90% of corp members posted to Abuja influence or pay money to be posted to Abuja. I don't see any reason why someone would want to serve in a place like Abuja and Lagos without having plans for his accommodation and PPA. The problem with Abuja is their the number of Corpers posted there are more than the available PPA so the ones without connection get rejected. There are many states in Nigeria in need of corpers with decent accommodations and low cost of living but most corpers would rather want go serve in Abuja and lagos. I served in Enugu and it was a really nice experience for me. Most of us in Enugu got good accommodation and PPA and rejection rate was very low. Prospective corpers should stop influencing their posting to lagos and abuja without having good plans for PPA and accommodation.

my bro, love only exist in Hollywood and nollywood movies. Women love money and no modern Nigeria woman would marry a poor man. If you have the money, there is nothing wrong in marrying many wives as long as you can take care of them

For some weeks now, Igbos have been gloating and musing over the possibility of the PDP candidate, Jimi Agbaje, picking an Igbo running mate.

They had nursed high hopes right from when he was just an aspirant. And it was almost looking like a done deal when Jimi Agbaje picked the ticket albeit controversially.

All the while, during previous political debates, I had urged them not to waste their vote on any of the Yoruba candidates with the hope of getting the deputy governorship position cos it won't happen.
Rather, I said they should 'mobilize massively' for the ibo candidate, Bob Okey Okoroji of APGA since in their warped imagination they make up '60%' of the voting population.

With this 'huge' voting strength, 'bloc ibo' votes will readily give ibo candidate the 'landslide victory' as the major Yoruba contenders will most likely share the much 'fewer' Yoruba votes.

Up till this morning I kept telling them that Jimi Agbaje will NEVER make the mistake of having an ibo running mate but they wouldn't budge.
They chose to remain in dream/lala land.

Now that Jimi Agbaje has fatally dashed your hopes, I want to believe that the stage has been set for the ibos to prove their worth to we Yorubas in Lagos by votin en masse for the ibo candidate APGA has fielded so that we can appreciate their 'huge' electoral value for once.

Igbos must NOT disappoint this time. The party is a strong ibo party and the candidate is ibo

I don't play tribal politics. I wont vote a candidate because of his ethnicity. I am going to vote for the person I feel will perform for the next four years and I hope the Igbos in Lagos also vote for their right candidate irrespective of his religious and tribal association. We are in 2014 and its time for us Nigerians to stop allowing politicians use divide and conquer tricks to f00l us.

You are just in my head honestly......... Amaechi had power in PDP than he does now. He is trying to be relevant but APC is using him for financial interests. How can a governor who made obvious wrong political moves and no strategy at all be given a position as strategizing as DG of a campaign. The main strategizers are those who initiated the party in the first place..... He is trying to by a mothers love which only PDP can give him. APC didnt even lobby for him to join the party, he just joined when he had a fall out with Jonathan and of course they will welcome anyone. Ameachi problem with PDP didn't start with GEJ. it started before GEJ was VP. PDP has nothing to offer Ameachi anymore. Its better for him to be relevant as a godfather in APC than be nobody in PDP because he has no future in PDP. Like I told said before, People like Ameachi are the next generation opposition leaders. I also don't think APC is using Ameachi because he will always be relevant and useful to the opposition even after the general elections just like Tinubu is. Why should Amaechi go back to PDP? PDP has done amaechi so many wrong. They stole is ticket in 2007 and expel him out of the party because he took the case to court. It was only with the help of the courts he got back is ticket. Amaechi will never go back to PDP and he is consider a leader in APC. I see him replacing Tinubu as APC leader in the future when Tinubu retires. APC is also going to win the rivers state election because they have popular candidates

The easiest way to make money as a student is to join student politics. In my first year, I was a class rep; second year, I became a hostel hall official and I got free accommodation and made some cool cash. My 3rd year,I re-contested for Hostel rep and won and in my 4th year, I contested for my school SUG and won. I also won shell scholarship in my 2nd year. I never lacked money through out my stay in the university
