This is collective. He's not singling out CNN, he addresses other fake anonymous sources too. The fact that the presidency are yet to respond to it shows that they are also considering the fact that it fake since it is not directly attributed to Trump. If Buhari should reply to such claim, it may bring up another issue with US presidency, because they'll also rebuff him for believing a news that's not credited to them.
