1. If a scientist creates an antivirus which is supposed to protect a computer system from virus is a good cause. If the antivirus becomes virulent, (it's choice, not the making of the scientist). In this case the creator should be able to put a stop to the antivirus. God has set a time and place for the punishment of the Devil.

2. Job was tempted by the Devil. He perhaps suffered to a great length but in the end he stood firm. God knows that job could withstand it cos he would not allow the devil to tempt us beyond our strength can carry. I can see that you don't understand what the passage is saying. If I say God gave you many Cars and Houses, does that literally mean that God came to you and send those cars to you?? What it means is that God allowed you to possess those material things cause there is nothing you have that is not by his mercies. He allows rain to fall on both the righteous and the unrighteous.

The Scripture is not a NOVEL or TEXT BOOK that you just pick and literally explain. You need the Holy spirit to reveal the mind of God to you!!!

Origin of marriage

God also forbade the kings of Israel to have “many wives” (Deuteronomy 17:17). Why did God seem to allow it, then?
God’s permitting of polygamy seems more like the case of divorce, which God tolerated for a while under certain conditions because of the hardness of their hearts. But it was not the way it was intended from the beginning (Matthew 19:. Whenever the Mosaic law had provisions for polygamy, it was always the conditional: “If he takes another wife to himself … ” (Exodus 21:10), never an encouragement. God put a number of obligations on the husband towards the additional wives, which would discourage polygamy. In view of the problems it causes, it is no wonder that polygamy was unknown among the Jews after the Babylonian exile, and monogamy was the rule even among the Greeks and Romans by New Testament times.
