Osita Chidoka President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday inaugurated former Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Osita Chidoka, as the new Minister of Aviation. Chidoka replaces Stella Oduah, who was sacked by Jonathan on February 12th, 2014 after a series of investigative reports done by Saharareporters exposed her involvement in a web of certificate scandals, as well as the scandalous purchase of two BMW armored cars for $1.6 million. Also sacked with Oduah on the day, even though it was disguised as voluntary resignations, were Minister of the Niger Delta, Elder Godsday Orubebe; Minister of Police Affairs retired Navy Captain Caleb Olubolade, and Minister of State for Finance, Yerima Ngama. After swearing in Chidoka just before the Federal Executive Council began its meeting, Jonathan announced the replacement of Chidoka as FRSC boss with Boboye Oyeyemi, who until now was Deputy Corps Marshal. Dr. Suleman Abubakar was also named as the Minister for National Planning; Abubakar was lecturer at the University of Abuja. He will simultaneously work as Deputy Chairman of the National Planning commission |

Pavore9: How good is he and where has he executed projects? l love patronizing local skills that can deliver.Well I can only say of the work I see on ground that he's done. Currently managing a farm for a Dutch guy in shagamu. He constructed the green house, though he told me he can use half of what the oyibo used to construct greenhouse for me when I need it. (Like 500k to construct it locally for me) Visited your site again today, was inspired by the teacher. Infact this is what I need at this moment as I am recovering from lost over 700k invested on pepper and cucumber, its not funny but am learning and getting enough inspiration from you. Thank you, while hoping that we can replicate that Kenyan experience here |
boluwajokosegun: @Pavore9, Thanks there is none yet in Nigeria , that is why i need you to send me a mail so that we can talkI know of guy that can construct green house, though currently working with a Dutch guy at Shagamu, he's good. |
Pavore9: I am doing good (like kenyans love replying) I was just straight up with the guy. From my expenditure on food here in kenya, l know feeding in Nigeria is expensive, the banana l pay N100 for here in Nairobi is N250 in Lagos. lf l go to one vegetable market around here with N100 l buy cabbage, carrot, cucumber, green pepper and lrish potatoes l use for my salad, this l can not attempt in Nigeria.Wow! Can't wait to see that will be following on your site too |

Nonybb: Oby Ezekwesili is a confused Propagandist profiting from Nations woes and calamities. She is neither here nor there. So joblessIts easy for you to sit at the comfort of your home and type gibberish, what have you done to right the wrong of our society? |
hipinnacle: I get dumbfounded atimes when we ar raising the issue of impart and national development cum building a network of like-minds to hasten progression & industrialization of agric. sector & some people ar still carried away wt the frivolities of national cake sharing or petty disguise to cheat others. we ar nt all born to chase materialistic things but to make imparts. our focus must b for us to b change agents because we cant continue 2 do things this same way & expect great result. no way! it is time we start bothering ourselves wt building our sphere of influence. we ar nt talking abt personal success here but our role to help our nation economy wax stronger.Truth you just said here, but you cannot ignore what Aguiyi said, its better we raise all questions and have it all sorted out before you tell "story that touch" am typing from experience. So please don't be offended with his questions because you will still meet it along the line of this journey you started |
Dexpro: Another deal struck with a Nlander! This is good, please when is this offer going to last, as our watermelon is at infancy, what other fruit do you buy we have cucumber |
Pavore9: You are right. people are scared to try something different.Hi Pavore9, how are you doing today? Visited your site the other, was amazed at what people do with agriculture, especially the guy that makes money from rabbit urine. I wonder if such organisation will ever operate here in Nigeria. Am even tempted to come to Kenya to see the guy that's something with strawberry. Lest I forget your input is always insightful am enjoying it. Love what you told the export guy, simply the TRUTH for now. Thanks |
GodMode: Firstly, the religious books (bible, koran and any other religious book out there) are a script written by a group of critical thinkers that's why there's always a new version. What then do you attach to the one created heaven and earth, the one who made you? |
Pavore9: Use it and you see your skin glowing like a new born baby's!Thanks man, I appreciate! |
Pavore9: Of course the market is there especially women who will love to bathe with it! Goat milk is expensive, l get it here for N390 per litre!Bathe with it? Is there any medicinal values? Lord! Man no know anything yet o! The masters are here really! |
Pavore9: l did visit a goat diary farm run by some Reverend Sisters, they are stocked with German Alpine & Toggenburg breeds, about 47 in all. Each goat produces an average of 5.25litre of milk daily! They use it in their hospital for their patients.Wow! Bro is this happening in Nigeria? To think that we waste this opportunity in the east is quite disheartening, time to re plan ones strategy. Keep it flowing am in on this Goat and Cow thing no going back |

Truth is anyone that supports Oshomole on this is beyond redemption. Let's assume the woman was wrong, and he doesn't want to show mercy, he should have allowed the appropriate authorities to deal with her rather than telling her to go and die. Take her to court and fine her instead of using some gutter words on the hapless woman |
This is the change APC promised us |
I don't if this is the appropriate place to place this but this is what I just got from Punch this evening. Biggest Joke to me. 22nd November, 2013 Home Power investors suspend prepaid meter scheme November 22, 2013 by Dayo Oketola 12 Comments Chairman, Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, Dr. Sam Amadi Consumers have continued to groan about poor power supply after the takeover of the assets of the defunct Power Holding Company of Nigeria by private investors. The situation has been exacerbated with the suspension of the Credited Advance Payment for Metering Implementation initiated by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission to close the metering gap and curb ‘crazy billing’ in the system. It was learnt on Thursday that of the 10 distribution companies in the country, only Ikeja and Eko electricity distribution companies had adopted the CAPMI scheme as a response to customers’ complaints about estimated billing. While the other Discos have yet to adopt the metering scheme, indications emerged on Thursday that the new owners of the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company, NEDC/Kepco Consortium, had suspended the pre-paid meter scheme. The scheme had been inaugurated a week before the company was handed over to NEDC/Kepco in a partnership with six local meter manufacturers: MOMAS System Nigeria Limited, MOJEC Group of Companies, Chemo-technics Limited, MBH Power Limited, Unistar Hi-tech System Limited and First Global Excel Resources. But a source at the company, who asked not to be named, told our correspondent that the scheme had been cancelled. “The new owners have cancelled the CAPMI scheme. They said they had their own metering strategy,” the source said. However, when contacted, the Chairman, NEDC /Kepco Consortium, Mr. Kola Adesina, denied that the metering scheme had been cancelled. Rather, he said the scheme was suspended to enable the Disco to complete a reassessment of the entire system. He explained that if the scheme was considered efficient enough and in tandem with the new investors’ plan, it would be retained. He said, “We are going through a process of re-assessment of the system. We want to assess the quality and efficiency of the metering scheme. We are re-evaluating it but we have not cancelled anything. “As investors, we need to look at where we are going and also consider whether the metering scheme will get us to where we are going. However, if it will not get us to where we are going, we will drop it.” Similarly, a source at the Eko Distribution Company, who asked not to be named, said the pre-paid meter scheme was still on as of Thursday but doubted its eventual survival. He said the Disco might dump the CAPMI scheme for its own metering programme. At the introduction of the scheme in March 2013, the NERC Chairman, Dr. Sam Amadi, noted that CAPMI would eliminate the issue of estimated billing. Meanwhile, our correspondent on Thursday learnt that power supply across the country had remained poor. This, consumers said, had been a source of worry because they expected a steady improvement of the situation with the entry of the private investors. Although the Presidential Task Force on Power put the power generation at 3,600.90 megawatts as of November 20, 2013, consumers decried the erratic power supply and persistent outages. The Principal Associate, Mobile Money Africa, Mr. Emmanuel Okoegwale, said power supply had been erratic in the last three weeks around his Surulere office in Lagos. “The power situation has gone from bad to worse since the private investors took over. I use inverters to supplement what I get from the PHCN and I use that to tell when public power supply is stable or not. In view of this, I can tell you that the power supply in my office has been particularly erratic in the last three weeks,” he said. A visibly angry Okoegwale said he had concluded the plan to relocate his office from the area largely due to the poor power supply. Similarly, the Chief Executive Officer, Royale Prestige Properties, Mr. Seun Akinyele, who lives at Ikeja, decried the poor electricity supply in spite of the high consumer expectations from the new investors. “We have not been enjoying electricity supply since these new owners took over. I don’t know what is happening,” he lamented. An artisan, Mr. Banji Adebayo, who relies on regular electricity supply for his business, also said no appreciable improvement had been experienced in power supply in the Yaba area of Lagos, where he works. Mr. Shakirudeen Folorunsho, who runs a barbing salon in Ikeja, also expressed disappointment at the abysmal power supply in his area since the new investors took over. The Chief Executive Officer, Ikeja Disco, Mr. Abiodun Ajifowobaje, during a recent forum, had said there were over 600,000 customers under the distribution area and gave their power requirement as 900MW. He, however, said the Disco had been getting only 300MW from the Transmission Company of Nigeria, a pointer to the problem of massive load shedding that had bedeviled the sector as a result of low capacity. PDP is corrupt! PDP is corrupt!!! Yet APC is after those same men that made PDP stink. Is it for scarcity of leaders with integrity or what, while do I not care whatever happens to both parties am only interested in individuals, I mean personalities with monumental heart for change. Not all this incurable kleptomaniacs parading themselves as agents of change. Having said that, anything short of a fashola from APC is a no no for me. Though his party smells to high heaven, but he has managed to show some traces of a leader. Aside him GEJ can continue!!! Well my one cent though! |
Ah Nigerians! Ever living in denial, with the amount of people shouting GUS here one wonders how this south Africans make money off Nigerians. |
Helloo anybody here!! Please am interested in the cooperative but since they said you must be a distributor before being a member of the cooperative so how do I become a distributor? |
