Whatever good intentions Buhari & CBN had for the policy, have been rubbished by poor implementation.

Nowhere in the world are citizens & businesses starved of cash. Many SMEs have crumbled & Nigerians subjected to severe hardship.

We can definitely not continue like this. It's either enough new notes are issued, or CBN complies with SC ruling to revert to the old notes.

Anyway, its kinda funny how people choose to blame Emefiele the servant & leave Buhari the President & Commander in Chief.

Lol! For now, you must follow CBN procedure to return old notes, by 1st filling out a form in their website.

It wasn't a cashless policy. Infact no country in the world operates a cashless policy where citizens & businesses are starved of cash.
The policy was targeted at neutralising cash stockpiled by Polithiefcians & Bandits/Kidnappers etc, & to reduce excess liquidity in circulation.

Same Festus that vowed INEC would immediately transmit election results from Polling Units.

This lack of cash has crumbled many small businesses & suffered Nigerians.

It's either CBN supplies enough new notes or they comply with SC & revert back to the old notes.

Saw that video where Sheriff, the PDP Governorship candidate was fruitlessly trying very hard to identify with Obidients.

Was at Access Bank last Tuesday where I gladly collected 20k old 500naira notes thinking that CBN had complied with SC ruling.
Was later pissed off when I realised the money was being rejected. Was even more pissed when same Access bank rejected the money.

Though the policy wasn't a bad one, but CBN failed woefully to print enough notes & strictly monitor the distribution.
Effect is that so many small businesses have crumbled & Nigerians are being subjected to untold hardship for lack of cash.

Doubt if Nigerians can continue like this for long. It's either CBN issues enough notes or they revert back to the old notes.
