Hello everybody,
Pls I need info on some issues

1. How do I pay online college application fees? Do I need a domiciliary account (with Canadian dollars) ? Or how is it done?

2. Who here took the IELTS academic? Did you take classes? Does one really need classes? Where did you get study materials from?

Thank you and have a great day

Try this link:ielts-up.com
You can get all the materials needed there

thank you very much but does GTB automatically convert the dollar charge (the fee is charged in dollars) to naira and charge it to my account? I don't know how it works lol forgive my ignorance

Yes o the school I want to apply to requires TOEFL or IELTS or any other equivalents even for Canadian citizens
So pls I need more info on how important lessons are and about study materials
Thanks once again

You can write IELTS through a self study. Get a lot of material for all the modules especially speaking test but focus more on Reading and writing to get a minimum of 6. Mind you, you need a minimum overall of 6.5

Ratawu,
It's misrepresentation not misinterpretation and yes it might be the applicant submitted fake (falsified) documents.

Hello. Pls why print only the last 2 pages? Doesn't the rest of the form need to be filled?

DO YOU MEAN PAGES 1 - 17 SHOULD BE IGNORED?

Hello house, a friend of mine applied for a student permit and was placed as people who are inadmissible to canada, and the visa denied. Before she applied for the student visa her and her family had an existing temporary visit permit which they had not used. That is still valid and was not cancelled, can she still visit canada with her family with the visiting visa?

The visit visa is automatically void. She can't travel to Canada in the next 5 years
WHAT IS THE MAIN REASON FOR HER BAN?

Hello house, Please I have a few questions concerning the IMM5832E.

1. could anyone feel the form with a computer or did you have to print it out first and then feel it by hand?

2. An instruction on this form says "All documents submitted in support of your application should be original." can a certified true copy suffice?, if yes, does that mean I have to certify every document i submit like, Waec, Transcript,Birth certificate, etc.

3. The spaces that do not concern me like Spouse for instance, should i leave it blank or should I feel it "N/A"?

Thanks.

If it is online, scan the original documents and upload but if paper route, they need photocopied except all letters addressed to the embassy. VFS people will not even accept original from you.

Guys pls I have question

Me and my friend applied through a agent I submitted my application yesterday and my friend applied today

We used both used thesame agent and we both have little amount in our account so our agent used his company account as our third party sponsor

Now my question is can the embassy find out me and my friend used thesame sponsor ( although I submitted my application yesterday and my friend submitted today)

And if they find out can we be refused?

Did you tell them that you used an agent?
If not, pray that they don't give u a misrepresentation
Go through the images attached as your guide.

Hi guys.
I got the reply below from my school after I asked about payment of school fees...
My concern is about the last statement...do I still go ahead with the payment or I simply show proof in my account..
Thanks

"Students can make payments to their student accounts, but it is not mandatory.

If a credit card is used for the payment, and a refund is granted at a later date, the refund is made to the credit card.

If the payment is made via a bank wire, then the refund is made to the bank of origin.

It may be best for you to demonstrate the proof of funds from your current bank account, etc."

Paying tuition fees should have been a plus to your application but unfortunately, some visa officers see it as an act of desperation since it has been stated on the visa office instruction for Nigeria that paying tuition fees and other travel plans is at your own risk.

Sorry if you were misunderstood but on my honor I aver strongly that I printed the statement of account myself from my bank and had my dad do same. The bank has agreed to do the needful by projecting a further proof in writing. I hope this helps me in clearing my name though. Why would I wanna risk a ban when doing it right is way easier. I wanna believe there was a mix up.

You will be triumph at last. Is good that the bank writes them and also attach a new up to date statement.
You will laugh at last.
JUST KEEP CALM

I asked for advice from seasoned Gurus, not a further accusation from a judgmental meddlesome interloper.

Bros, no be fight now. I only advised that if you got the statement from an agent, let the house know so that you may be advised in that direction and if you truly got it from the bank, the advise will go in that direction.

Good day house, I have been a silent but ardent follower of developments on this thread, and the knowledge acquired so far has guided me all through my application for visa with very minimum assistance.

Sadly today I got a mail from CIC Accra regarding my student visa that it has been determined that my "Purported GTB Bank Statement" of Account has been determined to be fraudulent and I have just seven days within which to reply or be banned for a minimum of 5years.

N/B I submitted the Statement of Account of my father and mine. Both were sourced from the Bank. Right now am confused and don't know how to reply.

Gurus In the House please help, it's 6 days left already!

Come out clean so that people can give you an appriopriate advice.
THE FACT THERE IS THAT SOMEBODY ARRANGED ONE OR THE TWO BANK STATEMENTS FOR U.
OPEN UP AND YOU GET A PERFECT ADVICE.

Hello everyone. Does anyone know any reliable in records (University of Ibadan Undergraduate), i need to process my transcript and want it to be sent for WES verification. Note: i have to get it done within a short period because Nasuu strike has only been suspended, not called off. Thank you. My email address is ennygal2016@gmail.com, or whatsapp me on 08096867404.

If you have collected your transcript before, it's simple. Just go to the computing centre beside faculty of science and social science, they will give you authority to pay which will be taken to the bursary for payment. Once the payment is made, then you go back to the computing centre to fill the transcript request form. You will pay a separate courier fee for it to be mailed to WES address. Just prepare like N25,000 plus your transport to Ibadan if you are from the south west.

Hmnn that is a great observation, but seriously I don't think the VO cares that much whether college or university. The longer the PGD, two years for example, is better than a few months or one year.

This is just our observation not the VOs' view.
Whether PGD or one year program. What is important is how you are able to convince the VO that you are a genuine student

I am more comfortable with you going for a two year program, not one year fast track. The longer the time for study the more your bonafides as a genuine student is shown. A two year study leave is highly contingent on how much pay and time you have been working for this company. Or leave the study leave entirely out and concentrate on other forms of ties that would compel your return to Nigeria after two years. There is very little evidence to show that study leave works anyways. The same thing for affidavits that people are doing swearing to come back to Nigeria after their studies. Or bonds signed between employee and employers promising to be sponsored and return. VOs are extremely fertile on the tricks people are using. You have to show something more personal and realistic. I had talked to this guy even with a good paying job in the petroleum industry going for a Phd for your years. We talked about a study leave and people's suggestion that he include a study leave of four years from his employers. At the end of the day, he decided personally against it as unrealistic. Guess what? He made the right call, his visa was approved without a study leave as that long period of study leave would have been grossly unrealistic.

Good submission
