Benitez's head is on the line at the moment. His Chairman has told him he'd get the boot if he doesn't win the PREM this season, so if I were him, I'd not die over the C/L and concentrate on the PREM instead.

I'ld say their struggles in UEFA has been a blessing in disguise for em, cause if they crash out at this stage, they would be able to put all their resources into the PREM, which might be dangerous for the other big teams who are participating in UEFA and other tourneys.

But be that as it may, I don't believe Liverpool would not qualify for the next round of the C/L. I've got this feeling that they'd do a repeat of 2005, when they struggled in the first round of the C/L but pulled through and eventually went on to win it.

Let's see how they fare in their MUST WIN game tonight though.
