Did you know that President Muhammadu Buhari in 2016 directed the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria and the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) to synergise their skills and capabilities to build 30,000 housing units in Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt and Kano?

This National Housing Program is part of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Family Homes Funds (FHF), a N1 trillion Federal Initiative, established in 2016 to deliver housing for low-income and middle-income Nigerians.
The Initiative has completed 582 houses in Nasarawa State.

Under President Buhari’s Family Homes Fund initiative, 757 houses are currently being built in Kano, 4,000 houses ongoing in Kaduna, Ogun and Delta States.

This project has created more than 2 million jobs for unemployed Nigerians.‬

This woman is one of the beneficiaries of Conditional Transfer of N5k. Hers is one big success story in Okene Kogi State.

When the agents came to her at first she was living under the stick house you see in the 2nd picture. Her husband was laid on ground dying (apparently of no illness but hunger) and her five children she had distributed to people as helps.

When she received her 10k (they receive every two months), she hired hands to help her cultivate cassava. She also started doing apu for sale. From the sale of akpu, she is able to feed her family daily. From the harvest of cassava, and her daily contribution from akpu sales, she built this mud house where you see her husband.

She danced and sang and cracked jokes all the way as we were there. One of the agents that came to see her initially, couldn't recognise her, she looked much older when they came there at first he said. She laughed at his surprise at the transformation and said, 'na hunger o. Na hunger turn me to old woman'.
Thanks to compassionate government of PMB after seeing these with my eyes.

I’m ready for debate, says Olawepo-Hashim

ALLIANCE for New Nigeria (ANN) presidential candidate Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim said yesterday that he was ready for a presidential debate with President Muhammadu Buhari, ahead of next year’s election.

He said the President should participate in a live debate, where he will tender his stewardship.

Olawepo-Hashim told reporters in Lagos that Nigerians are warming up for the poll, adding that the exercise would determine the future progress and prosperity of the country.

He said: “I am ready for presidential debate with President Muhammadu Buhari and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. I won’t debate with the vice-president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN). My running mate, and not me, will debate with Osinbajo. I am a presidential candidate.”

The ANN/Alliance for Peoples Trust (APT) flagbearer, whose party is in alliance with other opposition parties, also said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate will bring Nigeria backward, if elected as president.

He urged voters to decide between candidates, who will retard progress and a flag bearer whose leadership will give birth to a new Nigeria.

Olawepo-Hashim said the outcome of the 2019 poll will shock many people, stressing that Nigerians are prepared to take their destiny in their hand.
