It's a valid analogy. You just don't get it. Evolution does not posit change per se, but GRADUAL INCREMENTAL CHANGES OVER TIME. Think of it like the Nokia 3310, it ''evolved'' over time to the more sophisticated smartphones we have today. It did not become that that way in a day so you don't expect the 3310 to disappear overnight. It will eventually go out of existence totally. But it will take TIME.
