peeps4u: There was no need to write employee/partner.
Should have simply written 'partner" /Means "or" but okay |

Please what could be the case? Which kind of car, how often are you filling, is pouring water the only way you've checked for a leak? By "working well" you mean not bypassed? did you check the cap? Also, IS YOUR THERMOSTAT STILL THERE? |

peeps4u: If riders know that drivers aren't employees or staff of any ehailing platform, we will have less fights. Drivers are partners; they choose when to work and can reject trip which they perceive pose threats to them. They are not bound to accept all trips.
Infact, these companies know this fact, hence the need for surge to eñcourqge drivers to work during rainy days because they know many drivers will stay at home or reject those flooded areas. The fact that uber owns the platform is why they have share from drivers' earnings, but the ownership of the platform doesn't give uber or any platform the privilege to dictate which trip a driver must accept I didn't want to have to do this. Now what?

thelastorca: Gazzuz and Rd autoworks own their platforms.
If I am self employed, I can choose to reject jobs. However as an employee/partner I may not have that leverage, depending on the terms of my employment/ agreement. How are people not seeing the bolded?? This is how https://theoatmeal.com/comics/believe |

Rubbiish: Of course u will always find another perspective because the rider is a woman? @bold because someone is an engineer, he has no right to choose location for construction, even if it is sambisa forest? To many of u a taxi driver is a slave and must accept every nonsense thrown at him? Because someone is an uber driver doesn't mean he has lost the right to decline unfavourable and threatening trips. If his vehicle get damaged in the process of trying to be a yes man, will the rider or uber fix the car for him? When some people talk i just know they haven't own a tyre in their entire life, because if u have used a car and know how frustrating it is to keep repairing samething in a vehicle, u won't invite uber driver to certain location as a rider. You seem to really hate the people you interact with in your job and the job itself. Maybe find a new profession? |

izzou: Oh there is a very clear relationship sir.
Me: I'm sorry I can't fix your car today You: But that's why you're a mechanic
Me: I'm sorry I can't fix your leaking pipe today You: But that's why you're a plumber
I can go on and on, but I don't see the insult in that statement. And then calling her a prostitute makes the matter worse.
But then..... What do I know Wait... Are we.. Are we seeing things similarly...

Hope we could reason along with the drivers if they act unprofessionally to riders without provocation? May be they have had a rough day driving since, abi? No, because that is their JOB. it's not the rider's job. Just like a customer can walk in me place irate and screaming obscenities and I have to handle it PROFESSIONALLY |

kodred: You then become a regular. Please do not try to encourage the ‘penny wise pound foolish’ emotions of a consumer. We are tired of mediocrity.
Instead, what you should do is look for ways to provide finance options for the demographics (your customers) You already have an idea how bad it is, so you get a repayment plan of some sort put in place.
Eherbal is one of those people (demographics) that came to you for finance option and you outrightly declined. Now think about how may eherbals we have in the country and how much you declining on a reg. Now that's a new demographic I learnt about as a result of this thread. Unfortunately Financing is not an option. Banks are better equipped for that kind of job and with good work histories should be available to people needing financing. Our core competencies is repairs and that's what we focus on. On the positive side, eherbal got a free repair from another party and that party may have better insight into financing in this environment. |
