fabiano09: is nicon town the only good place to stay in Lagos ? Why didn't you quote banana island too, houses in my estate go for btw 40 to 60 mil, that's mobile estate, many other places go for that amount too ,even in the US with 100k usd you are considered sub high net not to talk of a 3rd world country like naija lol, nicon town and banana island is expensive but doesn't mean you can't buy a house in other good places I chose Nicon because it was in my eyeline when I was responding and I'm not familiar with a lot of places in Lagos because I keep to myself. Please show me where your own post contradicts what I said about 200 million not being high net worth since you want to nit pick. Even according to your post $1m is the benchmark smh This is your own link. I helped you since you didn't scroll all the way down. Notice it's not just $1m but $1m in LIQUID assets which is an even higher benchmark. But again, what do I know, I'm just a clown. https://www.investopedia.com/terms/h/hnwi.asphttps://www.proshareng.com/news/TAXATION/Taxation-of-High-Net-Worth-Individuals--Is-this-a-chase-after-shadows-/34646https://medium.com/@immigrationexpert23/its-time-for-ultra-rich-nigerians-to-turn-into-ultra-rich-global-citizens-4abaf02479ff That's the last I have to say about this insane argument, which again was the point of the original post. LET THIS THREAD RETURN TO WHAT IT'S MEANT FOR. nonsense and ingredients.

Wow! More expensive than Mobil 1 extended. Was looking at something cheaper Oh, yeah definitely. One's German the other's American. Carquest is slightly cheaper and dexos rated as well. With the promo I have going on right now your set for one to one and a half years at about 10k a change. |

fabiano09: people too funny ,you know the calibre of people using uber ,both young and old ,uber is basically the safest means of transport in lagos, have you ever heard that a rider was kidnapped before ,una too like to talk rubbish and some people too like to form . The greater risk lies on the rider robbing or kidnapping a driver not the other way around ,someone said a person worth 200 mil isn't high net worth in a 3rd world country like naija lol, just because you won't use uber doesn't mean others won't And I stand by it. That person can't even buy one plot of land in Nicon. Like I said before, he's doing well but he's not high net worth. Safety concerns aren't just about kidnapping SMH. You're asking me to put my life in someone else's hands behind the wheel and the way some people drive.... Nope, just nope. Another reason I don't use Uber is I get car sick. Even my driver hardly drives me. I drive myself most of the time and he rides along lol. Overseas in some countries I either rent or for short distances take an Uber. The roads are better and I'm less likely to get carsick. Back to my original point, the argument was pointless to begin with.

ndubuis: I no longer understand this forum. Thought it was for Uber partners to share on the job experience? Why have empty barrels made this place a haven to talk about a "never was" life? Living in a ghetto somewhere in Festac and won't let those who are not your mate to rest, people that have seen it all before you were born. And another comes here to talk about being a CEO. Which CEO brags about being one? Clowns. Nigerians are funny characters. Please, where is the brag? I stated an opinion on a discussion but of course you couldn't disagree civily and had to start calling names. I may not be an Uber driver but I follow this thread to understand the life of one and try to see what might be helpful to one. For someone like me who delivers a service, I'm ineffective unless I understand every demographic in the market and their needs... But what do I know, I'm just a clown ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Have a great evening

donshegzy: Hello house,
I have a 2010 Camry SE v4. My mechanic uses the Total Quartz 5000 SL (20W-50) oil. Is it a good oil?
Also, I currently use a 225/50R17 tire and I’m looking to change it to a bigger size so the vehicle doesn’t appear too low (I don’t want to raise it as suggested by mechanic). Please recommend tire sizes or should I stick to this one?Thank you. For YOUR car, NO.

ajoks533: That's what people don't understand... Anyways, na our mentality dey cause am... We place alot of value and regards on the so called high profile individuals, cos las las we believe Oga go smile on boys.
Imagine where a Prime Minister will ride bicycle through 10 blocks to his office or a CEO will ride a bicycle 15-20mins from his to his office.
Nigerians will see Mr. Spell buying corn and they all gather just to see him. Then you go hear "So this guy dey follow us eat roasted corn"
Abeg like I said, let's leave this argument, our value systems are different. We all don't value people the same. I might see someone you regard to as a high profile citizen as a mere individual trying to survive, maybe cos I am related or know him beta, while the one I dey comot cap for be upcoming thousandnaire to you. tojahh: Bros lock up... You know only what is available to you. I gave you the name of the company whose CEO drove on my ride you are here speaking English. The CEO is worth more than 200milion in naira. Go and look it up and stop trying to change the subject matter. You're not the only one opportuned to meet these people if at all. Note... These people understands the risk of what they're doing but trust their guts! Even a common man like you has value sir. This argument you guys are getting into is ridiculous for real. I'm a CEO/director of multiple companies both here and overseas and I will NOT get in Uber in Nigeria. None of my counterparts will either. We use Uber for deliveries and for my employees but not for us. In some European countries and US maybe but not here. It's not a pride thing. It's a security thing. when you are a target for competitors and desperate people you don't just get in any vehicle. On this thread I see some examples of why I wouldn't. There are some shining stars here that I wouldn't mind taking an Uber with but what are the odds of finding one? I cannot kee myself or be dragging with someone so my life is easier. Just like when I gave my opinion as a rider on cancellations and it turned to fight. I cannot be quarreling over trivialities so why open myself up to that? There is nowhere I need to be that in an emergency I need an Uber. They will wait for me. That being said, I value other people's time and am where I'm supposed to be when I say I will and I expect the same from others. Forget this argument. The people you are arguing over are oblivious and you could be using the energy to make more money and become like them. P.s. 200 million is really not high net worth. That's just half a million dollars. He's doing well but that's not high net worth. Let the crucifying begin. |

thebigkendo: Last time I checked.. Honda does not have conventional oil, only has synthetic blend & full synthetic
Honda highly recommends Honda motor oil, then same Honda tells me I may use synthetic oil as long as it meets the same spec with conventional and still tells me to follow the same oil change interval as conventional even when using synthetic Dru hates the bolded
1 + 2 = 3 Me and you go quarrel o . Na synthetic blend we dey talk about not Honda. Across the board synthetic blend is crap. We don't make it for that reason. My point is either go conventional or go synthetic. |

easysunny: Not 5w20 again? It's 5w20 that Honda recommends on the engine cap. I hope using the 5w30 won't cause problem just like 20w50 that I want flush out? Pls enlighten me. I'm planning changing it this weekend. Thanks He's going slightly thicker to compensate in case 20w50 did any damage. If no problems with 5w30 after a couple changes, then 5w20. I got the impression you haven't had the 20w50 in there long which is why others said straight to 5w20. Also, I'm going to have to disagree on the synthetic blend. Blends are crap. |

PuZZyNegro: You solve maths in a complex way bro.
Simply put - multiply 10900 by 0.2 (20% = 20/100) to get 2180
Deduct 2180 from 10900 to get 8720
Add 300 to 8720 to get 9020 Or 1) multiply 10900 by 0.8 (the 80% you keep) 2)plus 300= 9020 EDITED FOR CLARITY ofime123: bros I understand small but not all can pls explain to me were the 80 is coming from because I no too know maths |
