And Air Peace didn't purchase any plane from Boeing directly did it? You dey mind them. I'm 100% sure he's guilty. Let him take his "facts" to US. Let's see if he'll come back. |

Ekene161829: I did something I really regret. My wife and I have an amazing marriage, 2 years of marriage and we are blessed with a 7-month-old baby girl.
She is 28 and I almost 33. Last Saturday I got invited to go out by some of my work friends , I got home late 2am, so madam wasn't happy. She was yelling at me, throwing hands and screaming at me. I ignored her and left the room to the living room but she followed me and I asked her to leave me alone but she kept going which made me angry.
I took the back of my hand and gave her a slap on the mouth. She cried out and held her face and started crying and her lips was bleeding. I didn't intentionally hurt her, I just wanted to calm her down since ignoring her was not working. I said sorry, and I was literally on my knees begging her. I tried to hold her but she refused. The rest of the night was me repeating apology or i didn't mean to hurt you. She ignored me . She went into our room and locked the door.
She was in there for a long time and the next morning, her mother and older brother was at the house and she came out of the room with her and our baby stuff and she said she was leaving me for good. I told her how sorry I was but her mother told me to get out of their faces and they left the house.
I feel so ashamed and I've never done anything like this before and I never thought I would. I don't want to loose my wife and baby. I need both of them back. Should I attempt to contact her?
What do I do? Unless there are underlying issues you are not revealing here. If this is the only thing that happened, lock up. Don't call them again, don't pick their calls until they bring your wife back. Then warn them her brother and mother never to interfere in your marriage again. Take your power back. How can they come to tell you rubbish in your house. Abi you dey collect food from them. Cause I don't see why any man who is in charge of his affairs would be worried over this little thing. Na you be first man to come by 2am? |

LilMissFavvy: How would you have felt if it was your wife who hanged out with her friends and came back by 2am? Any married man or woman who does things without considering the other partner is immature or simply wicked. Your wife's brother should have slapped you back, or is he a weak man? He should have slapped you ensuring that you bleed from your mouth and nose. As for your wife, continue to call her, send messages, give her more time, she will heal and return to you. It's very shameful that her brother was there and did not defend her, by slapping the st-pi---y outta your brains. You are a fool. |

Travel › Re: Peace Mass Transit Reacts To The Accident That Killed "18" Passengers by Ranchhoddas: 4:24pm On Dec 13, 2019 |
SarkinYarki: Always reacting instead of improving ..Peace transport has killed over 10 thousand Nigerians since inception yet the govt still allows them to keep recruiting quacks as drivers Dude you are smarter than this. Accidents happen quite frequently in Nigeria but the transporters are never named. It's only because peace mass has grown so much that's why their accidents become headlines. Do you know the number of peace buses that run everyday? Hundreds, probably thousands. How frequently do they get accidents? Not very frequently if you compare it the thousands of kilometers they cover compared to others. Air crashes get more coverage than road accidents even when we know that more far more people die on the road than on the air. It's the same reason Dangote trucks get more coverage than other trucks when they are involved in accidents. Peace mass accidents are being measured against the rest of the transporters combined so you think their accidents rates are higher. We know planes are safer than other means of transport because of the measure of flier miles per fatality. Peace mass probably has more kilometers per fatality than any other transporter because of the number of their buses. It is just bad belle that make people to say nonsense. There is no transporter that you can say is empirically safer than peace. None. I spent time typing this because I know you are smarter than most people here. |

Politics › Re: Do You Have Power Supply In Your Vicinity? by Ranchhoddas: 1:27am On Dec 13, 2019 |
Rosskiki: Oh sure, I'm schooling you. It will take 100 billion dollars and 20 yrs MINIMUM for Nigeria to have stable power. FACT. So anything else you say, from ''feeling shame'' - a daft reaction since it's not a crime to be poor - to cursing the govt or people of Nigeria, to calling Nigeria a 'shithole' etc etc is a worthless, fruitless exercise.
What folks like you should be doing is devising little ways to provide electricity to small communities here and there via sola, wind, waste, biogas, and other renewable energy sources. The electricity shortage is actually a huge opportunity for sharp entrepreneurs. You could set up a school to train people in renewable energy, and make it big. You could set up a small wind farm that powers 50 to 100 homes. Again, big money for you. See how much better that is than sitting somewhere feeling 'shame' that Nigeria has power issues, and abusing the government? Nonsense. Any nation that is still battling power in 2020 is a failed nation. A country that has been enjoying oil revenue for half a century cannot comfortably generate 5,000 MW of electricity without grid failure everytime. It is this thief thief mentality that has made people like you claim that we need $100 billion to make power. The three gorges dam in China is the largest dam in the world. It generates 22, 000 MW of electricity. This is more than double what we need to meet our power needs. It was constructed at a cost of roughly 30 billion dollars. Initial estimates were even less but cost rose as construction went on. What stakeholders if not thieves like you came to a 100 billion dollar conclusion for a country that requires less than 15,000MW to meet its needs? Let me tell you. Power is basic, so fundamental that any serious group of people will get it right within a short period. Ghana did not always have light. They got serious and made it work. If they were quoting big figures like you they would have still been in the same place as you. With the way the average Nigerian state of mind operates, even a trillion dollars will not be enough for them to fix power. You are telling me that if the entire American or German apparatus of state were allowed to handle Nigeria's power they will require two decades and 100 billion dollars fix it? Shame on you. Foolish patriot. |

Food › Re: Does Mixing Alcoholic Drinks With Non-Alcoholic Drinks Reduce Effect? by Ranchhoddas: 11:15pm On Dec 08, 2019 |
Simplyleo: That is the percentage per unit volume. Or concentration, in chemistry term.
If you dilute it, what you get is reduced concentration but the alcoholic content remains intact.
E.g. dissolve 10 cubes of sugar in 100 ml of water. Also dissolve same 10 cubes in 1 litre of water. The 100ml sugar solution is sweeter than the 1 litre sugar solution but that doesn't change the fact that you have taken 10 cubes of sugar if you drink either of them completely. This is not true. Chemical reactions mean that something can change from one state to another. If a diluted drink can no longer make you as tipsy then it is not that same drink. If you were to write the equation for the reaction would the reactants not be different from the products? A change in the number of molecules affects the molecular structure, meaning that the what you have is actually something else. That's why your sugar drink will be less sweet when you add too much water. Water is a chemical too. By adding water you have initiated a chemical reaction between the molecules of sugar and H20. What you get is not exactly the same. It cannot be the same. Change is chemical structure effects a change in physical properties; in this case taste. |

JayCynic: Don't be offended but I find this style a bit corny, I mean that's what everyone does and that's what is done in most Nigerian movies. I can't get myself to complement a girl's name, its awkward(like a name is simply a name) and I think it also sounds flirty when you compliment every move. But Thanks anyways I don't like the idea of complementing a name too. I will only talk about her name if her name is uncommon or exotic. There has to be something worth talking about. |
