Dear Keyamo, take heart this is Nigerian politics 101, its a different terrain here, unfortunately this your folks are the one gearing up to wrestle power from PDP. Am so sorry for your troubles, but you now see that Nigerian problem is beyond egbe onu (mouth gun) |
My tears for my homeland, we are sold "ito kobo" what a shame!! My prayer still remains that my thoughts will be disappointed |
In all these I blame Peter Obi, what is so flamboyant in his achievement that he ll choose to ignore the right choise. I see a calculated effort to slight Soludo. Either out of sheer hatred or inferiority complex, but time will tell, in the mean time APGA is dead with this short sighted decisions. I am moving on to Ngige with hope that somehow APGA will miraculously find their rythm |
Obviously its a requiem for APGA, though personally I will not support soludo going to court but anything to get back to the ring will be appreciated. For now Soludo is the chance APGA have to retain that sit, but they chose to throw that away, its their funeral. May I suggest in the absence of Soludo we should rally round Ngige. Pdp should and their cohort should kiss Anambra goodbye |
Now that we are here, what can we do to help, it is obvious that majority (including me) here want him to be the next governor of Anambra state. But we must go beyond the euphoria of joining APGA and work towards his success, not only at the election also when he finally assumes office. What can we do to help, I ask again because most of us here might be Anambrans residing outside the state and minds of the people on ground are not the same. During the last election I called my elder brother who is based in Onitsha to ask how the election is going and to know how he intends to vote. Infact I asked him how is soludo doing, he asked back immediately WHO is soludo. My point here is that intellectuals might want a Soludo but what of the market men and women who do not understand how a Soludo is wired. The truth is that Soludo will not want to play politics of bags of rice but will keep up the message of his VISION of dubai of Africa, not many ll flow with him. Umu nnem ka anyi nyeru nwanne anyi aka ka obodo anyi di mma, ogwu nu ka ora m n'onu. The battle is half won anyway |
Soludo all the way, imagine Akunyili combo in Anambra for APGA. Well this only happens in a dreamland, 'cos both are not in good terms and not in the same party. Another issue here is Anambra people might not go for Soludo because he will not like to play their kind Of politics |
Thanks Nefo, How much do u think the car will for someone is telling me 900k fr tokunbo what of fuel economy? |
Thanks guys I am enjoying the thread, please I want to know more on S60 because am getting one fr myself. Things like the fuel economy, maintenance, durability and the cost |
What beats me is why grown men should be pursuing rat while the house is on fire. Ok let's take Fayemi's account of the story we have 36 governors 2 were absent that means 34 remaining so why is he telling us 35. Hope no one will tell me this typographical error. No wonder massive failure in jamb results an no one is saying addressing that erosion in our education all they are after is chairman of NGF which has no constitutional value. Shame on them. |
This is just stupidity raised to the power2, truely am very ashamed of this. How did we degenerate this far, BIGOTRY in the house of God? I opened this thread thinking the bishop-elect must have committed one thing or the other, but this is far from my mind. Well not too surprised with mbaise people, where every family boast of producing catholic priest. In tHe east mbaise should have the highest number of priests, but corruption in catholic church stems from their homes. Hypocrisy abound in their hearts. Tufiakwa!!! Ihere mee unu |
Please let no one bring etisalat to table here, they will continue to charge you for data usage even when you are on complete plan. To me glo looks better because wife uses it and it works faster. |
Pls how do I check if am selected |
Now who shall we believe between both liers |
Pls I need the package on domain flipping my email chukwudumifeanyi@gmail.com |
Hey remecy just did that now, and here is what came up " dear customer you have successfully deactivated your last notification .... Thank you" like I said earlier they will continue the deduction with your notice. Its bad. No news yet on portability launch |
Hello guys, today is the much awaited day of portability launch anybody here knows how to go about it, I am porting today. Who is in the same boat with me? |
@remecy, at the end of the message it gors like this "*262*2# to turn off this service, well what that means to me is to stop sending you the alert but they will be de ducting from you secretly which is worst |
@ isreal007 I guess am porting 1st thing tomorrow, do you know this guys are still sending alert of deduction even when I ve not received email and not used it for any service at all. |
Thanks guys @ onye ego thank you I ll do as u suggest but my two calls to them is suppose to have earned me a reasonable response |
Good evening nairalanders, pls I want to use this medium to compel etisalat to stop the deduction. Within this week alone I ve come realise that am just an ATM for etisalat and am sure they do it to others too. On thursday precisely I bought a BB phone just because I want to avoide the pay as use data deductions on my nokia phone, I subscribed for bis complete, I got an alert that the plan has been activated. Though the message read "Welcome to blackberry complete voice plan" pls note that before subscribing I called their helpline who told me to dial *499*3# to get my desired plan. After the welcome message I still get alert of deductions from my credit, I called their helpline again to confirm my stasus and to know why they are robbing me. After series of transfer of calls, I was assured that I am on complete data plan and was told to do on my phone to stop the credit deduction. What they said I did. Infact I did not load credit on that line untill this afternoon when I find myself in tight coner I needed to make call and I still have their unused recharge card. Immediately I loaded that without making any call I got another alert for PAYG data session. While I was fuming at that another alert came. (Even as I type this now am not using my phone I still get their alert.) I called their agent again with transfer of calls I was assured that they will look into it and that it will not happen again. Infact the deduction is really crazy as in I have to switch off the phone when I on it again its all their mesages that I get. The most anoying part now is that you cannot even reach their customer service unit again. I am using this medium because here is the only place I know I can get a voice may be somehow they will know they are hurting someone. I have called them twice and am not getting any result from them. They promised call, am yet to hear from them. What do I do now? |
ok ok now here are the problems we have to grapple with, but is there no solution in view. Can we the citizen leave the government out this and find a solution within ourselves. What is this all about, Nigerians don't like themselves, they hated outside their shores yet we still say we are giant and that's why they hate us. Pls has this got something to do with our attitude? Lets check within |
this is serious, what message is he trying to pass across? But d man should have rejected the offer now instead of exposing himself to more ridicule. Ah! When students start forging their results and certificate we should not blame them o! o ma se o! |
I guess most post here don't see this thread the way the op sees it. Billi!! Just like in the bible when people asked 'is saul now among the prophets?' with your marardonic dimples in politics lol nevertheless Billi your post got got me thinking but even the declared that we are gods. Literally speaking oh! Writing you are not just a god to the ants but you are a god to your environs, situations. You are what you believe you are! |
It gladdens my heart to hear good news from country, much more from the same mouth of the citizens. Great to know that we now see the glass half full and not half empty |
Nigerian politics defiles all possible healing, |
Aba IPP to guarantee 95% uninterrupted electricity 2013-03-29 23:00:56 The Aba Integrated Power Project on Thursday said that the plant would guarantee 95 per cent uninterrupted electricity supply. The project, which has a total installed capacity of 141 megawatts of electricity, would serve over 5,000 small and medium enterprises, industries and residents in the Aba metropolis, as well as provide excess power to be distributed to other cities outside its primary area. The Technical Adviser, Geometric Power Limited – owners of the project, Mr. Okwudiri Ehilegbu, in an interview with journalists, stated that the private-sector driven project would boost the Federal Government's plan of transforming the power sector. He said, "The Aba IPP is not just part of measures to address the power challenges in this area, but it would boost the nation's power system. This is because when we distribute power to businesses in this metropolis, the power being consumed before the IPP came on board would be sent out to other areas. Hence, it would improve electricity supply in other areas. "We are aiming at guaranteeing 95 per cent uninterrupted power supply, barring all unforeseen circumstance, and the plant will feed all Aba metropolis and its environs." The Federal Government had in 2005, during the administration of President Olusegun Obasanjo, come up with the idea of Integrated Power Projects to address the twin issues of low electric power generation and gas flaring from oil exploration in the Niger Delta region. The idea was that the project would serve as an intervention scheme to comprehensively address the state of electricity infrastructure in Nigeria. It was planned to be a fast-track approach to improving the country's electricity power supply through the implementation of generation, transmission, distribution and gas supply projects. The Aba IPP, however, was not into gas supply, Ehilegbu said. He explained that the plant had three generating turbines and each was rated 47MW, adding that two of the units were 95 per cent complete, while one was 90 per cent ready. The plant, it was learnt, would be fired up in May and start supplying power to consumers immediately. "Though this would be done in phases, it will make industries, small businesses and other consumers appreciate the privatisation of the power sector," Ehilegbu said. |
so now this will be an issue, we will leave important things and start debating which side of the bed we woke. What a waste of intellect, now I know the of Nigeria is beyond Nigerians |
like I said earlier in another thread, the problem is not GEJ, when u wake up in the morning go look yourself in the mirror, you will see the problem starring you on the face. Until you change Nigeria ain't changing. |
like I said earlier in another thread, the problem is GEJ, when u wake up in the morning go look yourself in the mirror, you will see the problem starring you on the face. Until you change Nigeria ain't changing. |
the problem of Nigeria is Nigerians, the solution is change of attitude. We are quick to point out the problem of our leaders accuse them and abuse them rightly or wrongly, but we forget one thing they are true reflection of who we are |
No buy your brain and give to her too smh! |
I guess osaze should get off this tweeter thing, chill a little and see if he can salvage his career. At this rate he is going hmmmm! He ll wake up one morning and start tweeting against himself. But this guy was not like before coming to England nawaao! |
