In filling the ITA forms, the place where they asked if one has had any serious disease or mental illness, does not have to declare tuberculosis.

The tuberculosis was in 1999 and was successfully treated

I intend applying for EE and using my wife as primary applicant as she has advantages both age wise and masters degree from a foreign university.

I want to find out if it is mandatory i do an ECA as well

Mehn that was more harrowing than my interview. They stopped me at immigration, asked how I was going to survive on the small money in my bank account and I was like I’ll do my friends hair for money. Who knew that was illegal? LOL. Anyway, they put me in detention room, mat on the floor, no communication devices, I couldn’t even flush my own toilet, had to bang on the door for many minutes for the guard to flush it from outside. 12 hours later they put me on a plane back to Lagos. I planned to fight it later cos they handled it very badly and I think they were trying to placate me with the luxury treats but it’s fine, I’ll soon become a Canadian so who cares about America? Also I’d been going to America every year for like 15 years at this point so I was like this is how you treat your loyal customers? Issorai. The guy said I hadn’t committed a crime yet but he was punishing me for my intent to commit a crime that’s why he gave me the lowest ban of 5 years. I was like thanks?

The problem with Accra visa office is not wickedness but capacity constraints . I've spent quite a lot of idle time on canada.ca, justice.ca and all kinds of .ca. It has been interesting reading inspection and audit reports and seeing the development of the immigration program.

When you keep calling CIC, sending mails and disturbing MP Ralph Goodale, you are only aggravating yourself and the people you are disturbing. They can only give you status update, they cant or wont do anything to fast-track the processsing of your application.
