adekolaelect:Nothing wrong with the policy. It had plenty of benefits. The main problem was the implementation. CBN failed to print enough new notes & strictly monitor the distribution. |

The election was clearly a sham. Uploading the results from the polling units immediately after voting was very critical to having a credible & transparent election. Even INEC vowed to adhere to this but they mischievously failed to do so. 32 Likes 1 Share

It will only be considered an Act of God if the mandate was justly gotten without rigging & reflects the wish of majority of Nigerians. Meantime, any of these can still be ruled by Supreme Court: 1. Entire election cancelled & fresh one ordered 2. Tinubu declared rightful winner 3. Atiku declared rightful winner 4. Obi declared rightful winner 5. Transmitting election results immediately after elections from the polling units will improve transparency & credibility. But we must aim at adapting BVAS to capture thumbprints for electronic voting. Anything manual collation of results, exposes the process to manipulation of figures. 72 Likes 11 Shares |
