Brits regardless of their accents understand themselves pretty well. So why you tripping lol. Brits are not too serious...They are true to the language and what works for them.

I understand you prefer the American accent for the reasons you stated - but some people don't like the American accent for similar reasons too. We all different and have individual preferences. Cheers.

RP is used on BBC because it's easily understood by people who learned English as a second language. There are stronger English accents that BBC refuse to promote - because only the locals understand them.

Even in the US, the accents vary from West coast to East coast and beyond. A New Yorker sounds different to someone from New Jersey. And someone from South Carolina sounds different from a typical Amish.

Yeah most people new to British accents rather learn the RP cause it's true to clarity and easily understood. RP is what you hear on BBC news (broadcasters)

Let me advise you as a brother..... Just some weeks ago,the same thing happened to a stallite...He violated the terms and conditions and he was blocked.... The fact is,without access to the email,you can't get your accommodation approval because that's where it will be sent to...And without accommodation approval, you can't be given accommodation.....But again,the good news is that it can be rectified by the school ICT office also called MIS,if you try it. tommorow and it says the same tin,then you have to go to MIS to rectify it..But don't make the mistake of applying for hostel until you solved the ish....BTW,dyu stay in IB?
