by the police. Rather, the detained whould have to pay to be released after the police confirm that he is not guilty.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Balotelli Racially Abused After Tweeting About Man United's Loss by QMark(op): 4:02pm On Sep 22, 2014
Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli was the
victim of racial abuse on Twitter yesterday following
his reaction to Manchester United's shock defeat to
Leicester.

Balotelli, part of the Reds side which lost 3-1 at West
Ham on Saturday, tweeted: "Man Utd...LOL" in
response to United's 5-3 loss at the King Power
Stadium.
Racist messages His tweet was met by a string of racist
messages, including one from an account called
@CraigSainsbury which read: "F*** you Mario you
f****** n*****. Got eat some bananas and get ebola
you dirty monkey."

The account from which the tweet was sent
subsequently appeared to have been closed. Balotelli
has been singled out for racist abuse in the past.
He was heckled by Italy supporters during a pre-
World Cup training camp in May and was on the
receiving end of numerous instances of racist abuse
during his time at Inter Milan and, more recently, AC
Milan.

Balotelli spoke about the abuse directed at him in an
interview with GQ magazine in July. "They aren't used
to seeing people who are different, not white, who act
not as rebels but normally," he said.

"I think what the ignorant people don't like is that
people who are different are allowed to act that way,"
he added.

The fear of Ebola is the begining of wisdom.

Soon, you must shower before u enter banking hall.

Nice initiative, but the scene in the picture is horrible. Especially when they have it right in front of their brand logo.
