I bet you are so shock to see this structure on the list, well, don't be. I included it because it defines how busy the city of Lagos is. This inter exchange bridge, otherwise known as Oshodi bridge is so popular among Lagosians that over seven million of them use it daily, making it the busiest inter exchange bridge in West Africa - Murtala Muhammed airport don't have this much people patronising it. Its popularity level is so high that CNN ace presenter/reporter, Richard Quest, had to do a report about it.

Seems you aren't getting this... I'm not talking about the 81mths ish which is even sensational journalism, no federal pensioner is being owed that much, maybe a couple of months but none has remained unpaid..it's It's differentials on increment not total figure...


What I'm talking about is that since Octoberlast year, gratuities of new retirees haven't been paid... Not a kobo for federal civil service retirees...only parastatals & Agencies have managed to wangle their way.... Main stream civil service have received zilch & it's not cool.

Make your findings if you don't believe me...

Much more interesting is the fact that the three suspects, Saleh Gambo (the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court of Nigeria), Rilwanu Lawal (Assistant Director of Finanance) and Sharrif Abdulrahaman (Deputy Director Finance) are all from the North and not one person from that region has kicked over the issue.

You can imagine what the situation could have been if they hailed from the South South or South East regions.

Misguided and misinformed youths, women groups and paid media practitioners who are always quick to defend corrupt persons or 'their own' for whatever reason should please take note! It is not likely that placard carrying Arewa youths or women will assemble anywhere in Nigeria to protest the arraignment of the three corrupt persons!
