Romance › Re: Parental Consent - Really Necessary?? by Raiders: 8:13am On Nov 28, 2014 |
It depends on the situation. If the reason the parents don't support the marriage to the spouse is because of tribe or religion; then you don't need to listen to them. but if its because the spouse has a bad life style or invovle in criminal activities then its good to listen to your parents and not get married to the spouse. |

Onlinebizexpert: Are u for real?
If they were ur siblings would you respond this way u did?
Or are you just allowing political sentiment to cloud ur sense of judgement
This is outrageous, human life is sacred and as such it should not be wasted just like dat
If this story is true, amaechi and his cohorts did a very bad thing and should be ready to face the music
Imagine what the parents of these youths would be going through now.
May their souls RIP If my family members were among those killed, I wont feel sorry for them. Why should any Nigeria youth allow himself to be use as tools for politicians? They are not protesting for jobs, good governance or security. They went there to protest for some selfish politicians who would not allow their own children to be there protesting. Nigeria youths need to learn or they will continue to be use as pawns by politicians. |

gratiaeo: So the government of Yamen, Syria, Pakistan, Palestine, Iraq, Egypt, Algeria, Kenya, Afghanistan, Iran, south Korea etc are not also doing their best curb What's happening in their country. Qatar, Saudi, Dubai etc are what they are today because of American influence. Stop blaming the Otueke man for north inflicted calamity, blame those who promised 2 make their backyard ungovernable So because those countries are experiencing terrorism then Nigeria should accept the killings because it happen in other country. Its the responsibility of the president to protect the life and properties of Nigerians. |

slimmy05: Well, talk is cheap so as Internet access. You come here to type this poo. You're simply uninformed or misinformed. how is it poo? I am just saying what the Nigeria constitution state. There is nowhere in the Nigeria constitution that state the speaker or senate president must be from the majority party. You are the one misinformed |
Politics › Re: IG Of Police Says ‘thugs’ Tried To Enter NASS, Insists Tambuwal Is Not Speaker by Raiders: 10:17am On Nov 27, 2014 |
slimmy05: I don't know what these men do with their brains. It won't go down well with him. He will continue to be in court until after election. He wants to preside over the majority. Tambuwal has the majority in the house. He has the support of some pdp house members and most APC house members. The Nigeria constitution did not state that the speaker must be from the majority party. We are not operating a parliamentery system of government where the majority party rules the government. The courts will support the speaker because its really clear that the speaker can come from any party as long as he is a member of the house |

ROSSIKE: You're talking rubbish. Most of those visas are given to Nigerians who are visiting tourists, there on holidays or shopping etc and who don't 'overstay' and are not there looking for ''greener pastures''. YOU DO REALISE SUCH NIGERIANS EXIST? You must prove you have a reasonable income here etc before you can get that visa. You and your ilk must be CRAZY if you think those visas are being given to migrating folks!! lol. Most people in this forum don't know what non immigrant visa means. Thanks for educating the young man |

Education › Re: Does The University One Graduate From Really Matter To An Employer?? by Raiders: 10:14pm On Nov 25, 2014 |
Muyogoa: hmmm...are u saying a first-class product of UI is the same with a first-class product of KWASU? yes. Most employers don't care if your first class is from UI or Kwasu. For example in my state, if you make first class in any Nigeria university you get scholarship to any foreign university with immediate employment when you return. So the school you get the first class don't matter |
Education › Re: Does The University One Graduate From Really Matter To An Employer?? by Raiders: 9:56pm On Nov 25, 2014 |
No. It don't matter. As long as your university is NUC accredited no employer will discriminate you. Employers consider the grade you graduated with not the school you attended |

major466: You don't know what you wrote here. Yar'adua ended Niger Delta militancy? Do you know the condition that led to the Amnesty for the militants? Do you know it was because of the near shut down of the petroleum sector by the militants coupled with massive loss of revenue that brought Yar'adua to its knees and called for peace talks? If not for the drastic fall in oil revenue that almost led to the collapse of the oil sector, Nigerian government would have shut down. It was the massive fall in revenue that brought amnesty, not Yar'adua. stop being naive. Yaradua ended the Niger delta militancy. Was Nigeria not also losing revenue during obj presidency ? Obj could not stop the militancy for over 6 years. I was born and raise in Warri and Yaradua amnesty helped reduce the insecurity in the Niger delta. If not for Yaradua ammensty, there will still be killing and violence in the Niger delta region. I will always respect Yaradua for the peace he brought to the region. |
