I don't think the monetization policy referenced, here, allows civil servants to make arbitrary decisions about their own entitlements.
Never mind what that thug of Governor did at the end of his term as the River state CoS, for me, this ex-commissioner's defence is faulty.

soo tru

i dont actually mind going to his house - but if you're inviting me there better be amazing food, candles, movies or video games.

if you invite me to your house to come and listen to your love making playlist you will never see me again . . . . unless its an awesome house (seriously where they at?)

I'd also agree - men that invite you to theirs on the first date are usually only looking for one thing. But in this world of dating, going out may be too tiring, you have to make efforts at restaurants, can't talk at the movies, i don't like playing pool or mini golf. Bars and clubs for first dates I feel slightly inappropriate environments. It gets a bit difficult, sometimes you wouldn't mind unwinding. . . . so long as it's not on his bed and he keeps his hands to himself . . . . .why not?

Femi Falana I feel may be too political for the leadership of such body, I love me some Fashola but will he really?? I don't think he will.

It will actually be difficult in Nigeria to find someone to head this, I think the leader may have to be foreign.

and they should definitely not use this to witch hunt, i want Babaginda stripped bare!! angry angry angry
PoliticsRe: Governor Wike Recovers State Car Stolen By Amaechi's Spokesperson (pictures) by queensmith: 1:07pm On Jun 19, 2015
Im not at all liking the fact that former workers keep their cars. The cars should be leased and returned following the termination of appointments.

This is all a waste of money why should they be keeping the cars? Nonsense.

Do not mind them. Very fake pictures. They went to an abandoned building in the compound and took pictures. Teachers training by Amaechi goes on there and the halls have computers and the rest.

Wike is a fraud.
I thought as much - they should have demolished the buildings was that not a part of the scope.

Maybe Wike is inspecting them for demolishing grin grin grin
PoliticsRe: Wike Sets Commission Of Inquiry To Probe Amaechi by queensmith: 12:37pm On Jun 19, 2015
Wike is worrying - he has done exactly what is expected, a thug does what a thug do

I'd like to see the reports when this 'commission' makes them

I also wonder how much this inquiry will cost.

Even people with high integrity (like me!) are not perfect. Do not confuse scepticism with realism! Also in my near 60 years I have had two careers and worked (still do) in over 20 countries so very little surprises me. Don't worry you will mellow and gain wisdom as experience grows!
An individual with integrity will hold an institution such as married sacred. Hence why it's clear those that don't have no integrity or respect for even their own decisions.

It'a nothing to do with old age. You don't need to be old or have a career to have integrity. You just have to have principles.

thank you! Blessed somebody be you! muah!

Senator Anyanwu lies are exposed here:

A person who commits an act which causes Defilement
penetration with a child is guilty of an offence called of children
defilement.

(2) A person who commits an offence of defilement with
a child aged eleven years or less shall upon conviction
be sentenced to imprisonment for life.

(3) A person who commits an offence of defilement with
a child between the age of twelve and fifteen years is
liable upon conviction to imprisonment for life.

(4) A person who commits an offence of defilement with a
child between the age of sixteen and eighteen years
old is liable upon conviction to imprisonment for life.

(5) It is a defence to a charge under the section ----------
(a) It is proved that such child, deceived the accused
person into believing that he or she was over the
age of eighteen years at the time of the alleged
commission of the offence; and
(b) the accused person reasonably believed that the
child was over the age of eighteen years.
(6) The belief referred to in sub-section (5) (b) is to be
determined having regard to all the circumstances,

i even think section 5 a and b is nonsense. Its up to you to ensure you're not sleeping with a child.

Yes but do not forget the VERY BIG DIFFERENCE between going looking for temptation and having it thrust in your face every day even n your own home where you cannot avoid it!
there is no difference. All is a matter of respect for your marriage. if you have none you'll step out maid or no maid.
RomanceRe: Nlers Which Race Is Preferable To Marry From?!? by queensmith: 12:00pm On Jun 16, 2015
icedbeatz:
1. is not every man that deserves such ladies (they're not super women, few reasonable ladies are like that and have been snatched by the luckiest men) & not every lady deserves good men. one has to posses similar qualities to want it but it turns out the good ones mostly end up with the bad ones which is so sad.
.
2. Tolerance is one of the most important things every marriage needs to survive, we are not perfect cos there must be issues, differences and anger and even momentary hate but what counts is how the partners sort it out and let love rule
.
3. It's difficult because most ladies have gone berserk, crazy, high on some feminist crap and have no regards for the real sense and purpose of marriage instead of marrying to love, care, protect and all THE good stuff they are mostly on some defensive and competitive shitt. A reasonable man have a very very low tendency of misbehaving & shouldn't dish crap to his lovely wife in anyway. You sound like an unreasonable feminist and it's not good but I ain't give a fk, so do you.
.
4. Yes! I described a wife as an asset, that's one of the problems in your brains that needs to be fixed, when a man marries a woman she automatically becomes his to protect, love, care, cherish, adore, provide, guide, lead, respect and many more positive things and he also becomes hers to reciprocate but most of you clueless feminists overlook these important things and got your heads twisted up in EQUALITY, is equality happiness? forgetting that when a reasonable man loves his wife he puts his wife ABOVE HIMSELF by choice, he puts his wife first in almost everything he does (not the punks that mistreat their good wives). Just so you know asset is something or someone of VALUE but your feminist mind ran straight to PROPERTY isn't it? sorry dear.
.
you ladies need some love really I feel so sorry for the feminists, instead getting a man who values, loves, cares and emits all THE good shitt y'all are out there looking for a man to drag rights and equality with. sooooo pathetic.
Mrschima
Personally I need a ride OR die chick cos I'm like that, all or nothing and I pray I get that soon.
1. A good man that is truly good wouldn't find it difficult to find a good woman. If it's bad enough you have to resort to picking out races you assume have all the good women youre not a good man. In fact a good man isn't looking for a woman to exploit.

2. Nobody is saying people shouldn't be tolerant. I'm saying women shouldn't tolerate nonsense husbands.

3. High on some feminist crap indeed, you've written a long epistle of nonsense and clearly don't deserve a good woman.

that is all i have for you you're clearly more interested in ranting over matters you don't understand and at the same time exhibiting shock over finding a good woman. I wish you luck in your pursuit of asian chicks. Women I know don't take nonsense at all.

absolute brilliant insight. Why am I not surprised?

i love how he mentioned the Biafran war - where were the generals then?

Buhari should absolutely take this advice, I'm sure he even knows. Travelling from A to B will not help as much as sitting all these dead weights in a hall in the guise of a party and handing them their dismissals. From there they can create a centralized human resource management system that documents each officer, their progression and ranking. One cannot fast track his children if the nepotism stands out in publicized reports.

I hope they keep these tell all articles coming.

Aminat508:
This long standing anomaly of men sleeping with house helps even in most times ending up the woman leaving her matrimonial for the maid....who gets blame?
does the wife takes a greater blame by leaving the house maid to run everything in the house...even attending to the man's needs

while she plays madam sitting doing nothing nd forgetting her wifely duties
is this a movie or a conclusion of dozens of real life experiences? Often hard to tell. . . .

You have already made the assumption the wife is doing nothing because she has a maid and the man stepped out.

Now without your assumptions the blame is easily passed to the owner - the one that betrayed his marriage vows, nobody else should share in it because nobody else is party to the marriage.
FamilyRe: Men Sleeping With Their House Maids...who's To Blame? by queensmith: 1:15pm On Jun 15, 2015

Any man that will damn consequences of his actions and proceed to sleep with their maid would certainly have shown prior signs during the course of their marriage.

She should have simply rejected the idea of employing a maid with big melons and/or massive batty
if i ever heard it. . . .how is one responsible for anothers lack of control? kmt that he doesnt find big melons in the house will stop him finding them outside? the wife can only be blamed for failing to do due diligence on her husband and find out he's a philandering low life.

And a lot of them walk around like they actually make sense, when discerning minds can see through them. You just have to call them out and shame them.

BTW, stay away from my big Uncle from the South Side of London Town...he's married. And we don't need another great Peckham mind turning into a deadbeat. grin

Although Senator Chris was respectful in an exemplary manner, she missed Wole Soyinka's point ENTIRELY.

First, no where in Soyinka's article was 11 years mentioned.

Secondly, Soyinka's point is that Senator Anyanwu's bill is essentially window dressing IF a prior bill, sponsored by Yerima, which defines any child that gets married as an adult, still stands.

Here's his full article:
she did it intentionally - her mistake was addressing Soyinka instead of the media outlets she suggests are 'spreading tales' if she's very unlucky. Soyinka will respond

PoliticsRe: Open Letter To Prof. Wole Soyinka On Sexual Bill. By Chris Anyanwu by queensmith: 12:12pm On Jun 15, 2015
[b]Ok so ive stubbornly abandoned the work I’m meant to be doing cheesy to try and figure this out.
It seems Chris Anyawu herself? has made the first error – Soyinka does not assume anywhere in his article that the Bill proposes it be legal to defile 11 year olds. Soyinka doesn’t actually mention age at all, his statements seem to be focused more on ‘children’ the age is coming directly from the articles and are not a part of his statements. (when will Nigerians be able to tell the difference) this is like the Buhari tv interview all over again!
Again Chris stated that he alluded the bill redefined adult status, apparently this has already been done by the Nigerian constitution, all Soyinka stated is that the bill re-enforces this absurd law and gives protection to abusers. If the bill is passed in current form, coupled with what is already within the constitution he will be correct. She is fully aware that he references a different piece of legislation and seems to be intentionally using this to commit folly.
Fear of Senator Yerima is the beginning of wisdom and I find it quite shocking this person has gone on to defend his intentions. Ridiculous. The rest is nonsense and dribble.
It’s also worthwhile to note that Soyinka himself admitted he is no expert in the subject (though I’m more than sure he probably is, since his mastery of the English language is unrivalled, you’re much welcome Oxford University) he duly invited experts to weigh in on his opinion. It sounds like Falana heeded the call since he was quick to whip them into shape (gotta love this guy!)
