airsaylongcome:They are ripping you off. I use "fibre" too and it comes with a static ip by default 40Mbps #21k. Switch your provider. |
obyrich:Perhaps 40k; even 25k... but wouldn't it be lovely to pay 60k or so and have peace of mind about zero data caps and unmatched speed? We're talking north of 200Mbps Which ISP will give you even 80Mbps constant unless you're on a dedicated plan (which is super expensive and still has data caps) No comparison. |
obyrich:You are learner, people dey exhaust almost 1TB in a month. You don't know some people are heavy streamers and online gamers; YouTube etc. Stop generalizing; me for example, average 700GB per month thereabouts |
Oshey starlink don show |
Na me by tryyy and seeeeee ![]() |
emmaodet:Shallow mentality; if you like earn 1m usd per month? Won't you change it to Naira? How will you buy rice, beans yam in the Nigerian market? When the prices have x4 their original price. Or will they sell for you at original price just because you earn in dollars? For example, if a Camry that used to sell for 1.5m when dollar was 500 is now 3.3 million when dollar is 590. If you earn 5k usd per month; you only gained 450k extra. But the car is now more than x2 the former price. So last last you didn't gain shit. The 450k is useless. You Gerrit now? |
Ournolly:You damn right! |
Ournolly:This is disappointing to be honest. There are ISPs out there with better speeds/pings. This is mine at any time 24/7 on the 30Mbps plan. 100% speed delivered (nothing like peak or off-peak periods). Ping 3ms.

DoggoneDogg:The probability of him, qtguru, lying is like 10% (for this particular case); not saying he doesn't lie. heck; everybody does at a point in time. However, like what someone said; what he probably needs is a financial manager or more stringent financial mgt rules. Because, yes you're spot on. Taking up a 150k job to "pay bills" is bizarre. Yes, extra money is sweet, but It should be for what is is: extra money; not a bill-payment fund. I can relate too perfectly; cos I earn in the same range and even took a smaller project (100k ish) for a friend (not friends/relatives only) cos I just wanted him to pay something and not get it for free. I wouldn't give a stranger that price(it would hurt my reputation). Alas; the dude was starting to "behave like an employer and me; the employee with a salary of 100k). So I quick offered a refund instantly without blinking dropped the project; then charged him the real rate for the job 500k. So you see, if I had taken it to "pay bills"; I would have probably spent it, and then refunding it would be hellish; but since it was just extra money in the pocket; I had no issues sending it back to where it came from. |
dech2003:Respectfully; you're a criminal ![]() M1 Pro for $180 (90k) abi? |
A new phone should be sealed. Sh*t the f*k up. You were lucky it came with a box; it's not NEW but USED!!! |
I have been following this thread for while. . what do you mean Brand new Open box (No earpiece)? how can an item be brand new and yet the box is open and accessories are missing. For God's sake , brand new items are supposed to be tamper-proof sealed. Then stuffs like, Brand new, no Face ID . . Are you joking? Make una day fear God ohhhh. This dishonesty is getting out of hand. Come for me if you may I don't care. |
Bought, shipped and delivered. See date on receipt? This is legit as it gets.

wonlasewonimi:You're smart. Exactly what somebody said before. A headline was just thrown and even without being there; everyone is swallowing it hook, line and sinker. Even those who don't know how Tiger batteries work; are now claiming PhD in tesla and battery matters. Dumb ppl full here sha. How Nairaland has fallen |
descartes400:You talk smart, but in reality not smarter than the seasoned engineers who put together electric vehicles. Your idea is trash. |
FarahAideed:Not true for electric vehicles. Let me educate you a bit. ICE vehicles will continue to run and combust and burn fuel when you're sitting idly in traffic; so traffic is a nightmare for regular internal combustion engine - vehicles. Electric vehicles on the other hand will shut down the motors that drive the vehicles (no combustion; no rotation); The only things that would remain powered would be the electronics e.g. radio, headlamps and ventilation (A/C). In the state, you can sit in traffic for 1 week plus before the battery dies. So pound for pound, in traffic, the Tesla will die many many days later than a regular car that would last only a few hours at best. Be guided. |
SultanOfPuna:LOL true. Explosions only happen when something with intense pressure quickly discharges it e.g. perfume cans, insecticide cans, gas cylinder, not forgetting bombs. Even shooting at a car's fuel tank will not cause an explosion as seen in movies. |
Alusiizizi:If it took you that long, then i'm sorry, you dont know sh!t about js. you aint even started. |
Flier:How do you recognize a kid? He/she tries to engage in a piss!ng contest" with anonymous users they have no iota of idea about. How do you recognize an id!ot? They think they must be older than everybody they meet online. Bro, take your L and move on. No shame in eating humble pie. |
Flier:Ignorance is bliss. If phone batteries can last years with heavy usage, and car batteries, why won't solar batteries too do the same? have you thought about why batteries really die? I wouldn't want to start talking about battery chemistry, recharge and discharge curves depth of discharge etc, cos I am sure your IQ cannot handle it. You're an example of "i must do something" cos "others are doing it too" i am certain you belong to the group of using 4 batteries to power air conditioner and you wonder why your batteries are dying. Ever heard of Lithium? and why battery discharge are counted in cycles e.g 7000 cycles at 10% dod 500 cycles at 100% dod i am very sure your inverter (if you ever had one) shut down itself after screaming low battery everyday matched with undersized panels). And you expect it not to die in months. Scram!!! Go through thread in your free time and educate yourself. https://www.nairaland.com/390522/solar-energy-complement-fta/1091#108429380 Thank me later. |
Flier:Just as it's very possible to buy a lemon vehicle, or a badly-used phone refurbished to look like new, it's also possible to have paid for a badly installed system. I run a 7.5kVa system and next year will make it 6 years. Had to discard 12 batteries this year out of 16 cos' they stopped holding charges and will die within 1 hour after sundown. Had a diesel gen which was bought to augment for rainy days but guess what? it goes damaged from being overly idle.....There was a time it sat for 8mths without being touched. Had to sell it off. You had a faulty installation (discharge vs recharge calculation was bad) and like everything else in life, there are rules. Break the rules and suffer! |
Flier:If we check you very well now, you're not using Solar. cos if you were, you won't post that 2yrs crap. You have zero idea about something, only hearsay, and you open your mouth waaaa |
stanisbaratheon:2MB unformatted . . .1.44MB real usage |
@DrOladipo Nice work you're doing here. I prefer to use eBay auctions (and Amazon) for 2 reasons: 1. i don't really have time for chit-chats with sellers (fake sellers) 2. ebay uses PayPal, so no way in hell you're gonna scam me. Paypal has zero tolerance for shady deals and can block accounts for fun. So in this case, can i just sign up to use your business delivery address (of course, after providing the required documentation to prove that i'm human)? |
justscorchone:Software |
MaxieMan:Yes sir, i know it's only a matter of time. what i'm targeting, even "myself is" scared to tell others. they think am crazy. |
justscorchone:maybe this post isnt for me, but hell yea . . it was a teaching job lol . . at a primary school ![]() |
MaxieMan:Anything that has dot js in it, MEAN, MERN, PERN/PREN, etc, as people like to call it Anything that has Ruby in it Anything that has Python in it Anything that lives in the "cloud" Experience is "senior" and years depends on how many senior means to you, for some 4, for some 6 |
glassy:yeah sure, i'm a software engineer, so that's already half the details. funnily, first software job i got was from Nairaland here, random post i replied but was for 150k. in life, i have learned that people who strive to be above average will often succeed, so i studied more and more and more, until i had practically no life. until i met someone who helped me get another for 200ish , then 300ish. I wasnt comfortable, because i knew people out there earned more, at my level. Then 500ish, which i turned down cos still wanted more, Oliver Twist. Then now. I am still not at where i'd like to be but i know i have paid a price to deserve what i have now. take home is; most of ur high-paying jobs will come via recommendations and secondly, love yourself more. highest, i'll go to the village and drink 'garri' with peace of mind than do a 40k job that comes with insults on dignity. |
started from 7k in 2005, now x.3M per month p.s.: i see most people saying "lies everywhere". i was in this shoe, but with the right skillset and connections, even 3M per month is too small. |
