I'm no expert in US visas.as a matter of fact most of d info i share here,i get from d internet.so,as for d Form 156,i dont think anything stops u from refillin again and again,as long as u always have new barcodes.from what i learnt,filling form online doesnt mean that u have submitted it to them at the embassy.All d best!

i went out of my way to find out some hotel rates in town, but i was shocked abit.The least i saw was 5k for the hotels i sampled.(AGAPE HOTEL Wuse 2-least price 5k,Ballyz place Wuse 2- 5k,St. Matthias guest house Utako- 5k) i didnt try Kom-yetty in Utako but i think it is same.

Well done! As for your list, i think u left GRE out if it is for Masters' degree.

As for the Ajbj hotels,check out Peace court in Zone 3,Kom-yetty in Utako,Chisco Hotels in Utako,Bali's place in Wuse 2,St. Matthais House in Utako by Arab contractors.

My advice is dat u go for any available date.Abj or Lag becos time aint on ur side.but at d same time u can relax until u get d reply 2 ur mail.but i prefer d former.

due to the urgency of the need for ur appointment date,try to check everytime for available dates.I just saw 1st and 2nd of July available in Abuja.So be at alert always.You dont need anyone if u can always check urself.

Whao! I thought we all ironed out the requirements for Student Visa very well here.  .  .  didnt you pay attention to all the details shared here??

But well done girl! U must have really done great, because according to what i've heard they only ask you for your SEVIS when they are satisfied that you are a genuine student visa applicant and ready to issue you your visa.Dont panic! U have sent a mail to them and i'm sure they will respond before the end of today.They take their work seriously and no matter what they will reply your mails.

Quickly send a mail to them using lagosstudentvisas@state.gov  or one for Abuja, also tell them you are to resume by 13th of July.And I sure they will squeeze ur appointment for sometime before then.

Whao! so u have to come down for ur interview? B4 u come down you have to inform any of ur relatives or friends to help out with ur interview payments etc . . .so as to avoid loss of time.

U will go to UBA like toyosiwemi said make the necessary payments,$131 for visa application and N3500 for VFS payment/interview.

depending on when your school resumes, July shouldnt be late.Just try to book as soon as u get your I-20 form.

Congrats on ur visa!!! That is really good news! So u had the GRE problem too, i really do not know what their problem is. He even requested for additional score which was sent over a month ago and yet to be received. Imagine!!! Anyways, the worse comes to the worse he will have to go there with or without it.

Thanks for thr info.But the truth is that the school that gave him admission did not require the GRE for admission into the school. He was sent a mail not to bother writing the exam (but he did anyways).Now he has not got the score report.

On the issue of 'enough funds' and 'exiting US on the completion of ur studies', which documents did you use to back up ur visa application? especially when you said that 'do not show them any documents except you are asked' Which documents are necessary which one are not?

I feel U 100%.A pastor that started many many years before.Do u think if he had wanted a jet all these years he wouldnt have gotten it from the so-called 'brain-washed' congregration? God was taking him through the phases, the phase with only one pair of shoes, to the phase of a low-paid lecturer, to the phase of an intrepreter, to the phase of a local pastor,to the phase of a growing local pastor, to a phase of a powerful and strong annointed pastor,to the phase rich man(who was once a poor one.).

All the years (some of his critics on NL were not even born then)[/b]of passing through these phases he had many ppl as his followers so if he wanted to be the richest man on earth by 'robbing' them he would have.

I really think poverty has eaten deeply into many brains in nigeria that ppl dont appreciate wealth anymore.We wish other ppl were more miserable than us.That is our mentality in naija.

For Example, if God says[b] i'm going to be the first black female President of United States of America who can stop me??! Not even all the 'unbelieving banoms' of the world can, because they simply cant comprehend some things they think it is impossible.I will be who God says I will be and when i will be going through all the phases nobody will be there to see my toiling o.it is when i come out shining that ppl will start insinuating different things.

We need the right mentality to be at the top! And we shouldnt bring down ppl that have spent years getting to the level they are now,be it Spiritually,materially or in life generally.

Hi guys,

There is an issue that is really confusing.My brother's GRE score report has not been sent to him yet.Or at least he hasnt received it yet.The schools he applied to confirmed that the have his scores with them,but dont understand why his copy didnt get to him.He had his exam jan 2009.He has his TOEFL and he has scheduled interview at the US Embassy for around 3rd week of June.

The deal is that he called and mailed ETS(body that organizes the GRE exams).he was apologized to and was told that another one has been sent to him which he was going to receive soon.That was early April and up till now he hasnt got it.

The question now is that, if he doesnt get his own copy can he still go the embassy.  .  .  having in mind the school he applied for didnt request for any GRE score(it is not required for admission)?The School is WSU in Kansas. I adviced him to take along a copy of the school's requirements stating that the GRE is not needed in any form to the embassy.

We still hope to get the score report.

Please we need ur advice on this.

The house (or future houses) will go to your children and not your husband.Whatever you do now on investments should not be seen as competition with ur man(contrary to what men think) but as investments for ur kids.

U can use my mum as an example, she has many houses and plots of land in different locations and she tells us often that she did all these for her children.Not that my Dad doesnt have more houses than she does and not that my Dad has a second wife, but becos of the mutual respect they have for each other.And they have lived together for over 35 yrs now.

we are all even reaping from these investments already.

Hope U understand better now, so let your man understand this too and move on with ur plans!
