graduating with m.sc in the uk at the age of 22 is standard...unless you
didn't start your b.sc at 17/18(and that's quite abnormal).

Nigerians are so keen on acquiring degrees, that they forget that this knowledge came from other humans like them. It has been proven repeatedly that you do not need a degree to succeed in Life.

Plus, is it 100% pass mark or will 99.99999% do? I didn’t go to a Russell group university, but one of the ‘others’. However, I have successfully competed with graduates from such and beaten their sorry behinds in the process. Are you saying despite all this, I do not qualify?

It's just from my experience that people who come from good universities are different. Less likely to be backwards or have all the traits I simply cannot stand.

The experience isn't purely about academics, they are less likely to to have the 'herd' mentality less likely to be bigoted and more likely to be open minded individuals with (what I consider) more important outlooks on life.

So my preference is based on this; I believe if I've worked hard to achieve the best out of life my husband has to be the same, otherwise he'd hold me back. Thats just the way it is.

Your educational background is part of what shapes you up to who you are, as an educated man you cannot have fulfillment from a dullard, you need someone that will appreciate your experiences and understand things from your point of you. Many tenants bought their homes at 40% of market value. People were able to buy homes at 20k pounds and sell them at 5 times that price. Many of those that bought homes in Brixton, Croydon, etc made huge profits when the housing market boomed in the mid-90s.


You say the government sold those homes because it wanted to make savings on maintenance. How can that be when not everyone bought their homes. That meant the government was still responsible for maintaining the properties.

Secondly, the savings in one area will always be used towards other areas. Where do some of you guys think the govt gets the funds to fund its budget? Where are the resources in the UK to fund the budget year after year? Some of you slag the financial sector but the financial sector is about the main thing that puts the UK on the map.

Do you know the council don't even own most of the homes they rent and sell? Most of them are private and rented/purchased by the council. When they sell the home at 40% the market value who do you think is swallowing the loss?
The council also rent luxury homes, do you know how much those cost? Lets not even go there, the government are going to great lengths to provide suitable accomodation for all. London is bloody expensive and without council flats most will be living like rats (like lagos ).

And you are right, many people that can never dream of owning homes become houseowners just because of this, and have the opportunity to be on the property ladder.
