I hope we computer users too can join the conversation |
Do we really need numbers first or a re-orientation of the current police? |
booblacain: They are smart but not wise. Two different things. Most Nigerians are smart but not wise.Taken. I completely agree. |
ugotuf: It was not our own map they painted red but Niger. This plague is not meant for us here. It will surely pass over us, in Jesus name.Amen. |
uboma: What do you mean by *maybe it was just a coincidence*If you see any negative intention in my statement, then i doubt your intelligence. Because everything in my statement reflects my respect for them. Please read again....this time as English and not pidgin. |
booblacain: And you call them 'wise'?Maybe there is a better word. Help me. |
Those who die at the boundary of Lagos & Oyo in an accident on Lagos/Ibadan express way will be buried right there. [s]But that's bad news for Ebony Undertakers sha o. [/s] Nice development, but one more step is required - A ban on washing of corpses. I hear that's the highest recorded mode of transmission. Why on earth would I want soap wasted to get my corpse washed when I am still going down to get dirty? |
Hmm. I didn't read the story but I like the sound of that money. At least that's enough motivation to go out this morning and work. [s] .....only that a N10b story won't make NL front page if it was worked for.[/s] |
It is not wrong. As long as she is "staying alone" with me |

Another reason to be a proud Nigerian. ![]() |

OtunbaJega: In a communique issued at the end of an emergency meeting in Calabar, signed by the chairman, Mumakai Unagha and secretary, Ekpo Ukong, the ex-youth leaders said “if he is so desired to contest, he will not receive our blessing.” Lol @ "Our Blessings". This must be Pope Ekpo Ukong IV talking. Wise youths. They are starting to work for their 2015 money/settlements early. |
Finally, Africans can enjoy a piece of American cake. |
Good news. At least good to know, for the first time, that we are not just concentrating on the international airports, while roads and footpaths are left open for all. |
Super good news. I can't wait for the number of infected persons in Nigeria to reduce to zero. At least CNN will remember that our colour is green and not the red they currently paint our map with. |
I am sure the Indians & Lebanese created 80% of this figure. With their 10k per month salary. |
Nice piece. kekakuz: borinYes, salary earners with no future plan to give a logo design brief will find this boring. You just failed to disappoint me. |
It was released for Niger bridge. I pray it is used for Niger bridge. ![]() |
Most left-handed females I have met are very intelligent. Maybe it was just coincidence. |
Our track & field victory days are gradually being restored. Keep it up. We need more than football to bring smiles on the faces of Nigerians. |
I am not a fan of Jonathan, but I find it funny when even the so called northern leaders see Boko Haram as Jonathan's sin. I thought Jonathan should be the one giving the northern leaders ultimatum as far as BH issue is concerned. |
They always raise our hopes at youth level. When money starts coming in, they forget all the skills they learnt at Agege Stadium and Onikan Stadium and start passing the ball backwards. I wish him all the best sha. |
Ok |
I only need one good news. Just one. When I find it, I will shut down my laptop, switch off my phone, TV & radio, and sleep in peace. Why is the world nowadays full of bad news? Obviously one of the reasons our forefathers lived longer. News to them was "how many antelopes made it into their traps" and "how well cocoa is doing in the local & international market" May God help us. |
Good move but not enough. We should remember that this is just one airline out of several others that enter this country from all West African countries on a daily basis. Well, it doesn't take anything away from the fact that we have started putting some preventive measures in place. Again, I just hope we are not focusing all our attention on air entries. If more that 50% of the cars on Nigerian roads made it in illegally, through the pores in our forests, then I am scared. Our customs are so used to staying on our streets & roads to ask us for custom papers for vehicles that they have collected bribes to allow in illegally. I have read in the news that we are making effort to check air travelers entering the country, but i haven't heard about an extra effort put to check the entries through non-road Cameroon and Niger Republic borders. Or maybe I missed it. |
And Obama is supposed to be Kenyan by origin. ![]() |

Whoopi Goldberg took Donald Trump to task on Monday for unfounded tweets he posted about the Ebola virus. Trump, who Whoopi referenced as a “friend”, posted several tweets last week announcing his opposition to Ebola victims being being treated in the U.S. Whoopi says he should’ve investigated before taking sides on the issue. “Do your homework, Donald. Just do your homework. … Before you say something that dumb– you know better than that. Come on,” she said. The problem is that Trump, a birther, has never been one to do his homework. He’d much rather just make outrageous comments as a way of garnering media attention. Trump was a member of the right wing fringe that accused President Obama of lying about his citizenship and in May of this year, Trump said he wasn’t ashamed of his birtherism. “I don’t think it was a distraction. A lot of people love me for it. I got him to produce his so-called birth certificate, or whatever it was,” Trump said. Trump also wants to see Obama’s college grades. “Look, I offered him five million dollars, as you remember, and then in the last moments I even increased it to 50 million. I didn’t want see his marks. I just wanted to see his records,” Trump added during the May speech. “And he would have been doing a great thing because that money would have gone to charity, it could have gone to Chicago youth, it could have gone to any charity that he picked. That was up to fifty million dollars to share some records from college and he chose not to do it.” http://www.thetrentonline.com/dumb-whoopi-goldberg-tells-donald-trump-ebola-tweets-4/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=dumb-whoopi-goldberg-tells-donald-trump-ebola-tweets-4
