dint get a reply here, i also asked other questions but dint get a reply, so i presume the bank would provide a letter stating all that is with them and am stickng to my school in UK and hope to apply next week and hope it aint to late, would give you a detail of my papers that i compliled when am done because now everything just be as e get.

About the US stuff- he hopes to get admission to a US sch,but people are like he should go now so as not to wait for too long.so he is going for the UK admission.

please house how do u prove a conversional course? i did economics and i have admission for an IT course how do i prove the change of course to let it scale?

Like someone said earlier; get a good personal statement on how the course will help you in your chosen field.If you have certifications in IT it will really help you,but all the same a good personal statement stating the latest IT technology methods etc that you are passionate about will help you.

Since we can all now agree(according to members research),that the interest is abt 19% annually,what should be stated in the student's application form as one's sponsor.

I mean is it going to be the sponsor(dad,uncle,etc) that helped you get the loan or the bank itself,having it at the back of our minds that you need to show your sponsor bank statement & ability to see ur tru ur studies etc.

What if your sponsor has abt 2m & collects the remaining sch fees as loan?And has paid 50% of your fees & has paid 4000pounds(1m) remaining 1m in his acct. ??

Is that acct. good enough for the ECO boys to grant ur visa?In short what documents do u submit for visa concerning sponsorship when granted loan for fees?

i really need as much help as required, i have an unconditional offer from University of Greenwich and Sheffield Hallam University for the same course but Sheff. is 3000 pounds higher but its not  a problem, my mum feels sheffield is better since things are a bit cheaper than Greenwich which is in the heart of london (south-east), so i havnt made a firm decision yet. (the offer is for sept 2008)
Now bankPhb is my sponsor (education eloan in collaboration with British embassy) so my question is that
1. i just finished service and am not working, how do i get a bank statement or do i need one?
2. am paying full tuition and acomodation do i still need to bring landed property and all that, though my mum is my primary sponsor and she submitted her collateral for the loan.
3. infact what do i need to make it sucessfull!
please help

My cousin has admissions in a British Uni. & also a US sch for his masters(for the same course).Which visa of these two countries does he have a better chance for?i heard Uk's visa stuff is really strict ,should he just go for US?

Hi guys,came to this forum to get info for a cousin of mine that is planning to go for his Msc. He wants to use my Dad's acct. (who is his Uncle) & he is planning to get this loan thing to pay atleast half of his fees.

Does he need to state that the bank is helping out?if so what should he add to his application on this issue.

The agency my cousin registered with is Eduworld Agency in Ikeja.He is highly frustrated.When he mailed the GRE ppl he was told that he hasnt been registered because they cant see any payment made in his name for the test.The money that he paid since Sept, just imagine.

He has forgotten them(Eduworld) and he is trying to register by himself this time around.

i will keep you posted abt it.

i really can feel ur pain.The same happened to my cousin.he registered for Toefl and GRE since Oct 2007 and he has only written Toefl,this he wrote last month,but as for GRE nothing yet.

i wouldnt mention the name of the agency yet(i will mention it at the end of the month too) but i must tell u that i feel the pain more cos i was the one that convinced him to go there (cos of all the stories we have been hearing b4).

i have a friend that registered in Abuja(with an agency,but she wrote the GRE exam in Lagos) around nov 2007 and she has written her exams already.

now he is in a dilema cos the whole thing might affect his admission.

Big Question.In the family i grew up in,u wash your clothes urself.i never saw my mum wash my Dad's clothes and i never seen my Dad wash my mum's clothes.Me and my brothers were tot to wash for ouselves and not to depend on someone else(except sometimes wash men or women).

So it makes it hard for me to wash any other person's clothes.i was just not brought up to wash other ppl's clothes expect mine.

But if it's going to be a big deal for my husband(not boyfriend o),i may wash few,but a washer man or woman will do the bulk of the job.

My cousin would be going for his master's in a US sch soon and he has been going on and on abt Bank statement.my Uncle has only one of N 3.2m,but my cousin is skeptical abt using that,saying it isnt high enough.

Pls i would love to know if that is enough to show that your sponsor can take care of ur schooling and other expenses.

He's sch fees and all is about N2.2m.

if not becos of education(esp.in nigeria),where u spend abt 5-7yrs in the university ,ehn,many girls would have been married at the age of 20-22.why do u think our forefathers used to get married on time,food plenty and no sch to go to.but now sch,unemployment and selfishness don take control.

Even the guys u see btw 27-40yrs that are not married are not so happy abt it,na poverty/selfishness o .no go dey think something else.

yes i mind,its a very very very very bad thing to happen.
it creates a limitation,that is is reduces the man.yes the woman can love u,no doubt but the day u have a quarrel,u may decide to go and drink ota pia pia because she will tell u your life history.she will also tell u the exact amount she has supported u with and also remind u that u did not come back to give account.
and because your purchasing power is lower than hers,your taste will not be as high as her own but she will make u buy expensive things together and split the bills all in a bid to limit u further,because believe me women enjoy being in charge of the home.
she will decide which car to use especially if u no get your own.
also she will never give u money except u ask her for it just to humiliate u.
this is a nija setting.

a woman can still do all these even if u r the one giving her money,she can still nag u,say u r not doing enough(even if she not earning than u or she not earning at all),she would say is this wat ur mates r giving their own wives,even if u give her a million naira per month,she would still tell u of someone that gives better to his wife,.so dont get it twisted.
