At last, a baby girl has my bday mate, thank you mama. Heavenly bliss upon her and d household.....

My precious little girl was born yesterday September 9th after 19 hours of intense labour (smh... now I know why they call it labour).

To think that after all my sufferhead she turned out to be a carbon copy of her Dad. Chai! Can't even find anything about her that looks remotely like me. There goes my mini me dream. It is well... lol... We thank God it ended in praise!

Mother and daughter are healthy and doing very well. Like play like play I am now someone's mother. To God be the Glory. I have never felt greater love, joy and gratitude in my heart.

In fact, after seeing and holding my little bundle of joy I totally forgot the horrific birth story. Will be back when I remember the details....

I think they are just discovering they have a part of the body called tongue. My 3 month old son does the same and in fact I was kinda looking forward to it cos my nieces and nephews did the same. I may be wrong sha

My DD did same from 1month nd I was worried at 1st but later stopped, didn't even know wen she stopped it nd she's 10month old now. She will outgrow it.

Mamas in d house, pls what could cause my 3months old DD to be sticking out her tongue?? B4 it was just d tip and she closes up when she s asleep but since 2days ago she has been sticking everything, i tried forcing her to close it but she eventually sticks everything out

Pls kip breastfeeding her if she's on ebf, if there's fever, u can take to d hosp for assessment.

She doesnt have fever and she s on ebf.
My little cousin came for a visit during d weekend and he had cough.

Yes u can..i started giving my LO guinea corn pap with infant milk from 3months...though i usually make it myself...mix guinea corn,beans,dried plantain and fish together..grind,sieve and keep it at home..and she is so healthy and strong.

Hahahahhahaah. I've told u guys pickin wey go suck go suck. They start from the womb, if u try to stop the finger, they switch to tongue. He will eventually stop sucking. So patience is the key dear. Lol

I agree with u ma, I refuse my 10wks old from sucking her fingers and she gradually switched to tongue/lips sucking

Pls mamas, my baby is 2.5months. What else can I give her apart from BM?? Was thinking of doing EBF but she sucks like there is no 2moro.....

I will come back to introduce myself shortly but right now I'm distressed.
Gave birth almost 24hrs ago and up till this point there's not a single drop of breast milk.
I have tried pap tea hot liquids etc but nothing. Baby now refuses to latch on cos nothing comes out ndy beautiful bobo is obviously hungry. I'm
almost in tears myself.

What else can I do

New Mama, pls dont worry urself. There is definitely nothing wrong with u, i didnt produce breastmilk until d 3rd day.
DD was given drops of water and she kept sucking like that till d 3rd day. Enjoy ur LO
