I hate this to elevate or to boost or achieve. Do it let us see it done and stop giving us false promise like APC. Nigerians are wise now through APC promise and deny game
This is a 100% privately driven initiative - funded and led by Dangote himself.

Nothing to do with APC - except for the Forex support given by the Buhari led government due to its commitment to stop petroleum importation and boost power generation.

Take note.

Participants at the international Conference as well as oil distributors and marketers from various countries were eager to know how they could key in for supplies from the 650,000 barrel per day refinery, that is preparing to take the continent by storm.

President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, who was represented by Vice-President Alhaji Mahamud Bawumia, said African nations are anxiously waiting for Dangote Refinery.
The whole of Africa eagerly awaits Aliko Dangote.

Nigeria is gradually regaining its position in the comity of African nations as the true GIANT of Africa.

mind you, I'm not 5%.
And how many months are left in APC's present tenure? You're calling the other guy Olodo when you've not thought through your own post.

So in short you're saying Innoson believes that APC will surely win the 2019 elections hence he is positioning his business to make more money?

Abi does it make sense to invest in APC if Innoson believes Buhari will lose few months from now? Will he be throwing cars at APC if he is a neutral businessman that believes PDP can win (and destroy his business if they do)?

You look at the Hausa and call him ewu, not knowing that he is laughing at the fact that the Igbo man is the most gullible in Nigeria.
As far as he is concerned if he can please the Yotubas and they vote him, the Igbos are useless to him.

Not your post, but the post you replied to asking what PMB would do to 'convince' the SE based on what he did for the SW with the June 12/GCFR declaration.

You then mentioned some ambitious things you thought he might offer the SE to 'convince' them..

1 IGBO PRESIDENCY?

Buhari is just desperate to win next election. Pls what is the usefulness given GFCR or GGGFF or GGF9 to dead man pls to what usefulnesshuh

So Buhari think given holiday or GGFF to Gani or Abiola will now make the SW vote for himhuh Oh lord who are the advisers of Buharihuh Why is it that fulani and Hausa are so silly in reasoning for God sakehuh

So now because those useless title the entire Yoruba will troop out to vote for you isn'thuh Well let me not talk because I hate go tribal on issue that makes no sense but it would a big shame if Yoruba because of these silly title troop out to vote for Buhari again. This was how they allowed Tinubu to hijacked their region and he became the lord to be worship in SW except Ekiti and Ondo state but now Ekiti has decided to join Tinubu slaves as well it's a shame.

Buhari if you like go to Abiola tomb or Gani tomb and be sleeping their this is Nigeria not America if you died you died everything attached to you is dead and are no longer relevant it will all become once upon a time so this trick won't work and I learnt few dead body names from igboland and SS has be compiled as well for same useless title.
When GEJ needed your votes before discovering they're worthless, he buried Ojukwu in Nigerian colours, in a state burial with full national honours - that's a reformed rebel - not to talk of a champion of democracy like the great MKO.

And NOPE no eastern names are being compiled for "any useless title" - your 5% votes are inconsequential and politically irrelevant so no need.

The so called "Hausa and Fulani political reasoning" still manages to deliver destabilising uppercuts to embittered IPOBs that have been wailing overnight so no wahala cheesy

Hnmm Hajiya be careful fa, no one here can claim to love you more than your parents.
As I understand your parents may be conservative northern Muslims who sincerely believe a good marriage is the best thing that could ever happen to a daughter. From your narrative they aren't trying to marry you off to one old man nor a guy you never know or liked like that...
With the way you look (beautiful) and sound (educated, wise and smart) I am sure you have many suitors already. Choose one and make him (and your parents) give you the grace of at least reaching final year in your study or closest negotiation. Your mum shall be on your side mediating between you and your dad. This rebellious path you are trying to follow isn't gonna lead you anywhere good.
Also marriage never mean end of your studies, in fact it could be an excellent catalyst to make you more focused, comfortable and blessed.
Don't you have sisters? Grandparents? Your parents friends and siblings whom they respect and listen to, so they can at least persuade them to give you some grace to graduate?
By bringing this your case to nl don't you know the type of people who make up majority of the commentators here? If you don't know they are about 80% southerners (who do not know/understand your cultural background) more than 70% non-Muslims who consider marriage as a future event they may choose to do or not. With or without it they can sleep with as many men/women they like and have as many kids as they like.
I am not saying you shall agree and marry whomever your parents decide, No even prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was clearly against that.
So my advice go and beg your parents for forgiveness. Tell them you never to disobey or make them unhappy, that with the way they raised you it's your dream to someday get married, but they shall give you two or three years grace to go a bit further in your study. Mention stuff like you are worried you wouldn't be able to take care of your babies as you would like if you are still a student. If they are still adamant include other family members I mentioned earlier. If still they wouldn't bulge chose the best among your suitors and settle down. Pray it's for the best. Trust me Allah will see you through in the most spectacular way.
Karatun Boko is grossly overrated nowadays. You may even graduate and find out the degree isn't even worth it!

I have two sisters both are graduates the eldest has always wanted to get married while she was in school, now she has a degree she is not using and still not married.
I pray you find happiness in your life and get to reconcile with your parents as soon as possible.

Whenever that question is asked, of course I am one of those that ask the question, it does not mean that out of the population of Nigeria that buhari is the only one qualified. In fact, he might be among the least qualified when you take away the issue of integrity, focus and mental toughness among all the required qualities for a person at that level. Having said that, I will therefore inform you that among those jostling for the seat, Atiku, Lamido, makarafi, dakwambo, Fayose, morghalu, sowore etc. Apart from morghalu who has not been tested, though he has a mouth watering CV at his disposal, there is nothing spectacular about others. And because the project of choosing Nigerian president is a very serious one, it therefore means that the likes of Fayose are not even under consideration.

Atiku may have the rhetorics passing a message that goes to the sensibility of many Nigerians, like the message of restructuring he has been saying very loud. But Nigerians don't trust him. Like he has been talking about giving the youths chance. But, at about 70 years of age, he is still contesting. Is he a youth at that age? Morghalu on paper looks like what we need, but that office demands much more than that. Besides, he is in a minority party. Nigerians have always voted majority party. Even the writer of this article just like many other Nigerians will not remember any other person during the coming election except the candidates of APC and PDP. This common attitude of Nigerians will also rub us off Morghalu and other seemingly good candidates who will come from other minority party, just as it has happened in the past.

The likes of Lamido, sowore, dakwambo etc are mere pretenders. They don't have the national appeal to meet the popularity of buhari. So In all, among those that have shown interest, its either they are not better candidates or they don't have what it takes to win against buhari.

Actually by running around in circles without a clear, explicit answer to the question you posed, your thread has only unwittingly proven clearly that the question "Vote out Buhari and vote in who?" is a very valid question that is giving the opposition sleepless nights because of the reality that Buhari still presently clearly has no capable opponent that can tackle him in 2019, few months to the polls.

I leave you with an illuminating submission by a brilliant contributor.

I have seen a lot of people make this statement "vote Buhari out and vote who in?" and I wonder over their senselessness and lack of love for this country.

One of the implications of this statement is that Buhari is the ONLY one who can rule Nigeria well. Well, I think it is stupid to assume that it is only Buhari that can rule this country well when we have over 160 million Nigerians.

Another implication of this is that since the assumption is Buhari is the only one who can rule this country well, he should rule forever. This is too emotional and stupid! We are not at Buhari's mercy.

Remember that Buhari won the election just because Nigerians as a people got tired of Jonathan even though Nigerians were head over heels in love with him in the beginning!

Once again, it is stupid to use this statement.
Opinions on the validity of the question is much less important than the actual answer to the question.

Interestingly, you still failed to answer the crucial question despite opening a thread on it.

Vote out Buhari and vote in who?

Please state your alternative candidate.
