kokoA: Indigenous company, local crops, our government, our children. That's cool! The entire capital stays within. NASCO is not indigenous, its owned by Egyptian and Labanese. NASCO since inception has repatriated Profit back to their Home Countries. 80% of its raw materials ( Corn mill , Flour and chemicals ) are Imported. NB: I have worked with Nasco as an Independent Consultant. |

If this ATM ban happened during GEJ, the posters would have Read " Good luck is BadLuck" "GEJ is Evil".
But now that is happening under PMB they are Blaming CBN Governor and not the president.

If GEJ were President, the Shiites won't have been Accusing the Army; They would have been Chanting "Death to Good luck Johnathan".
PMB is in Power and they are not mentioning his Name. Hmmmmm Nigeria.
NB: LAST YEAR WHEN THE ARMY KILLS HIS 3 SONS , SHIITES, EL-RUFAI ETC DID NOT ACCUSE THE ARMY , THEY SAID IT WAS GEJ |

When ignorant people go into an intelligent discussion that is above their comprehension they begin to insult and use swearing words. I Understand your predicament. Endure you read hard and educate yourself the next time ur parents give you the opportunity. omohayek: And I'm supposed to be taking lessons from a semi-literate like you?
I actually brought statistics and references to the table: where are yours, oh wise one?
If you weren't an idiot, you could easily have done this very thing, using the links I already provided. Again, where are your links? Where are your numbers?
Your last sentence shows you up for exactly what you are: a foul-mouthed semi-literate with a total ignorance of economics and finance, who can think of no better way to rebut anything that counters his uninformed opinions than by throwing insults. I'll respond to you in language you can understand: go f*ck yourself, you worthless waste of seminal fluid. omohayek: There is no sane monetary policy on earth that could have defended the value of the Naira in the face of an oil price crash from $110 per barrel to $36. The only way to keep the old value without creating a black market like we have now would have been for the CBN to jack up interest rates to levels that would have destroyed every business with a loan in the country. The fact is that Nigeria is earning a lot less foreign income, and the purchasing power of the Naira must reflect that. Naira has depreciated by over 70% since the fall of Crude oil. Saudia Arabia, Russia, Venezuela etc have not witnessed upto 5% depreciation of their currency since the drop of crude. What is your Point? |

Politics › Re: NLC Rejects Electricity Tariff Hike by QuiverBox(f): 9:06am On Dec 24, 2015 |
2n2k: Government is the one putting itself in trouble with this so-called labour union. If govt claimed that the electricity companies have been privatized, why is it involved in announcing the increase in tariffs? They are private companies, they should be left to handle their pricing subject to regulations.
The prices of electric cables and fittings that I buy from 'OkeyGod International' were jerked up by 30% last week just because he heard that dollar exchange rate has gone up to N280. Nobody will shout about that but if it had been govt that did that, we would be out on the streets. Traders jerk up prices anyhow during festivities with no whimper from anyone.
With low naira value, there is no way the power sector is going to survive on the old tariffs. Simple. If the Government had solid monetary policy the Dollar won't have gone up to N280 and ' OkeyGod International' won't have jerked up his price |

Hypocrisy is when Nigerians: - Hailed Democracy when South Sudan Gained Independence -Stayed glued to Foreign Media to hear the outcome of Scotland Referendum to cede from UK -Support Palestine to be recognized as a State -See Nothing wrong in Catolonia requesting Independence from Spain Then Back here in Nigeria they say no to Biafra. |
