chidichris:
many of us here are too young to understand the country, i mean too young in reasoning. bode george is in jail but he is living a better life more than 90% of nigerians outside.
bode george stole ovr N100b and is serving a two yr term when millions of nigerians will ask for n1m to go for five yrs.
who among these celebrants is living a better life than alams? we are been used by these criminals.
the battle is not about corruption rather it is supremacy.
we all know how much pdp wasted in their efforts to take over anambra state via soludo. anambra is ojukwu's constituency while abia state is for orji uzor kalu. ibori is on his way to stabilize his ownership of delta but they can't let him be.
the idea or move here is to get nigeria under one unbrella and make it a one party system of govt in practice while on the pages of the newspapers, it will remain a multi-party system.
the only move by the efcc to the north met abokis on rampage and since then, who have heard a corrupt northern gov?
we claim a one nigeria but we have more than 100 constitutions.
The above meaningless post above reallyconfirms you squarely in the category you described in line one of your blab

ILike I said earlier,I agree with the OP who's a moronic Ibori apologist by the way, that maximum force(execution)should not be employed in making Ibori pay for his grand theft, rather we should go soflty softly on him by allowing the Met police to bundle him in chains like the common thief he is,to face trial for fraud, stealing and money laundering in the UK first, after his trial and sentencing(hopefully to life imprisonment after securing a worldwide freezing of his accounts and assets),he should be extradited to Nigeria to face the 170 and 40 count charges preferred against him by the EFCC,when he's been tried and sentenced in Nigeria,he should now be extradited back to the UK to serve his life jail term, when he dies in jail, they should put him in a coffin and chain the coffin and send the coffin to Nigeria by sea (to ensure his corpse has such a long turbulent journey back to Nigeria) so he can serve out his Nigerian sentence

Ibori in fresh trouble as MET police give EFCC conviction records

Strong indications emerged on Saturday that the former Delta State governor, James Ibori, may be in fresh trouble as the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom have given the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission court records and documents of his alleged conviction in the UK.

SUNDAY PUNCH also gathered that the Police in Dubai, United Arab Emirate have seized the former governor‘s travelling documents.
This is coming on the heels of the trip of a team of operatives from the EFCC and the MET Police to the United Arab Emirates on Friday. The EFCC team comprising lawyers, it was learnt, also went to Dubai with Ibori‘s case file and other documents to hasten the former governor‘s extradition to Britain.
Our correspondent learnt that the EFCC is planning to use Ibori‘s alleged record of conviction as one of the charges against him during his prosecution in the United Kingdom.
A security source said, ”His previous criminal conviction in the United Kingdom is definitely one of the charges against him because he lied on oath and obtained under false pretence the salary of government for eight years.
“A convict should not be a governor but he deceived the people and used his position to collect remuneration that he shouldn‘t have gotten. His travelling documents had to be seized to prevent him from sneaking out like he did in Nigeria.”
According to the source, security operatives and embassy officials are watching the ex-governor round the clock.
She said, ”We have security agents and embassy officials monitoring him. The Dubai police have assured us that he will not sneak out of their country. They assured us that they only granted him bail but he is still under ‘strict surveillance and restriction.”
Our correspondent gathered that security operatives from Nigeria, Britain and Dubai will start the extradition process on Monday.
The source said, ”The legal process of extraditing him will begin on Monday. You know that courts don‘t work on weekends. By Monday, all members of the investigating teams from Nigeria and Britain will all be in Dubai, then we will be in court to start the extradition proceedings.”
Explaining the importance of the MET Police in Dubai, the source said, “Even though we have a heap of evidence against him, there is no treaty between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates even though the treaty is under way. We are working with the MET police because the United Kingdom and Dubai have this treaty. They are the only ones that can get him for us.”
It was also learnt that after the former governor‘s extradition, he will face charges in Britain before returning to Nigeria. She added, ”When he gets to the UK, he will face all the charges he has pending before him in their court which will not take more than one month. If he is sentenced, he will not immediately serve the sentence. Ibori will be brought back to Nigeria where he will be made to face the charges here. If he is also sentenced in Nigeria, he will serve the sentence before going back to fulfil that of Britain.”
When contacted, the EFCC head, Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Babafemi, said, “All I can tell you is that our operatives have left for Dubai. We are all aware that he refused to turn himself in and thwarted all efforts by the EFCC to arrest him.
“We also know that he has a pending case in Nigeria which we cannot abandon mid way. The EFCC promises to continue with this matter using all the tools in our arsenal and bringing it to a logical conclusion.”
Ibori was last Thursday arrested in Dubai by the International Police after he was declared wanted by the anti-graft agency four weeks ago, in connection with an alleged illegal disposal of 528 million shares belonging to Delta State in Oceanic Bank.

Mourinho:I Will Coach Madrid

Jose Mourinho is making Inter sweat over his future, admitting he “will coach Real Madrid sooner or later.”

Mourinho to Real Madrid has been a well documented story in the world‘s media over the last year. And the ‘Special One‘ has spoken about his next move for life after Inter, fuelling growing speculation that he could join the Spanish giants if he wins the Champions League next week.

“What they write about me having one foot in Madrid and one in Milan is false,” Mourinho told the latest edition of Panorama magazine.

“Sooner or later I will coach Real Madrid. I coached a big team in England, I am coaching a big team in Italy, and then I will coach a big team in Spain.

“I have won everything in three countries and I don‘t need anything. But, what makes me laugh is when some presidents compare me to their own coaches who haven‘t won anything.”

Well known for his controversial views about Italy, the coach was on hand to criticise the country once again, just weeks after saying he didn‘t like Italian football.

“The hypocrisy of Calcio,  People come to me and pat me on the back and say ‘you‘re a great coach‘. But as soon as I turn my back they attack me. I don‘t like all this,” he concluded.

The real truth about this case, Is because nigeria government is know to false accuse people. You dont know if this story is true. The nigeria police false accuse people at will , if you are against any govt official. And you could get locked up for years without been taken to court and no record. They can even shoot you without any case to answer. I know nigeria newspaper claim he was against Jonathan becoming acting president. could this be the reason. I dont know. Nigeria is a funny society. if you have a problem with anyone, they can send interpol to arrest you.

I would like to see a prove against Ibori posted online.

zengurl:
This is a very funny bank. Zenith bank has refused to pay the profit sharing of the staff. The lat time this was paid was September 2008. and since then nothing nothing. Zenith bank has a very poor management staff relationship. their communication system is the poorest ever. they find it so difficult to communicate issues with staff. If there will be a delay such should be communicated to the staff. But Management in their best(silly) wisdom will decide not to talk about it at all and they feel members of staff will be happy about it.

The fraudulent nature of the staff is growing by the day. Apart from the 7.3 billion fraud that happened some weeks back. 2 weeks ago another member of staff a lady in abuja zone defrauded the bank a whooping sum of 12 million and after sent a text message to her manager saying Oga, thanks for the opportunity to serve. Just wish to tell you am gone with my entitlement. Thanks.

Why will Zenith bank not learn that staff welfare is so much important. should be placed right for better working environment and for increased profitability.

For intending employees. please think well before taking offer in zenith bank . this is absolutely not a place to be. staff you see there are still there not because they enjoy zenith bank. they are there cos they have no other option.

And for customers really dont know why you will put your money in a bank where the members of staff are not treated well. i dont think your money is safe in such bank cos all youll keep hearing about such bank is fraud fraud.
See this one dey talk of profit sharing shocked shocked shocked,at this critical time, would :oou rather you lost your job like the thousands of your fellow bankers/bank workers especially from other banks, abeggi no be by force boh,if you no like the place,RESIGN
