Newmum0615: If you get married after submitting your application, she doesn't need to bring even IELTS to any table. Your CRS score won't be affected. She just needs to submit herself for medicals, PCC and then you add her international passport, photos and make up your POF to accommodate her. You can even add the POF before hand to cover both of you. This thing is not as hard as you are thinking it. In my humble opinion, doing a 'simple' court wedding post AOR is what I'd suggest. You really have nothing much to lose by adding her now and saving yourself the stress of sponsorship later. A couple I know are still waiting a year and a half for the wife to be eligible to sponsor her husband cos the wife had not been able to get a good job that will allow meet the financial requirements for sponsorship. The husband still sends her upkeep allowance from Nigeria here. She only recently got a good job and is hoping to start the process now after almost 2 years of landing. On top the stress, belle come enter the equation as a result of several 'conjugal visits'. My brother, Canada is cold o. Skype alone cannot keep you warm. You need the regular warming only your iyawo can provide. How many times do you want to come to Nigeria to come and collect heat from her. She can finish with all her plans in Nigeria and still have the added benefits of being a PR. In the end, it's yours and hers to decide. Do what you must. Enuf said.
NB: Bia, Ifeoma77 thank you for transferring your Apollo to me. I got it by just reading your post the other day. Bang on Point End of Discussionment. |

Phlunter01: Oya oh I don enter am with all this My many side hustles....Advice needed oh. I have submitted my application (AOR - Nov 2, 2018)
Dear Sir/Madam, Letter of Explanation for Personal History (Additional information)
While I work with BYCT Bank plc as stated in my employment history (December 2012 till date), I have been a part time Agricultural Consultant with GXYZ Farms since August 2012. The farm is a mixed farming business with its major farm settlements in Ogun state Nigeria, I carry out research, render advisory and training services as well as evaluations for the farm from time to time whenever it is required This was born out of my passion for Agriculture and my degree in Agricultural Economics and Extension. I also have a small mocktails business where I cater for small parties on the weekends when I get orders this is called DETHK Cocktails and it is owned by me and registered as a business name though I have not done much with it. I also have an unregistered Papercraft hobby name REGEG Crafts and I do this freelance for friends and family . I thought it important to mention all these as they form part of the activities I have engaged in within the last 10 years and I am aware that it is important to mention all activities engaged during this period. Though this activities/engagements do not form part of the basis by which I am qualified for the Express Entry program, I do not wish to withhold any information from the CIC hence this Letter of Explanation. You nailed it. On point. Je m'appelle ONPOINT |

Contacted IQAS severally and finally on 25th of june, found out assessment done for me was Educational not immigration. So i was directed to re apply to IQAS for re assessment and make fresh payment . Did same on the same date ( Iqas informed me it will take them 12 to 13 weeks to release new ECA) so the wait started and CIC kept sending me letters to submit or app will be rejected. 17th October: received ECA from IQAS n forwarded to CIC immediately. 1st November: MEP 2nd November: IP2 6th November: PPR Another one - Yes it keeps getting better. Glory to God. Congrats |

Sisi92: Good morning everyone. I have been reading this thread silently since towards the end of part 4. I have read from part 1 and I appreciate the wealth of knowledge I gleaned. Thank you to everyone who improves the thread. My plan was to begin the ECA process this month, while I have also started preparing for IELTS. But somehow, yesterday we discovered that my hubby is hepatitis B positive. I am negative. I was devastated, I think I read somewhere on this thread of someone whose wife was positive too or something. Please does anyone know what this means for my Canadian dream. Is this the end of the road for us? Please help. Start treatment ASAP - its not the end of the journey for you. The viral load is the main determining factor - you just need to get his viral load down enough. I am sure if he starts treatment now even before medicals it must have gotten low enough thats depending on the level now. ACT ASAP Dont give up continue the process. It is well with you and your husband in Jesus name - Jesus still heals diseases too, so pray. Je m'appelle Ramj |

They do not require nor request for Certificate of NECO or WAEC all they want is the direct one from WAEC or NECo. Jusr relax when the original one gets there it would be sorted. NB: Had similar experience |

Wokeyim: Good morning house. I got below message from WES as per my NECO result sent to them. Pls what does this mean, do I have to start the process with NECO all over? " " "
'WAEC Examination Results *Not Accepted
Reason: WES received your document, but it was not sent directly from the appropriate examining body or institution that awarded your degree/diploma. Instructions: Please ask the institution that awarded your qualification or the appropriate examining body to send your academic document to WES in a sealed envelop that is stamped or signed across the back flap by the appropriate official. If you have already contacted the appropriate body, no action is necessary at this time. Refer to Required documents."
Pls has any one encountered this kind of issue before? Did you scan a send a copy of your certificate to WES. If yes that is Why if not. Maybe the document got to them from WES and the flap was open or seal broke. |
