Very true OP! yes freezing is not always the best option especially onions. Onions should be kept in a cool dry place after curing. well done o oga farmer! about the manure that withered your plants, it was because the dung was fresh and too pungent, also, the chemicals in the feed used could have been a problem. There are so many local and affordable solutions to the problem of post harvest losses especially for tomatoes and they can be used in both farms and households. For example, placing tomatoes inside a container of wood ash and covering tightly can preserve your tomatoes for more than three months.
