If you had a cscs account before investing in sukuku it should be in your cscs account send a sale mandate to your stockbroker and once a buyer surface and there is a deal you get your money.
If you don't have a cscs account, click on the link on my signature to open one with investment one stockbrokers. It's free.

@Ositadima, I will take that as a compliment. I never attended a university, after my secondary school in Benin City, I had the opportunity to travel to Germany at a very young age, where I did my industrial training with Jungheinrich as a logistician for two years, and later went to Perugia Italy where I also did one year training with Concetti group. Afterwards, I also had other industrial trainings in the US where I gained more experiences in industrial logistics and production. I am grateful to God I never wasted four years or more for a university degree that is often overhyped.

How can you value what you don't have or haven't experienced. You probably did not learn about the Bell's curve and outliers. No insult intended, but don't come here and discourage the young ones from going on to higher institutions. Education is lifelong though and formal education is just the beginning.....

With 31m naira, I will get 1,937,500 units of Zenith bank @ #16/unit

Thanks for this.
The long term prospects seem encouraging.

emmanuelewumi:

Like any Investment in the capital market price fluctuates but on the long run it will appreciate as long as the business is growing.

For REIT on the long run income will increase, a REIT that gave an income of N4 million about 9 years ago gave an income of N7.3 million in 2020.

wink Thanks.
I really admire your conservative disposition.

Barrytone:

Oga boss, no rank me amongst the gurus, mbok. As at present, I do only tbills, hoping to do bond and learning it. Just tried my first calculations on secondary bond now and am not impressed after all. If you have a steady flow of income, don't risk your capital where you can't personally supervise, capital security should be placed ahead of interest at all points, just keep topping funds and you will get to a point low % won't hurt you.

I also prefer one of each as well.
I am used to TBills as a very busy professional but the low rate is forcing me to diversify my investment portfolio.

I am now pitching my tent with:
Sukuk Bond
Stanbic money market
Stanbic mutual funds
VGIF
Land speculation
Cash in Pounds

I want to move my Stanbic mutual fund investment to stock and with monthly top-up of 250k on only one stock (thinking REIT) for another 12 months. The other alternative is a bank stock (thinking Zenith).

I don't do jijo, rather for dividends and capital appreciation.

@ Sholapey, which one stock are you into?

@Emmanuelewumi
@Abioilandgas
@Barrytone

Your views please, to dive in or not?
What is your experience with REIT? Any risk of capital depreciation?

Sholapey:
I want to sell because I got fed up and I want to start with keeping one of each investments.

One property
Bond
Mmf
Ntb
Stock
One for all is my new year resolution.

Thank you.

This is why we love this thread.

Sukuk2 was at 15. 7 % while this round is at 11. 2 %. This may not keep up with the current inflation level, especially if naira continues to nose-dive as predicted on this forum.

Isn't FG shortchanging us? (I miss the days of TB @ 16%).

@ Gurus in the house, should I maintain my Pounds sterling position or do more of this. I have already liquidated my dollar reserve for this.
How long should one hold this Sukuk 3 to maintain value?

No hard feelings.
Just that am surprised we are not excluding the noble profession from petty "stealing ". I stand to be corrected sir, why would you say a doctor will connive with a wife to inflate a bill. This is beneath the profession.

My intention is not to argue with you.

I am interested in the details of Gani's WILL.
Is it a public document? Kindly share.
Thanks.

ukay2:

That is why WILL protects the dead and his desires for the living he left behind.

Especially if a good Trust is executing the WILL. Everybody will comply to the dead person wishes.

I now see WILL as a kind of insurance to protect ones investments after demise.

I learnt so much from Late Gani's WILL.

Please, leave DOCTORS out of this corrupt practice.
There is no reason why any doctor will connive with an unscrupulous wife for a token by inflating bills. sad

Why not build local production and manufacturing capacity. The government should commission a company or a department in one of our higher institutions to focus on this. The technology is not rocket science.

Our Ever Merciful God!!!

Shina Rambo who terrorized South West Nigeria and Benin once spent N50 million in a day, drove 40 stolen cars in a convoy from Lagos to Benin Republic unstopped. He killed the 9 herbalists who performed severe rituals for him to gain powers, so no one could know his secret.

Shina Rambo (then a Pastor) pounded 27 babies to death, killed over 100 people to eat their tongues and slept with his own mother for spiritual 'powers. '

He once hijacked over 42 cars in a day. He stole hundreds of cars and sometimes, gave many of them out as gifts.

Shina Rambo is believed to have once escaped a police chase from Ibadan to Lagos on reverse! He said his spiritual wife drove him around. He claimed to have lived in Iroko trees (he said looked like 5 star hotels), that he was buried alive for 7 days & had elders he submitted to.

"No matter how plenty the devil gives, he will take it all back. Regardless of how smart you are, you're going to lose at the end." - Shina Rambo says.

Shina Rambo spent 11 years in prison for the numerous crimes he committed. He was given an executive pardon for good behaviour.

Then, he was Evang. Matthew Oluwanifemi.

What a merciful God we serve!!!!?

Imagine, a nation of 200,000,000 people sharing 3000mw of electricity in 2019? Let that sink in for a minute.
