ichidodo:Many people just look for news item and latch onto to them as if that is the ultimate truth. We have Alpha jets and they can still outrun and rain down death on BH ragtag army. So the Nigerian Airforce should use them to achieve whatever they can achieve. But if you think that is all NAF has, then you are seriously mistaken. The FG has purchased other attack/assault Helos and many of them have already been used. These are some of NAF's recent purchases. Google their pics and see what they are. MI24 Hind Helo, MI 17, MI 171sh, MI35M. These are modern crafts that NAF can be proud off. Just check the MI 171sh This is the MI 24 https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/11/Russian_Air_Force_Mil_Mi-24PN_Dvurekov-6.jpg/300px-Russian_Air_Force_Mil_Mi-24PN_Dvurekov-6.jpg |

Jeromejnr:I don't know of any special grace, the grace of God is what gives the opportunity of eternal life and its for everybody that works for it. In the bible some people are anointed for special purposes. Moses was anointed to be a deliveral, so he did special things because of what he had to do. It is not the person but the purpose. The moment he loses purpose he becomes an unfavorable vessel. Miriam and Aaron wrongfully murmured againts Moses, they were undermining his authority by using the excuse of his foreign wife to elevate themselves. When Moses married there was no law against marrying a foreigner, he was a fugitive and he married where he resided. They were wrong and were punished. When Moses also did the same thing by cursing the assembly of God and not giving due glory to God. He was sentenced to death. No special anointing covered him, he was wrong and he was severely punished, God even accepted a plea bargain for miriam but he didn't for Moses. He had to die. So if you are wrong, you are wrong and should be corrected no matter who you are. Am sure moses would have preferred that a little boy had scolded/corrected him before he made the blunder that cost him his life. Any man of God who refuse scolding, correction and is wearing a toga of anointing as shield is just digging his grave. |
Ilaje44:No I thot bad things don't happen to real christians, they are above all things bad, no weapon fashioned against xtians will never prevail. If they have God their business can't fail, they can't fall sick, they can't have any misfortune. That's the big lie pastors spread around and people just believe, because they want to be superman. Bad tins happened to the prophets |
Jeromejnr:You people love threats a lot, you think God is a gun u just pull out of your pockets and threathen people with or kill people with. So if someone talks ill of your pastor then God will make bad things happen to them. Are you guys serious. Do you know how many billions of people talk ill of God everyday and God just look at them as ignorant people who does not know their left from right. Who then is your pastor. |

Randerl:Please don't mention the chadians and cameroonians. What have they done, when did they join d war, and what have they done that the Nigerian army has not done 10 fold. BH has turned these countries into launching pads and if not the outcry of the NA and subsequently france's pressure they would have still be sitting on their asses. |
Boko haram's caliphate has always been in chad niger and cameroon. They prosecute a guerilla warfare here, attack and rob people on the highway, attack remote villages and kill indiscrinately and fiy their filthy flags for some few hours or days and then run into these countries when they are attacked. They have sunk boreholes, employed staff to m$anage their holdings and also get cheap idiots to fight for them in neighboring countries. Once those communities still exist and thriving we can't defeat them, anbd that is why chad Niger and cameroon needs to see the threat these bastards pose and finish them off. I pray this tempo is sustained by all involved. |

Otenestbestyaho:70 percent of these are no prophesies but speculations. Read the bible and know what prophesies are. What this tells me is that the man reads a lot of newspapers. He said Buhari will not vie for president because of credentials, if dat is true, buhari is out of the picture, then he said the elction would be like june 12, in which the winner is dnied, he also said the election is inconclusive. So how do you know d winner when the elction is inconclusive. He said Jonathan will be the president, and buhari is out, so who then is the real winner that would be denied. I don't even know anyone else apart from Gej and Gmb, so who is this person that would win the election but denied. Maybe he should have prophesied about the postponement, I guess there was no indication of that in d papers last year so one prophesied it. Read the Bible and stop paying attention to tales. |
This referee is so not it. |
Why is yaya taking corners nah, he should be in d 18, he is tall and srong and he can stay just outside d box and hammer any cleared ball. What'sin taking corners that he has to b one taking it. There is nothing someone will not hear in this life. The passion and devotion we give to our beliefs is also intrigueing. Genesis 1:1 is a broad statement, a summary of all of God's creative actions. When he started in time nobody knows. The creation of the material earth predates 6000 years. |

PastorAIO:1. U dont seem to understand me, Noah wrote no book and i was not there when he prophesied, so the only way i believed in Noah was because another inspired writer wrote about him. I have reasons for believing the books written by Moses is inspired, so i believe what is written therein. 2. The book of Enoch is not an authority for my beliefs. If you have reasons to believe it as inspired and everything there as truth, well that is your personal conviction. I am not convinced to believe it. 3. I think everything on this discussion centres on the book of Enoch, Maybe you should let me know why you believe in it. This has been answered. If a part of Jewish oral tradition is mentioned as a fact in the Bible, then it has scriptural authority for the purpose for which it was quoted. Those that are true but not in the scriptures are just what they are...true facts and not scriptural facts. e.g Is Ra a god worshiped by Ancient Egyptians, true fact, but not a scriptural fact, was Josephus a Jewish historian yes, but not a scriptural fact. Do the christians believe epimenides to be a prophet, do they see his writings as inspired by God.. do they use his writings as articles of faith. That answers the question. I believe you know what i mean, the moment matthew wrote them, it became a scripture so for all Christians who didnt hear Matthew firsthand his book serve as basis, a scripture to base their faiths and beliefs. I never said you did. |
ProphetUdeme:Approved by who? God Almighty,The Pope or the King of England. Do research on copyist errors in King James Version. |
Anas09:Hello Sir, Nobody is fighting Christ, we accept him as revealed in the scriptures, our savior and redeemer, the Powerful and Eternal Son of God. The King of God's Kingdom. The Only way to God. |
Anas09:The Bible said seek the truth and it shall set you free. First it is not only the witnesses who has omitted these verses from the Bible. I will use the example of the fist one Matthew 18:11. The verse is also omitted from the following bibles: NIV: New International Standard RSV: Revised Standard Version NLV: New Living Translation ESV: English Standard version AMP: Amplified Bible: Omission noted in footnote More than 20 versions of the Bible don't have this verse or explained it in the footnote Why Is It Missing? The verse is missing from some of the Bibles because the passage does not actually appear in the best early Greek manuscripts which contain Matthew. It is important to remember that the New Testament was written in Greek. These original documents called "autographs" were copied and passed from one person to another. In the process of making copies, errors would occur sometimes. Sometimes words were misspelled, words were left out, and on rare occasions, some copyists would insert some words. Today there are more than 5,000 thousands ancient manuscripts of the New Testament in our possession. By using a process called Textual Criticism we have been able to determine very accurately how the original"autographs" should read. A better explanation of textual criticism and the accuracy of our Bible is available from an article at the following link, "How Accurate Is The Bible?" The conclusion of that article says that the Bible is 99.9% accurate. There is no other ancient book in existence with so many copies and with so little error. The Bible is really unique. The Bible is very accurate! Textual criticism has determined that verse 11 should not occur in Matthew 18. The Expositor's Bible Commentary, edited by Frank Gaebelein says that verse was "Omitted in the earliest witnesses of the Alexandria, pre-Caesarean, Egyptian, and Antiochene text types" (Vol. 8, p. 401). Another Thought. It appears someone borrowed Luke 19:10 and copied and modified it into Matthew 18. Here is both Mathew 18:10 and Luke 19:10, |
paulGrundy:Wow, am shocked. We thank Jehovah. Cheers and take care. |
paulGrundy:As to the Quickening which you cited and expatiated on. This is an explanation of the term: Two balanced phrases state the result: "having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit." The Greek construction is identical in each phrase, indicating intended balance and correspondence between them. "Having been put to death in the flesh" declares the violent death of Jesus, terminating His life as a man here on earth. Men took violent action against Him to procure His death. "Flesh" (sarki>, used without an article, is qualitative and refers to the humanity He assumed at the Incarnation (John 1:14; 1 Tim. 3:16) and characterizes Him as a man among men here on earth. He was no Docetic phantom who only appeared to have a body. "But made alive in the spirit" declares a glorious antithesis. God acted to bring Him to life again (cf. Rom. 8:11; 1 Pet. 1:21). Some interpreters hold that the reference here is not to Christ's bodily resurrection but rather pictures the quickening of His spirit, which, set free from the limitations of His body, entered into a new life in the spiritual realm and engaged in spiritual activities in the spiritual world.6 But the antithetical structure of these two clauses more naturally suggests His resurrection as over against His death. The verb (z&opoihqei>j), used in ten other places in the New Testament, refers to the resurrection of the dead (John 5:21 [twice]; Rom. 5:17; 8:11; 1 Cor. 15:22, 36, 45) or denotes the giving of spiritual life (John 6:63; 2 Cor. 3:6; Gal. 3:21). It clearly means to give life where before it had ceased to be or where it had never been. In Romans 8:11 it is used synonymously with "raise up" (e]geo>rw) and asserts resurrection. Christ's redemptive victory was not complete until His resurrection. The expression does not refer to a quickening of His disembodied spirit which did not die. The balanced grammatical structure also implies an antithesis between "flesh" (sarki> and "spirit" (pneu<mati), suggesting that the two nouns should be taken in the same case. |
paulGrundy:Jesus was talking about his death and resurrection, he would be put to death and resurrected back to life. He was put to death in a fleshly body but was resurrected with a spirit body. My reasons for saying this is based on 1 Cor 14:40-45 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; 43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 45 So it is written: "The first Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. It's the same with the resurrection of the dead: a rotting body is put into the ground, but what is raised won't ever decay. 43 It's degraded when it's put into the ground, but it's raised in glory. It's weak when it's put into the ground, but it's raised in power. 44 It's a physical body when it's put into the ground, but it's raised as a spiritual body. If there's a physical body, there's also a spiritual body. 45 So it is also written, The first human, Adam, became a living person, and the last Adam became a spirit that gives life. 46 But the physical body comes first, not the spiritual one—the spiritual body comes afterward This verse was plainly saying there are two bodies physical and spiritual and that at the resurrection of Jesus, he was sown in corruption but was raised up as a spirit. 2nd Evidence 1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, in order to bring you to God. He was put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit….New Revised Standard For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,..English Standard Version For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit….Today’s New International Version For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us toGod, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit…New American Standard |
paulGrundy:If you fail to see that i refused to read further because you insulted me and you still went on with the same insulting speech, then i wonder why i should bother converse with you. If you don't know how to converse civilly and with respect, we have no further need to talk. My dis-continuing this conversation is not because am not giving room for questioning and criticism. |
paulGrundy:Don't refer to me as 'this one'. i wont bother reading what you have written. |
PastorAIO:Enoch prophesied to the early ungodly men, those people knew him, they are the ones that can choose to believe him or not, his prophesies were definitely well known then, but a lot didnt believe him. When Noah came he preached the same message, he got the same reception. These men were inspired by God to do what they did, but we would not have known or come to believe them if it was not recorded by other men of God in the scriptures. Moses inspired books revealed Noah and Enoch to us and they became confirmed and inspired prophets. If i was there when these prophets were alive and i see evidence of God's backing in them, then I could choose to believe or not, but since i was not, then the only authority on which i will accept that they were God's prophet is their confirmation by the scriptures Jude later mentioned specific statements of Enoch, whether he got it from Jewish oral tradition or God specially revealed it to him i don't know, but the moment he mentioned it in his book, then it becomes confirmed to me. Paul himself mentioned the context at which he quoted the poet, he used the poet's words to buttress a point to those who believed and respected the poet. I have never read the poet's book nor know if he exists, the scriptural authority i have from this is that; the poet really lived and he said those words Paul quoted. The moment matthew was commissioned to write his gospel, it is already a scripture. it is already being used by the christian community as an inspired scripture with full authority. Canonization is the collation of all genuine inspired books and rejection of spurious ones. |
PastorAIO:For me what authenticates Enoch's prophesy is the one i see in the scriptures, if its not in the scriptures then it might be true he said it, i may even believe he said it if the statements accredited to him is in line with what i know from the scriptures but it wont still have scriptural authority because those exact statements are not in the scriptures. |
paulGrundy:And to the GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH....that was not the original rendition, that is one of the sly attempts people used to put false trinity doctrine into the Bible. In the most extant manuscripts it is rendered 'He Who was Manifest in the flesh'. New International Version Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory. New Living Translation Without question, this is the great mystery of our faith: Christ was revealed in a human body and vindicated by the Spirit. He was seen by angels and announced to the nations. He was believed in throughout the world and taken to heaven in glory. English Standard Version Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory. New American Standard Bible By common confession, great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, Was vindicated in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory. Holman Christian Standard Bible And most certainly, the mystery of godliness is great: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory. International Standard Version By common confession, the secret of our godly worship is great: In flesh was he revealed to sight, kept righteous by the Spirit's might, adored by angels singing. To nations was he manifest, believing souls found peace and rest, our Lord in heaven reigning! |
paulGrundy:Jesus christ will die and be resurrected in 3 days, The temple of his physical body was destroyed but God raised him up with a spirit body. (1 Corinthians 15:44) It is sown a physical body; it is raised up a spiritual body. If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual one. Jesus himself said: “For a fact, the bread that I shall give is my flesh in behalf of the life of the world.” (Joh 6:51) It follows that Christ could not take his body back again in the resurrection, thereby taking back the sacrifice offered to God for mankind I dont know how your second bible quote shows that Jesus was raised up with a fleshly body. This is what the Bible says: 1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, in order to bring you to God. He was put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit….New Revised Standard For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,..English Standard Version For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit….Today’s New International Version For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us toGod, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit…New American Standard For also Christ once died for our sins, he just for unjust, that he should offer to God us [that he should offer us to God], made dead in flesh, but made quick in Spirit. Wycliff For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring you to God, after being put to death in the fleshly realm but made alive in the spiritual realm…Holman Christian Standard Because Christ once went through pain for sins, the upright one taking the place of sinners, so that through him we might come back to God; being put to death in the flesh, but given life in the Spirit…Bible in Basic English for Christ indeed has once suffered for sins, [the] just for [the] unjust, that he might bring us to God; being put to death in flesh, but made alive in [the] Spirit,…Darby Translation This is what the 'watchtower' believes and it is exactly what the Bible teaches. |
