i have always said it during conversation with football stakeholders both formally and informal fora.we have refused to develope in this country due to our myopic way of handling issues. what we are running here in nigeria is an amateur league all in the name of professional league.
i think the current management of lmc have been distracted lately with football politics in the glass house.

We need to promote the community or fan ownership model that encourages good fan relations with one another. i am currently working with a group of football enthuaist in establishing the first online football owned club in nigeria to be based in awka.

our league is currently not ripe for private investment because of lack of return on investment but can only grow if the community or fans or supporter group can be used to challenge the current model of government and unserious private investor.
