There was a memo being circulated some times ago that GTB can now exchange FX same as the existing rate in the parallel market. How true was this? Has anyone converted money directly from his domiciliary account to naira account in recent time through GTB and given the current rate? Kindly tell us how you went about it. |
Because greed doesn’t come first either from the government officials or from the farmers themselves. |
At least, both of them were former chief executives of 2 states and chief security officers. |
In a surprising move, Kenya's President Ruto has reinstated fuel subsidies, signalling a major policy reversal. The decision aims to cushion consumers from the impact of soaring pump prices triggered by the recent arrival of a more economical fuel consignment, which had sent shockwaves through the oil market. The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (Epra) swiftly stepped in, keeping fuel prices steady in the latest review cycle by reintroducing subsidies. This move averted the looming possibility of pump prices crossing the Ksh200 ($1.39) threshold. https://africa.businessinsider.com/local/markets/kenya-president-ruto-reinstates-fuel-subsidies-amidst-soaring-pump-prices/kjezyf3 |

OlujobaSamuel:It’s so funny that a lot of people liked this your comment though very misleading. The broken Yellow line means you may pass if the broken line is on your side of the road and safe conditions exist, but you may not pass when a solid yellow line is on your side of the road. The section of the road is carved out for any type of vehicle to pull over not restricted to any type or law enforcement. The broken line simply means you can pass.

It’s always disheartening when you see a lot of headlines, posts, blogs without verifiable sources on social media these days including nairaland just to incite the public and generate reactions. It is always used to incite people and make them have negative feelings about some sections and pour in reactions that may eventually cause loss of lives and properties. What do people actually gain from being the source of destructions? |

This is the reason why it is said that those who study medicine in Nigeria virtually have it free of charge or next to nothing and yet they do not stay to give back to the country that gave them the free education and still complain. Nigeria shall be great again! |
Insincere CAN. Have they forgotten that this was also the wish of other presidential aspirants and various economists like Sanusi and co? |

Now that the truth is finally out by the independent panel set up to investigate the matter against the young lady Ms Mmesoma who falsified her Jamb result by the Anambra state government. What happens to those international scholarships awarded to her by some individuals in other to pacify her over her sanction from Jamb? Will they still be hell bent in promoting malpractice and corruption at this level thinking that she was tribally attacked? Will they not transfer the scholarships to the other lady from the same state who genuinely won the prestigious position? Will they follow the steps taken by Innosson Motors in withdrawing their support to falsified results and encourage hardwork amongst the young ones? Just asking |

It’s really pathetic that we decided not to make things work in this country. Even civil servants are worse |
Do you know that the federal government of Nigeria can reposition the national courier company and use it to generate thousands of jobs for the youths and generate a lot of billions of naira as it’s been done in many countries around the world. This is a multi million naira revenue generating agency and also great job opportunities for Nigerians. Rebranding or repositioning the national courier service will not in any way block the existing private courier companies considering the untapped potentials in our population. We should also imbibe the practice of sending letters/packages using the National courier company. Establishments, companies should also be using it to send official documents to their respective customers across the country as it’s been done in other countries. A lot of companies can even send through Nipost commercial magazines, journals to different homes. The young ones should also learn how to send letters to their friends and family members through the national courier instead of using texts and emails. If only we know how much income is being generated by the likes of UPS, DHL, FEDEX, USPS, etc in the courier industry. It’s time to make things work and create better job opportunities for Nigerians. |

ByRonald Adamolekun June 28, 2023 Reading Time: 3 mins read Nigerian energy stocks are right in the neighbourhood of their best quarter in nine years, enjoying a boost from the unusually strong investor sentiment that has come to shape trade after the new government announced a resolve to pursue several market-friendly reforms.
