maybe in nigeria where the all the girls are potential prostitutes the women are falling over themselves for men. Like I said earlier- the fashion industry you think is built to appease you, is ran by men who couldnt care less what you think. In other words, the thoughts and opinions of men (attracted to women) count for nothing in the fashion and beauty industry. Now you can continue to delude yourselves and draw up nonsense illogical conclusions from your arses. |
honeric01: But most women are potential pros.titues, aren't they? if not, why the competition with other women? they always want to be the best for the highest bidder (men). What a backwards assumption, with your logic I can say that all men are potential rapists because they compete with other men for girls. What a nonsense statement. about last women standing in the 21st century. I'm sorry to tell you men are no longer important in this world, it's every man and woman to him/herself! |
ah ah iru question oriburuku wo ni eleyi? |
honeric01: Coogar is the answer!ahhhhh lol, because i didnt write 'he must not be a d**khead' I will add that now! |
shymmex: The funniest thing is that health and social care degree is more tedious (the tasks involved) albeit easier to the brain than most science courses... They have to keep doing placements, and field work all through the duration of the course...o cmon! you don't need a degree for any of this nonsense! Destinations of graduates Here are some examples of the jobs that Health & Social Care graduates get shortly after they leave university. These examples are based on graduates who have replied to the annual collection of graduates' destinations conducted by UK universities. Full destinations of all University of Kent graduates (1999-PRESENT) can be found here Residential Care Worker - Ethelbert Homes Learning Support Assistant - Bexley Business Academy Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant Volunteer Co-ordinator - Sense Operating Dept. Practitioner - NHS Care Assistant - Nursing Home Trainee Medical Technical Officer - NHS Assistant Librarian - County Council Residential Social Worker - Local Authority Youth Worker - Local Authority Learning Support Worker - Special Needs School Classroom Assistant - Primary School Postgraduate Diploma in Gerontology Diploma in Social Work - Wolverhampton University Personal Adviser - Connexions http://www.kent.ac.uk/careers/healthsocialcare.htm Gerontology sounds good though, ageing. . . sexy. but why waste 3 years doing nonsense? There are sooo many academic courses to take where you will learn invaluable information you cant get from a placement or years of experience. That should be the whole point of going to university and not simply starting work from college (especially since you pay thousands of pounds for it!) |
shymmex: You need to understand that everyone can't be as intelligent as you want them to be - and people do what suit their temperament. And you are right, 'intelligence' is subjective and out means of assessing it are class defined. My african/scientific arrogance was shining through there but you are 100% correct. however oooo, i do not agree with this health and social care nonsense. I just refuse to. |
shymmex: You need to understand that everyone can't be as intelligent as you want them to be - and people do what suit their temperament.Actually accounting is non academic so it's on the same level with health and social care . |
honeric01: Yes, ask the aristos, ask Unilag Babes, SORRY MAU ABI NA MALU BABES, yes ask Abuja babes, yes ask Uniport and PH babes if they don't get paid painting their faces like a pig dressed for a circuit showthose are paid prostitutes, we are not talking about the sex trade we are talking about normal women. |
Tgirl4real: Sincerely, am still dumbfounded at the president's speech. Our president has indded lost focus with his cassava bread n local rice agenda. Funny, d prices of these comodity are on the increase daily. Could you believe a derica of beans being sold for N200?Derica? I've forgotten is that the long can? AH! when did it stop being 120 for the big bowl? lol I dont think im going back home if everything is going to cost an arm and a leg oooo, ah |
shymmex: Don't talk about things you don't know - just stick to your security job, and leading a fake life on NL...You can't blame him if he only knows the lowlife black people. Say wort? Health and social care does wort? Since when? where, what exactly do these health and social care people do I must know. Are they the social workers? The general consensus (soo far) is that courses which require lengthy examinations are best are measuring intelligence. Whether this is the real case is still under debate but for now ooo- as far as we can see health and social care is for nonsense people doing nonsense. |
Qualities I want in a husband, 1 he must have an ivyleague/russel group university postgraduate degree and professional qualifications 2 he must be a neatfreak and be obsessive over cleanliness, and a very good cook that enjoys cooking every day. 3 he must know how to dress well and look presentable at all times 4 he must not be a bigot, misogynist, homophobic, backwards or closed minded (not nigerian) ![]() 5 he must have the same moral, ethical, social etc standards as i do. 6 Definitely not religious, i don't need that at my tender age ![]() 7 he must be packing, as in quality and quantity (trojan standards) non negotiable, and be totally freaky. |
honeric01: They surely need confirmation from us or who else are you dressing to impress? yourself or your mates?Actually yes, i live to please me. and my friends too. Random men from nowhere? Are you going to pay me? Does money enter into my account if you like my make up? Does it? Do bentleys appear on my drive way? Do the bills begin to pay themselves? mshew. |
boluoyinbo: To know a pretty woman is to see her very early in the moring when she wakes up! Make up to me is an additional make over to make a woman beautifull but underneath it does not show the real beauty of the woman.......abi- when a man is ugly there is nothing he can do about it. He just has to carry his ugly face up and down. Can you imagine the torture it is being an ugly man. Especially if he now has acne- eurgh his face will be inducing vomit everywhere. People will not sit next to him on public transport! *shudder* |
Yes. We paid for my K-12 education through property taxes. It wasn't really "free." College for sure I (and my family) paid for. I still have some student loan debt, actually. I could have gone to my state school (university of maryland) on a full ride. But I'm happy with my choice. I think it opened up a lot of doors to me that wouldn't have been available to me otherwise..
Shame, I thought you was in the uk. Well in the UK, you don't have to pay for anything and are therefore given (more) of a chance at a better future. The welfare system is a huge benefit to many (including immigrants), people (especially children) should have the right to education no matter what their parents earn. |
I like how women are now coming to justify their choices of make up trying to prove themselves to men they do not know. i like it, it's very interesting to see. Very interesting claim to confidence you have there. |
Indeed. The 17 year old child and his family should pay for their education. Is it not that same child and his family who will benefit if he gets a high-paying job upon graduation?
How well does that work in Nigeria? Everybody needs to be given an equal chance, which is why the government used to subsidize degrees. Even immigrants have benefited from the social policies you now want to claim to hate. Did your sister pay for secondary school or college? Did you? |
Besides, even if you parents are uneducated and thus cannot provide you good advice about what to study in school, what about mentors at school? Or you doing your own research/investigation? My sister for example, she has been heavily researching which course of study she wants to do at her university in the fall. Which one will be good fit for her goal of going to med school. And she has done this research primarily by herself (though she presented her findings to me afterwards).
What mentors? If you ended up a college mentor how much can you know? mshew. What are you saying she researched and ended up with the desire to study medicine? How much research does that require? When the whole world does it? The whole world wants to go to med school, she will probably do a life sciences degree and if she doen't get into med she will be stuck with a useless degree (god help her do it in a crap uni) and be singing the same tune as the rest of the world now. Knee deep in debt with a degree not worth jack. What a creative decision indeed. See if you told me she researched on how to become an astronaut now, you will be talking. It's not that easy don't try and make it out to be. All these young children have no idea about job prospects and end up studying nonsense. There are soo many careers out there and paths to take, most don't even need degrees. But these uni's are soo bent on selling degrees they will sell absolutely anything to unsuspecting young kids. |
@queensmith: I'm not angry at the universities actually. After all, why should they be forced to pass up the chance to extract money from idjits who wants to study David Beckham studies, sociology, etc on the government dime? The main person to blame is the UK government, by not placing more of the financial burden on the 17 year old child. Do you think that if things were like the US, where the only assistance the FG will provide you is with Stafford loans, that people will be so keen on amassing huge debt to take a course David Beckham studies? No...they'll do the math and realize that such a course is not financially wise. The government is the culprit here, for encouraging bad behavior.
What are you saying? A 17 year old child should pay for his/her own education? Where have you seen that? The universities need to stop selling degrees as job prospects to children. It's unethical. These are CHILDREN! |
Onegai: I'll give you the advice I wished I gave my sister and my best friend. Why are women soo desperate in this day and age, this is a very sad story. Even having 'back up' isn't justifiable unless you agree to an open relationship. Men being just as insecure as these women will NEVER agree to that. People are ridiculous to subject themselves to nonsense. |
Reason why you should have listened to your inner voice, it's there for a reason. Are you abroad now? Because there are more than plenty of men who will not lie to you and treat you like rubbish. |
Do they then receive unemployment checks after studying David Beckham studies at some crappy university? Or some sort of government financial support?
Your anger is misdirected, universities shouldn't be offering useless courses to children. At the end of the day you are asking a 17 year old child to make a lifetime decision. For a middle class individual surrounded by an educated family this will be an easy decision. If you are poor your parents are uneducated, how are you going to know which course gets you the job and what doesn't? We are the product of our environments. As far as I'm concerned universities should be able to guarantee their courses (to citizens) because not only are these children wasting time they are wasting (taxpayers) money. |
Katsumoto: One of the universities offers an undergraduate program studying David Beckham.Beckology? Aye mi oo lol. And it's black people that will now study it, why they don't stay at home and do construction is beyond me. Dumbing down the science degrees, where did you see that? Well a student can only do the programme he/she is offered, it's not as if most of us have the options to go to Harvard and do what we like. Even Imperial offers unaccredited courses all down to the dumbing down degree situation. It leaves those studying these 'prestigious' courses jobless because our theoretical degrees hold no substance in the workforce. So you're damned if you do, damned if you dont. I just don't understand why Africans love them useless universities. Africans that are educated? Kilode! Some even pay extreme amounts of money for it? I swear the last time I checked the metropolitan charged more that LSE? |
wtf is media studies, lol. Even criminology and sociology are useless degrees, imo
Ah I said i'll allow it because it actually might be interesting, Not only do they do useless courses, they pack themselves in the bottom uni's. Now tell me why half of them won't be unemployed. |
When these black youths insist on going to brunel and kingston what do they expect, abeg. And to add salt to my wounds they study things like 'media studies' 'health and social care' I will even allow criminology and sociology. Then they want to get jobs, doing what exactly? These universities selling degrees are not even held accountable for selling nonsense to children. Look at the stats smh. |
