my opinion is, and not to offend anyone's religion.
I think this is another work of publicity seeking fraudster of a church or group in a church. I want to see live footage of the fish passing out of this woman with umbilical cord attached, placenta etc. Haba! grin why all these bogus claims every time?

oldie:
A man/woman who is hungry does not need brains
He/she needs food
And where is the food coming from?
From the crumbs and manipulations of the politicians
I say give me brains to be able to find store houses bursting with food, not crumbles from jaded politicans thank you very much. the sooner we stop settling for crumbs the sooner we quench the hunger in our bodies and spirit.

Jehovah! goodness is that them in the pic, they are hotttt!!!!! make person no go commit sin today sha!

@cuteandsexy
i would be totally honest with you, i thought the very same thing when i saw the vid, and i had to quickly tell myself not to think like that, i don't know what it is about us black women , we are quite possessive about ''our black men'' i guess its a natural thing or a societal thing, nurtured by the images we see around us.

@emad. i won't say she is being racist , that is too strong a word. i just think in a climate were we as a people are degraded so much , we loose abit of sensitivity to others. I just looked at it from the angle that, two naija boys making it big, great vid, automatically they should have naija girls in it. but then my logical side told me if they want to really hit it big the rules of the game demand they appeal to not just black girls, but white girls too, cos they are a pop duo afterall. So well done to Psquared , chei! two for the price of one what a treat. tongue

bawomol:
the ethnic groups always interacted by warfare or trade. countries such as Greece and italy were formed through warfare/diplomacy. deal with it. african countries are just struggling to find an identity after colonial rule.
hi there smiley
struggling to find their identity you say, but is there really a point anymore? who is the enemy now? the white man left ages ago , why can we live and let live and just move on. All that separates is languages, now that is nothing, why can't people just let things be. this struggle as you put it is proving to be a costly one and a huge embarrassment on us all as Africans. You think the past colonial muppets give two hoots if we are tutsis, hutus, Kikuyus, Ibos or Hausa? Like i said the struggle should have gone when the mupetts left Africa not . nation building should forge ahead. i dream to see a united state of Africa, now that will give the world something to be scared of, forget osama. Lets face one truth here if there is nothing to be gained the internation community will not intervene, go ask Rowandans
RomanceRe: Not On Speaking Terms: How Long? by quinofhart(f): 10:38pm On Jan 07, 2008
first post
I realized that some couples can afford to stay without talking to one another for days after a quarrel, while others cannot, even for hours.
How long can you stay without talking to your spouse after a quarrel?.
Also, I noticed that men will rather (out of ego) want their spouse to be the first to break the ice
well i could hold a grudge when i was alot younger, but these days i can't be bothered unless it really is very serious.
With my husband it never last, i forget almost immediately after a row and it's business as usual. there was on time he upset me, over what i can not remember to save my life. Any how i was upset and was doing my not talking to you body language , and forgetting i said something to him and he was on the floor laughing his ass off, i was looking in amazement at what seemed to be his temporary insanity, as soon as it dawned on me that i had initially said i wasn't talking to him i walked off hissing and saying ''oh i am still not talking to you'' and he just cackled even louder smiley

PoliticsRe: African History Repeats Itself by quinofhart(f): 9:44pm On Jan 07, 2008
you know what? many will quickly say its the fault of  draft men, who brought tribes together willy nilly, or should i say the British who in their colonization of most of Africa carelessly brought ethnic groups who lived separately together. Well yes it was a recipe for disaster, but. now a big  BUT. why can't we see that we only do our continent more harm by trying to fracture these states through ethnic cleansing? when for so long we have lived together? thesame was the case during the Biafran war. Why can't we use our God given brains to see that though our colonial Muppet's cocked up big time, we can carry on and build on that cock up and make healthy nations.why can't we see beyond bungling politicans who come with their greed filled propaganda to cause disenfranchisement?  why can't we see?
The Kenyans have fallen prey to a combination of propaganda and past cockup. Nigeria will follow suit , its a matter of WHEN!
PoliticsRe: Who Is Responsible For Nigeria`s Woes, Our Leaders Or The System? by quinofhart(f): 9:34pm On Jan 07, 2008

PoliticsRe: What Do You Love About Nigeria? by quinofhart(f): 9:26pm On Jan 07, 2008
what do i love about Nigeria?
Good question, if i had seen this topic a day ago i would have listed a whole lot of things.
Last nite i was on you tube and came across various vids by Nigerians , or are they? any way they called themselves Biafrans. Now i am no expert on the topic but they went on about hating the state that is Nigeria and wanting to be cut off and be recognised as a state in its own rights. Now i don't know how else to explain this but to use the analogy of when a child having known two parents all its life , loved them , identified with them , then  one day be told that they are not really his parents. that is how i feel right now, i feel like an illegitimate child and am now left utterly sad, shocked and confused about ''NIGERIA''  , why are we hell bent on self destruction in Africa, just look at Kenya now.

So what do i love about Nigeria?
@ poster quite frankly i don't know anymore cry cry cry

ps.
i used to love the blissful ignorance of a state of unity

FamilyRe: Divorce On The Rise In Nigeria: Why? by quinofhart(f): 9:10pm On Jan 07, 2008
Souljagirl:
@quionheart. well said. as a naija woman, i too have been faced with so much pressure from not just my immediate family, but also friends and people that shouldn't even have the guts to be saying rubbish to me at all. they're not happy with the fact that i'm single, as if it is such a bad thing. na so so "u're not getting any younger you know" or "see what has happened to you after shunning all those guys that were asking you out before" or downright "go and get married!" as if i'm a goat without a brain.

i don't know how people even think in our society, being mrs is so impt to people that they will go to any length to snag a man, even if he's as useless as a rag and has 4 wives already. it pains me that some women just see themselves as something to be owned by someone else. i've seen so many naija marriages where the man does as he likes, and the woman has no power or no say to make him change his ways. some of them will be chasing small small girls shamelessly and the wife is expected to suck it in, as if she has no choice. i say kick his ass to the curb! why let one yeye son of adam disrespect you all over the place. is that supposed to be a partnership?

me i'm sha afraid of the fact that i will have to "possibly" spend the rest of my precious life with one man. chei! make God sha give me will power. LOL.
@souljagirl
love that nickname of yours by the way. Yep i am glad you feel me oh, pls husband and wife business is no joke at all, i went out with my husband for 7 years before i finally agreed to marry, and even in those 7yrs sef, it takes a long time for a boy to grow to a man(if you know what i mean wink) yeah its no picnic at all! when you think of it really , we are talking two human beings , very different coming together as one, it is scarry stuff cheesy

FamilyRe: Divorce On The Rise In Nigeria: Why? by quinofhart(f): 5:50pm On Dec 31, 2007
well well well i read the first post on this topic and laughed, we blame everything on oyinbo so why can't some blame oyinbo for the alleged rise in divorces in Nigeria? lol

This is how i see it. if people are now getting divorced left right and centre they are finally waking up to the realization that they are in DEAD MARRIAGES. so many people marry for the hell of it in Naija, oh i want to be a Mrs! i need to spread my seed! my father needs to see grand children! and my favourite my friends are all married! hahahahaha!
when i was 23 all my friends were married(well my closest friends) 3 are separated now. 1 went AWOL after her divorce for shame.they used to say'' ah when are you marrying'' i said as soon as i find the right man, nothing scares me more than making a mistake with a life partner.

In Nigeria it is a joke that parents seem to be competing on who's child would wed next or who has the best, biggest wedding. Another thing i see brides with bumps as big as anything wearing white and taking vows in front of a priest , that shit kills me lol. there is no guarantee in life but at least make sure the odds are not against you for fecksake. Again if divorce is on the rise it is because all those show weddings are now crumbling before our very eyes wink
FamilyRe: Why Would Your Parents Disown You? by quinofhart(f): 5:35pm On Dec 31, 2007
@humanist

well i share your sentiments. I didn't have to search long and hard for a reason to disown my father. I made a decision (very personal and valid reason) to disown him. Well this came after years of me being on th3e receiving end of his disloyalty , he actually disowned me 12yrs ago i forgave him and then i realised he was not going to change and the relationship would always be on his terms, which unfortunately for him came at the wrong time in my life, cause at the time i was very independent, stable,emotionally strong and saw no reason to 'put up with crap. So i disowned him and its been 3yrs and i do not hurt or worry or think i have done the wrong thing. I am happier for it. smiley

People need to remember that the family structure is not what its carved out to be in most situations,while some will say they are your parents! you have no other! they bore you! blah blah. So what?not every parent is meant to be a parent, they can contribute to the biology of things but emotions are a different thing, we are all individuals. Life has taught me Blood is not thicker than water.

lmao listen i laughed so much reading your post, i was thinking thesame thing, that man must have balls of steel not ot jump on the girl. na wa poor man. Anyway i feel you sha. lol

As for kim , no hating from me at all, i think she is hot but like all hot girls as sexed up as she seems to be, she will be used up and dropped down soon by the media . She is not the first and won't be the last. lets just hope she does not become a ''hotmess''
