I really don't understand all this self centered agitation. How does all this position affect the common man who are from those area.I remembered when I applied to study at unizik some years ago hoping has an indigene I will be admitted behold they brought their local government politicising into it and I lost out.I did apply to uniben and I got admitted .almost 2 years after graduation my rule books have changed about good governance and position. We are clamouring for position for certain individual as if all other parts of Nigeria are not entitled to such.it only a clown that thinks Nigeria is made of only three ethnic groups.schooling in pH opened my eye to the suffering of the ogonis,degema,okirika and the Kalaharis.Every Nigerian deserves good governance.democracy means if you lose out you strategies.all this clamour is for a few clique.

Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu has sacked three of the 17 Local Government Chairmen in Abia and appointed their replacements, Igbere TV can authoritatively report.

This is coming less than two weeks after their appointment as Transition Committee Chairmen, and less than 48 hours to the March 9 Governorship and State House of Assembly election in the state.

The affected local government councils were Arochukwu, Osisioma and Isuikwuato. The chairmen appointed to oversee them were unceremoniously removed last week and immediately replaced.

Though the governor did not make public the reasons for their removal.

However, a close source to the governor told Igbere TV that the affected chairmen had refused to endorse the governor's re-election bid.

The source, who doesn't want him name mentioned, added that “they were not seen as trusted PDP members who will deliver their council areas to the party because that was the reason the governor inaugurated the chairmen this time”.

Swearing-in the new chairmen, Governor Ikpeazu charged them to ensure electoral victory for the PDP in Saturday’s election in their respective councils.

According to him, the appointees were carefully chosen to intervene to bring stability and victory to the PDP in Saturday’s polls.

Ikpeazu, however, urged them to work closely with stakeholders and other members of the party in their areas to ensure victory for the party.

He also charged them to ward off external influences that may mar the conduct of Saturday’s governorship and House of Assembly polls.

The Governor told the new Transition Chairmen that their appointment was a stepping stone for greater opportunities to serve the state in future and wished them well.

Responding on behalf of his colleagues, the transition committee chairman of Isuikwuato council, Mr. Chima Agbaeze thanked the Governor for the opportunity given them to serve and pledged not to disappoint him.

If this is true then,I see the clamour for restructuring as a facade coup designed by the mini gods to have more access to the state treasury not as if they have the interest of the citizens at mind.just imagine the way the governors abuse their office ranging for abuse of the police ,silencing journalist for exposing them,local government chairmen as their stooges. Then we are deceiving ourselves. Out of the so called 180 milion Nigeria. I can say only 40 million are good quality.The rest are just occupying unnecessary space. Imagine only 40million are paying tax in the formal sector. The remaining are a burden to us. Planned Parenthood need to increase their work before we have more quantity with no quality individuals in Nigeria. I have 100k to invest in Ntb by using the I invest of sterling for the next tenor rate of 85 days and maturity date on Feb 28 2019.the problem I have now is am new to the financial market. I will say this and I will say it again, how many of you low risk takers support Nigerian businesses? Buy stocks? Specifically businesses that will go on to export goods and services that earn forex that would ultimately increase supply of said forex? Because that is the only way. If supply is greater than demand. The truth is, many of you are fine with the Tbills low risk, which is okay, many more are fine with fixed deposits and many many more are fine with leaving their money in their bank accounts, and the banks? They are not lending anyone money, they are buying Tbills up and snacking on it like breakfast.

So I am wondering how a select few in Nairaland or a select few of Nigerians that choose to invest will create more devaluation for the naira, when the way the country is run does that exactly.

The funny part about this argument is if we begin to ask people what they think of this current Administration, many wouldn't have any good thing to say. I am now wondering why people have decided to be optimistic about whatever said government says about the economy you are complaining about. It's surprising and it's also not. My conclusion is bias, because of the low risk easy money. Many can't phantom a world without Tbills, a world without a low risk investment. A world with only high risk stocks is a no-no for them. That's my opinion.
