Why are you asking this kind of question as if people doing it already are not making it from the job? Just sit down there and be asking questions until another person go first you reach and drag the junction with you. |
How much is it |
Which IMF again? Is it the same IMF that led us to where we are now or another IMF? These organizations are not interested in any of our progress. They have been advising successive governments to remove subsidies and float the naira. Their advises were followed and it brought us to where we are today, the same IMF is coming out to say this again. Hypocrisy! |
Are Nigerians in diaspora not thinking of taking advantage of the situation in Nigeria to form or float a public company and invest massively in Nigeria? I am sure our people in diaspora have several billions of dollars if summed up. A lot of sectors they can invest in including agriculture, manufacturing, power and the likes. And the Federal government should give them enabling environment to thrive rather than going to seek foreign investors up and down. Let’s encourage our people in diaspora too and I think the Diaspora commission can help achieve this with this with government assurance. The kind support and assurance being given to foreign investors can also be given to Diaspora Investors. This will in turn help boost our economy greatly and create more jobs for Nigerians at home. |
Another lesson here is for some people thinking that a military take over is the option anywhere, it will only add to the suffering because a lot of sanctions will follow suit and the citizens will suffer it most. |
In many of the countries abroad, you cannot go to the banks or a Bureau de change and exchange foreign currency except you present your Identification or your Passport. Is it done the same way here in Nigeria? Why is the CBN not concerned about this by asking the banks and especially BDC to request a form of identification before the currency exchange? This shows we still have a long way to go as a nation. That’s why these few people are merely speculating and dictating the exchange rate without any economic factors. These few people are faceless because they cannot be traced to any legitimate business and the bank executives and staff are also the bigger thieves in this illegal transactions. |
Is it wrong to say that civil servants are the main enemy of this country at all levels? They are the ones that always encourage politicians to steal monies and always make it difficult for some of the implementation of various projects to fail at all levels. No matter how viable or robust a project is, they will find their ways around it and make it unsuccessful. So many files will not leave their tables unless there is settlement. They make it so difficult for contractors to deliver quality and lasting jobs. They make it so easy for politicians to steal money. They make it difficult for farmers to get adequate inputs to boost food production in the country. If there is any government empowerment, they corner it and give it to their families and friends. Some of them are somewhere now shouting hunger hunger, the hunger that they they use their hands to contribute to. Our nation can’t improve in as much as we still have unpatriotic civil servants in those offices. We mostly focus on the head of any government to put the blame but what of the so called civil servants that are always ready to make every efforts not successful. |

When I said this yesterday, some people didn’t believe it. Abure indeed failed integrity test while a question was put to him yesterday by the presenter on Arise TV https://www.nairaland.com/8001785/abure-failed-integrity-test-arise |
The national chairman of the Labor Party was found deflecting a direct question put to him by one of the presenters if he actually withdrew some money forging the signature of the dead national chairman to withdraw the tune of about #14,000,000 from January to March of the said year. This even made Dr Abati to express his disappointment in him and others |
The caption is not accurate, at 56 years age difference, she and your great great grandmother are mate. |
It’s so unfortunate that no one is seeing any sense from what this man is saying. Our current economic problem actually got worsened by these set of people in the banking industry and their cohorts. |

This OP must be a mischief maker. Why are you trying to speculate for further increment when you know the fact that it hasn’t reached #1500? This is how some people take advantage of information like this and hike the cost of exchange. At least, be patriotic for once! |
What is exactly your business here now? Why not try to mind your own business and face your own life. That’s why we are still lagging behind compared to other countries because we mind what doesn’t concern us. We should also blame the person that moved this to the front page because people reading this elsewhere around the world will think this is how we think here in our country. |
