What's the duration?

it will be very hard to see a Chartered Accountant with such years of experience for that salary in Lagos. even fresh graduate with ICAN go just manage the money and leave ur organization as soon as he/she sees better offer.

if ASUU can't resume physically, they should resume virtually for we to just move on.

Students are damn tired of being stagnant academically.

I'm a 100l student of a reputable university here in Nigeria,(studying Food science and technology)
I was tired of Staying home due to the previously called off ASUU Strike, So I decided to buy College of Nursing Ibadan Form,
I've done all necessary things.
So since Strike is over, I'm in the middle of which one to choose, because I'm afraid ASUU might embark on another strike later as time is not my side, I'm 22(A female),
I need help from You guys, also people who studied nursing in colleges should assist me of what is like in labour market.

that side of u falling sick whenever u stopped taking tramadol is so true. I av experienced such before too(Although I didn't know it was an hard drug). I didn't go to that extent of urs but I nearly lost my life when I stopped using it too but Glory be to God I didn't die.

Another best way to sharp your brain is exercise and that's what I'm using now.

The national leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has directed it's branches nationwide to conduct congress meetings tomorrow Monday 21st December.

The meetings are expected to vote on a referendum to either extend or suspend the ongoing nationwide strike embarked upon by the union since March this year.

Remember the union had a 5 hour closed door meeting with government representatives on 17th December.

did it end in deadlock or why was the outcome not reveal?

CONUA just need to resume academic activities by January since ASUU are not showing any sign of seriousness.

can someone tell me why they always make their meeting schedule secretive?

I pray for positive outcome in today's meeting so that we can resume by January by God's grace.

you can bro, with determination, commitment, mixing with right people, getting of relevant materials and prayer for wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

I'm a testimony to this. I could remember I didn't know accounting in my secondary school days and I wanted to study accounting and with the help of all those mentioned above, I knew accounting that I I was the 8th best candidate out of around 260+ in my poly days.

I'm now a finalist in public university with good academic standing and I'm done with ICAN. Glory be to God.

I could see most people supporting ASUU on this matter are not students. so they don't know what it takes to be at home this kind period.

they are either ASUU members or those that experienced strike while in school. so they want us to feel what they felt in their school days.

that's the best thing to me just to clear the air to know who is actually deceiving who. they av received their salary up to June that they didn't work for and they were promised to receive the remaining one if they resume work. wetin them want again?

if they resume work and government didn't fulfil their promises, then students will know who to protest against.

hope u know CONUA members are in some schools already? and if not for Covid-19, I'm very sure OAU CONUA members will not the strike and it won't affect our academic activities

for the strike to come to and end soon, since FG said they have paid ASUU members salaries up to June and nothing was said by ASUU to negate that, so I will suggest ASUU should resume back to work by giving government ultimatum on when the remaining agreements will be implemented. And if FG refuse to meet up with the ultimatum, then we will know who the true lier is.

that was one of those issues ASUU raised initially but now thay ain't talking about owing of salary again but implementation of FG conditional proposals.

is FG still taking steps to get CONUA registered this month? because with the lingering of this ASUU strike, getting CONUA registered on time is one of the means to ensure lectures commence in public universities by January.

I was expecting ASUU to deny that FG didn't pay their salary up to June 2020 but nothing of such was said. it's becoming clearer who the perpetrators are.
