dairykidd:I didn't want to insult him cos it is obvious he can't counter my points without insulting me even though he knows I have a right to my opinion. Now u wonder why he doesn't see anything wrong in calling the NPF out on this Interpol election because he doesn't respect the rights of others. So imagine people like him being member of the NPF, your guess is as good as mine. |
seunmsg:Am very okay. You can't compare the judicial system in that country with ours. You can't also compare their policemen with ours. Let us face the truth. The NPF lacks accountability that is all. The black lives matter is not just about police brutality but racial discrimination. How do we explain that a fellow black policeman in Nigeria brutalizes his own countrymen? Please this #EndSars is not the same with #Blacklives matter. Thank you. |
Big boys. Please for all the provocations the protesters must remain peaceful. Don't give the government reasons to turn the table. |
falseprophet:Hmmm could that be the reason armed robbers were employed as SARS members? Cos I am very sure we have ex-convicts in the ranks of NPF. Someone once said, they were mostly employed during Tafa Balogun's tenure. |
If a Nigerian is elected, I will finally give up on America and other super powers' ability to hold some failed countries accountable. For several years the NPF have been denying human rights abuse allegations levelled against them from both local and international observers. This #EndSars protest has finally nailed their coffin. So this Interpol election has come at an inauspicious time for the NPF. No hiding place anymore. |
By now they should have known sending hoodlums to stop protesters is a failed strategy. The protest is a movement and only those who key into it will benefit. Government should key into it. |
Youngjohnosas:This is not good for the movement. The Edo People should suspend the protests for safety reasons |
This one weak me today |
The Bini ppl go spoil this protest. Let them be civilized before they give government excuse to declare 24 hours curfew. The type Buhari declared when covid-19 was strong |
Federal government have come again o. Which one is fund for compensating victims of brutality? Nigerian leaders don't joke with anything money they will embezzle it. * The panel of inquiry on police brutality should only receive money after the conclusion of every case of brutality brought to them. * Any security agent found to have violated human rights should lose part of their wages to the victims. A careless policeman may end up using his salaries to settle compensation. That way, they will be serious. |
Na wa. For the government to have the guts to sponsor a counter protest, it means they have gained some grounds. It is either due to the fact that they feel they have attended to the protesters' demands and feel no need more more protest, or they have truly bribed their way with the social media influencers and now feel they have the moral right to fight back or they feel the protests have been hijacked by opposition elements and they want to deal with them politically (thuggery). |
Stop!!! Please! Please! Please! We don't need any opposition member to get involved in this #EndSARS matter. We don't want the government to use that opportunity to politicise it. So far so good, the protest has gained momentum because of its apolitical nature. We all know politicians don't have the interest of the masses at heart. |
Now that schools re to resume u guys want to start increasing the figures? Anyway Nigerians will protest any attempt to lockdown again. They now have experience on how to protest. |
That is the Modus operandi of naija politicians |
I said it. Shortly after the Edo election, I predicted APC will win this one because the circumstances are different. But one blind guy here instead of reading my lines logically claimed I was an APC member. I noticed many peeps here can't argue decently without insulting people. Such a shame! |
Ganduje just trying to impress the presidency always. But he must know that Kano people are brave. Two of his appointees have sacrificed their exalted positions on the alter of freedom of speech this year alone. That should tell him the kind of men working with him. In a saner clime, it shows those men could be trusted with public office but in Nigeria, we celebrate mediocrity over meritocracy. Yakassai is the MVP of this protest. For being that lonely voice in the far away indifferent Northern Nigeria. |
Please disregard these clowns they don't speak for northern youths. The end SARS campaign is a demand for justice among security agencies, holding government accountable and against the general anomaly plaguing our society. That, it is tagged #endsars is just a driving force. They should not see it from that narrow point of view that the protest is about NPF alone. |
They should just make life easy for the citizens. that's all! |
That is why it is not good to take substances that can make you high until you re mature enough to control your emotions. How could you beat your gf so bad? Tomorrow now he will be shouting end SARS. But what is the difference between him and those barbarians? And I hope that young woman will not text him later to demand that they get back? Cos sometimes naija gals are wired in crazy ways. We may see them together again tomorrow. |
Please we re busy with SARS now come back later |
It is going viral. I think NLC can see that Nigerians can stand if they wish to? The police should kindly allow the protests to hold so that they can have constructive engagement with the Nigerian youths. But then, NPF is blind, deaf, dumb and brutal. They hate civil engagement. All they know is use of force. As a young person, I share in their course. Though am not able to join, it is a shame on me but I am with them in spirit. Buhari should address the nation ASAP but then, he is an absentee president so he doesn't know what is going on real time. He will talk after the protesters have retired to their homes. |
Good move |
I prefer Nigerians from other European leagues to naija boys in English leagues. Our football here is not just kick and run. So people with football sense elsewhere will suit our national team. |
This one loud |
Yes. I noticed this from the restart at the tail end of last season. So they simply continued from where they stopped. Players feel they are in their normal training sessions. No burden, no booing. I was certain that if fans were at old Trafford on Sunday, they would have invaded the pitch to rescue Manchester United when the humiliation was getting out of hand. |
Agbaya |
Good |
Tomtomy98:Is Roma bigger than Man utd historically? |
No be lie. That IPPIS platform is not the ultimate means of payment. Government can work out a new and transparent platform with ASUU to bring lasting peace. People in accountant general's office still manage to illegally use IPPIS to enrich themselves allegedly. |
Smalling making a small movement to a smaller club |
NPF must be loving the way they re trending these days. In naija nothing trends for more than a week. Once the Ondo election draws nearer these noise will fizzle out. |
Until we see them charged to court, we won't believe anything. |
