Dear Cocony abi Coconut,
On behalf of everyone here on the Super Eagles, I'm sorry we ever doubted you that this team would score 4 goals again Benin.
You've got my respect. 🫡 |

Who would have known that the foolish goal we conceded against Lesotho would come back to haunt us?
Scratch that. 4-0 |

3-0 SA vs Rwanda
See Rwanda bending over and giving South Africa back shots. To think we ever put confidence in these failures. 🤣🤣🤣 |

Can either one of Benin or Nigeria just sell the game? One of us has to qualify at least? 🥲 |

junnyjake: Rwanda sold this game. Honestly. Although my non-conspiracy brain tells me that the Benin loss destabilized them. Rwanda are usually much better than this. They're not world class, but even for today's game, they've been playing far below their standards. |

Omo I don use vex off the Rwanda vs SA stream. I'm almost tempted to say they were pleaded with to bottle the game, because somehow they look worse than Nigeria and Benin combined. |

We're going on a mission of vengeance in this year's AFCON against all these African teams. A fourth trophy is non-negotiable. We MUST win. I don't know how NFF, Chelle and these set of players want to do it, but they must not come back to Nigeria without a trophy. |

It's true that the South African attack may be slightly weaker, but that Makgopa guy can be really clinical though, on his best day.

I just went back to watch the game with Lesotho. See useless gameplay
Zero co-ordination. Nobody taking initiatives. Endless backpassing as usual. We were caught offside numerous times. I counted not less than 5 terrible, off-point passes from Lookman. There was even one where Arokadare saw free space in front of him, turned his back and played the ball out into throw-in. I literally bursted out laughing. 🤦🏾♀️😂😂
Mehn, as I watch finish, I no know wetin I wan talk again. May God be with the Super Eagles. |

You see all these foreign born African players? No wahala. We'll soon table their matter.

BankyGee: Is it just me or does any other person feel that those spamming of crosses from our wingers and fullbacks are not really necessary? We no fit pass ball from middle make striker just see ball for him leg? Must Osimhen always knack head for bar before we know say he score?
I watch Norway matches, omo, those guys dey pass fire - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ball don dey Haaland leg, keeper don dey rooted for ground. But here crosses upon crosses, and it's not like they're even accurate crosses. Just wastage of opportunities that'll give the opposing goalkeeper time to waste in the name of goal kicks. It's because our midfield is garbage. And for some reason we can't make back to back accurate passes before the ball ends up with the opponents. It's annoying because many teams should know our script by now >>> Run down the wings, hoof the ball up and pray to Jehovah. That's one thing I still enjoy about our U20 squad, even though they're somehow average too. Their defense is terrible (arguably worse than the main Eagles), and their attackers are not clinical. But you see that midfield, those boys dey try. They move the ball fast with interesting combinations. Put Osimhen in front of that U20 squad and we'll be scoring at least 2-3 goals per game. |

Emmy450: Sweden and Nigeria are different sides of the same coin,
Match against Zimbabwe we scored but celebration was cut short when the Zimbabweans equalized at the tail end through a defensive error. What makes this thing more painful is that at last AFCON, we easily had the most formidable defense, all thanks to JPes. How we went from that to this is just bewildering. |

jihday: nope, Tunisia is the most consistent at the World Cup from North Africa but I’m sure if they tell you to pick one of Tunisia Egypt and Algeria for Nigeria to play in an Afcon final I’m sure you’ll rather play Tunisia than the rest. Winning 3/3 Afcon isn’t beans, even back to back only peak Cameroon managed to pull it off Gbam, gbammer, gbammest. |
