Clergies are very busy these days in Anambra. Anambra don't play with clergies...Revered fathers, Sisters, Anglican priests, Marist Brothers, Jesuit Brothers, etc. They run schools, hospitals, senior homes and orphan homes far better and efficient than private or government! In fact they will return change to you with a job well done. Better than private and government managers stealing 2 billion, 10 billion....criminals!

I see all these jobless young men looking for jobs, my friend go and join clergy especially in Anambra...they give you nice flat to live, food, car and allowance. I know 2 guys who went that route...driving brand new Honda Accord donated by private wealthy people to the clergies/ churches.
hope you know that these clergy men get posted a lot. Wch means those houses don't belong to them. They also have official cars. Wch means when they get transferred, they leave all those things behind

Presenting the Cheque, Gov Obiano noted that the N150m is meant for projects identified to be necessary for infrastructural upgrade of schools under their control.

Recall that the administration of Obiano had last year given N300m to the Anglican Communion which they have commendably utilised.

mandarin:
I do not know how old you are sir/ma but we must all admit that your states just like every other state in Nigeria receive Federal Allocations. These states also benefited from post war reconstructions and humanitarian donations. Haba! enough of preaching self- aggradisement and obsession with self love, ego and pride which the Bible says leads to destruction.
All core Igbo states received allocation from the Federal Government, many of them end up in individual's pocket some of which are carried abroad and some built some of those structures the @op showed us, this is everywhere in Nigeria and no part of this country can absolve itself of having not benefited from the incomes of this country.
I once heard that Onitsha- Owerri road was contracted severally to indigenes of that area but the work was not executed, now part of the money for the road would have found its way into construction of various buildings and even private businesses etc. The road will remain undone and people will think its the government that neglected them, no dear, its our people who through self love built estates and palaces for themselves but leave the poor to ride on their feet while dinning inside SUVs.
The efforts of the Igbo people are commendable especially in trading but we must begin to look beyond importations which drain our economy and enrich traders. You must also realize that what majority of traders sell depends on the market provided elsewhere. Take for instance, if there are a million Igbo traders in Kano, its just a common sense to know that aside these a million traders there are buyers with purchasing power that patronoze them or all others are also Igbo?

I just want everyone to see that across Nigeria are structure like the @op saw. Let's just be rational a bit for instance, the South east is a concentartion of 14million plus people in an area that is about the size of Oyo State or Benue State(if am not mistaken), just cramp all the houses elsewhere in Middle Belt or Southwest region there and see if you wont have a densely populated kind of settlements that can easily be convincing. I mean, bring together for all cities and major towns in Northwest into that space.
My people, the governors in the East have less roads to asphalt than Borno/Yobe/Adamawa and just a little more infrastructures that Lagos should provide in terms of population( I did not mean to deride them please) so what have they done with trillions they have received since the advent of democracy in 1999. You will agree that every part of Nigeria is affected and every limitation before the South East is also before people in other regions and I don't mean to say there aren't no reasons for grieviances
how dare you type this nonsense. Who gave who which money to develop East? When the federal government declared abandoned property on igbo properties outside the east and also collected igbo people's money in banks and gave them 60£ each. Many companies you see today were owned by igbos but it was forcefully collected from the igbos.

The government gave no development dues to anymore all the federal government did was to rebuild damaged federal building in the east

Seems like Obiano was really busy yesterday
PoliticsGovernor Obiano Commissions Three Water Projects In Anambra by raker300(op): 8:35am On May 17, 2016
Governor Willie Obiano has commissioned three water projects in Anambra State.
The first was the commissioning of a 420,000 litres capacity water scheme with 11 kilometres reticulation coverage at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam campus, located inside the university.
Governor Willie Obiano said that he decided to tackle the water challenge of the institution in line with his approach to issues concerning the critical sectors of Anambra State’s economy in terms of ensuring standard infrastructure.
He expressed hope that the water scheme, aside servicing the water needs of the university, would take care of over 1,000 households around the university environment daily.
Governor Obiano said that his vision was to ensure that the impact of good governance was felt by every citizen, community and institution in the state, maintaining that every necessary infrastructure meant to serve the people of the state must be fixed.
He stated that the project was a product of his visit to the university where he was told of the water challenge faced by students and staff over the years.
The governor also promised a quick completion of the power project in the state which would boost power supply in Igbariam while he advised the students to remain calm and peaceful.
In his speech, the Permanent Secretary of the Office of the Secretary to the State Government and the MDGs’ Desk Officer for the project, Mr Daniel Ezeagwu, highlighted the specifications of the water project that distinguished it as the best.

Commending the Governor, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Fidelis Okafor, said that he would ensure the water needs of the institution were serviced effectively.
Governor Obiano proceeded to Ihiala Local Government Area (LGA) where a water scheme with total storage capacity of 475 litres with 40 kilometres reticulation was commissioned as 20 kilometres of water reticulation in the first phase had been realised.
He assured the residents that work on two major roads within Ihiala would commence and effort was in top gear to ensure 15 hours of electricity supply in the local government area.
At Umunze in Orumba South Local Government Area, the joy of the people knew no bound, as the largest regional water scheme of 870 litres storage capacity with 40 kilometres reticulation was commissioned.
The project executed by the Anambra State government with support of the Federal government under the 2013/2014 MDGs’ conditional grants scheme comprises three boreholes, water treatment facility and 100KVA generator, as it would serve at least 35,000 households daily.
Governor Obiano urged the residents to take ownership of the project and protect it from vandalism, especially the giant generator that would be supplying power for the water scheme and be sure to wave goodbye perpetually to water challenge.

Nnewi Goes Live in the 2nd Phase of Obiano's Light Up Anambra Project.

Former Governor of Anambra State, Dame Virgy Etiaba had the honour of switching on the 4km long Street Light project few moments ago in Otolo Nnewi.

Gov Obiano used the opportunity to announce that the second Street Light Project in Nnewi will cover 10Km just as Anambra State Government is making tremendous effort to ensure that the industrial hub of West Africa gets all kinds of power it requires bother captive power and otherwise.
