excelsiorfarm: for those in d plantain biz i.e d people that grows it,let me give u an added idea u can consider i.e mixed cropping(instead of waiting for 10months or so to harvest your plantain i.e depending on species,u can maximize your land by planting either egusi or water melon with your plantain, this will enhance d revenue u get & also make u get income while other plantain markets are waiting because within 3months you will have gotten some income.i guess u know d economic importance of either of d plants mention,h
@ excelsiorfarm, thank you for your great ideas. However, I know there is value in egusi but is there any economic value for water melon?
Also don't you think that the large plantain leaves will not allow sunlight to get to the egusi or vegetable?

FamilyRe: 2 Kids Found Dead In A Car by question(m): 1:32pm On Jan 21, 2013
elampiro: Am I missing something from the story or I just didn't understand it? I have slept inside my car twice overnight, and completely wound up. I didn't put on the AC, I slept and I woke up very strong.
Though they did not mention the kind of car it is....vehicles are not so airtight that someone would suffocate in it after several hours.

Meanwhile, if the same car was submerged in water, they will say the kids drowned.

PropertiesRe: These Properties Are Available For Sale In Enugu by question(m): 7:56am On Jan 20, 2013
spyder880: The road back into Enugu main city. I have lands for sale sitting directly on the side of this major road, facing the road. The site is something else, very close to a new housing estate under construction.
Price is N2.5m
Oga Spyder, Good job. Keep it up.
The only issue I have with Enugu land is the depth of water-table (borehole water source). I mean some lands are on top of hills.
PropertiesRe: Fence Building Section by question(m): 7:17am On Jan 20, 2013
spyder880: ^^^^ 6" hollow blocks sell for N85 today in Enugu. I got delivery of 1600 blocks of 6" hollow on this site and am just paying the supplier here on site. If you are in Enugu, just holla and we can give you up to 50,000 pcs of 6" hollow tomorrow morning, anywhere in Enugu urban.
The 6" hollow is cheaper because of the low price of trip of sand in Enugu.

FamilyRe: Should He Fight For Custody Of His Kids?? by question(m): 8:25am On Jan 14, 2013
chaircover: Ive just googled it.

It costs £200 to make an application to the family court for contact with the children. The court will notify both parties and set a date for hearing and judgment is made.
All these over-civilized countries are in deep-Sh1t.

Imagine paying N50K to the government to see/contact your own children!?!
Car TalkRe: How To Avoid Tima Riv In Port-harcourt by question(m): 2:11pm On Jan 13, 2013
chucksbadt: I just started driving recently in port harcourt, and i am not too familiar with the routes, yesterday *unfortunately* i was caught by tima riv for *allegedly* using one way. I was really furious because there was no traffic sign to show which way i should turn. To cut the long story short, i eventually had to pay N5000 before they could release me.
I want to know if there is a shortcut or a means to know how to avoid tima riv?
10 HELPFUL TIPS.
1. Do not answer call/send text while driving.(use hands-free).
2. Do not park along the road. Make sure you climb the curb (with all 4 tires off the road) if you you must park.
3. Do not drop or carry passenger on a no-stopping area.
4. Do not drive against traffic (or one-way).
5. Watch and obey the traffic controller.
6. Maintain the correct lane when exiting a major road.
7. Make U-turn only in designated places.
8. Wear your seat belts.
9. Know and understand the roads (long and short cuts).
10. Finally, drive safe (defensively) there are lots of mad drivers and pedestrians out there.

Basic economic law of demand and supply.
If investors offer funds more than the government needs, the T-bills rate will start falling.
If the government needs funds more than investors can offer, the T-bills rate will start rising.
