Dude it's either you become a reverend father or you get married, either way one is compulsory. It is rather than staying single & fornicating. People on here understood what I meant, I don't know why you had to bring up this issue
You are partially wrong there. Its not necessary to be a Rev Father for you to be celibate. For heavens sake, you can decide not to marry and not to have any sexual stuff. Am not saying its easy, but its possible and certainly does not need the 'Rev Father' thing.

Ladies and Gentlemen, come in, let us discuss.
I was watching a tele relationship show and one of the participants in the show said that the reason why the rate of unmarried ladies is growing is that the "HUSBAND MATERIAL" young men are Scarce.
Just drop your opinions, do you agree to that?
I agree and disagree. While its true that most men may not look like the 'husband material', the fact is that ladies are usually looking at the wrong places for the wrong reasons. Many Ladies who are looking for husband material are not even wife material to begin with- they are usually after ready-made men and can't take young, hustling men seriously and wait for them. Just check NL and you will see at least a post wailing about the troubles of women. When such a man is made, he won't want to leave all he 'struggled' for because of one woman and would rather prefer to enjoy his wealth anyhow he likes.

Secondly, a lot of 'husband material' already found their 'wife material' who have stayed with them since their hustling days. You expect them to drop such ladies for a new 'wife material' just because husband material' is scarce? Definitely No.

Add to this the careful spice of tribal traditions and family history ( or ties), plus both the man and woman peculiarities, then Husband material becomes very scarce.

Lastly, the economy is f*cking everyone up!

RomanceRe: 5 Reasons Why You Should Not Date/marry A European,australian,american Woman by rapmike(m): 9:30pm On Nov 25, 2015
Strahovski:
I have seen a lot of people on Nairaland who are members of #TeamForeignGirls. .... it's a good thing and a good experience but trust me it's not so good as you think. .

Disclaimer: I'm not in anyway supporting Nigerian Ladies or Promoting them (wtf?) !You can marry or date an indian (still foreign) or Asian. I'm not supporting Nigerian Women.

1) Racism:- If you think racism is extinct you are making a big mistake. In the heart of Europe, Racism is so much that even if you are rich, you would regret approaching a European lady unless you are Caucasian.

2) Female Domination In Marriage: In my country, According to Law, women are the boss in the marriage. Not the man. You are the boss as a man according to your bible not the law. The woman can sue you for not giving her what she wants but you cannot sue her. She can sue you for cheating you can't sue her for cheating. Infact we, the males are still protesting for an amendment of that policy.

3) The Negro Vs Caucasian Offspring:- One of my distant cousins in Nigeria married an Australian(he is a Nairalander too). They are happy though but there is a problem. They have two kids. One is Negro (After him), One is Caucasian (After the mother)... The other one who is Caucasian is always bullying or intimidating the other who is Negro. The parents are cool but the kids ain't cool. So that is one thing you have to work to fix.

4) The Green Card Threat: When you marry a woman from the EU or America you get a free Citizenship based on Marriage. Of course no one wants to leave in Nigeria... who does? After flying to America or Eu and spending about 3 years with your wife and even gotten a job with your citizenship. . She begins to threaten you with a divorce. If things don't go her way, she threatens divorce. And once divorce is signed and stamped your citizenship is revoked dear. That's what many don't know. They think it's permanent. It only stands if the wife Dies. But divorce.... go back to your country. It all boils down to racism.

5) Poor Communication and Lifestyle: There is nothing like marrying from your home. How many women from these places marry Africans? The both of you have a different culture and lifestyle which can affect the home and children upbringing.

You can still give it a try though. It's fun and full of adventure but the downsides are not fun at all.

But if you still want an Australian Woman, come in Castle Rock in Sydney . So many beautiful ladies as long as you are rich!

But my final advice is to marry from your home. Sure there are crazy women but somewhere at a corner.. there are great women you can marry in your country.
See, Marriage is as strange an institution as magic. In the modern world( especially in Europe and America, but also in Africa) nobody wants to be cheated. To be frank with those criticising the OP, I have heard of cases when Foreign women use the laws of their countries to get rich by suing their husbands or filing for divorce. That for one is a reason why I will find it extremely hard to marry a foreign woman. Their laws makes it too easy for their women to unfairly acquire wealth.

That said, Nigerian men can be terrible and there are crazy Nigerian Women. Crazy Nigerian Women who use charms and the likes on their husbands and do whatever all in the name of insecurity makes one think of staying alone.

In conclusion, there are good and bad women, whether Foreign or Nigerian. We will just hope that we marry the good ones and raise our kids well.

No 1 and 3 are very important. There are ladies and men who nowadays cheat simply because they don't love their spouses enough, irrespective of behavior. Then its only God that knows the heart of a man, any of the two men can disappoint.

Btw, is the unemployed man searching for a job? What are his future plans? He must begin to think about it and act on that, for no responsible babe will stick with an unemployed man who has no plans for the future.
RomanceRe: Help!!! The Pain Of A Confuse Beautiful Lady, "True Life Story. by rapmike(m): 4:01pm On Nov 22, 2015
Its a very tough one for her. My advice is this:

1) She should be sincere with herself and ask who she is ready to live and love. I don't know any of them and people change over time. If her young doctor loses his job in the future nko? Would she cope with him?
2) She should try to find out EXACTLY why her parents and pastor is recommending the doctor. Is it because he displays certain characters in church or what? Is her pastor really looking out for her or he is after her parents interest?
3) She should pray to God about it. I don't know how spiritual she is but I know that its a sure way of knowing who is right for her; if she receives a reply from God for real.

PoliticsA Poor Attitude Africans Show Onto Their Own. by rapmike(op): 6:53pm On Nov 18, 2015
While the world was mourning the destructive disaster (which could have been worse), Reno Omkri, a Twitter Personality took a swipe at Africans who changed their DPs and status in order to publicise the bombing, implying that if it was an African country, there will be not much furore.

Obviously his comments looked out of place that day but considering the Yola bombings of yesterday and the bombings in Kano, he seems to have a strong point, as even Nigerians failed to take it personal and offer their support to those affected. A few of us made comments here and there but it ends there.

I begin to ask myself, is it that Africans lack empathy towards their own? Someone did mention that bombings have been occurring in Nigeria, so we have become used to it. If that's the case, what happened when malls in Nairobi got bombed in Kenya some years back? Was the noise and attention as much as what France received? Were Africans even sympathetic to their plight? (It sounds harsh but to be fair, Kenya is a top tourist destination in Africa and if it was a European country, it would have received much attention).

But it does not end there. Watch the treatment of an outsider (either European or American) and compare them to how Africans are treated in the same situation by their government, then you will begin to see the difference. Even Asians are treated better by Africans compared to fellow Africans. From those who visit to those who come here to 'invest', preferential treatment is given to those folks compared to our very own Africans.

I now begin to wonder why this is so and honestly am baffled to bits. What makes them that special compared to Africans? Are they really that superior that we can offer all the sympathy for them when they face misfortune but have little or none for our own people? Or is it a general wickedness that is peculiar in Africa? Do we just support and show solidarity with them for popularity sake ( make I do like say I sabi the latest) or was this just one of those moves ( Like #SaveOurGirls campaign)?

Whatever it was, we have to face our own quarters and pour ourselves into it. We have issues and threats and even if we did not support France or offer sympathy, it will not in any way affect them. France can cope with its sorrows, let Africa faces hers before it completely destroys us.
