- 31 Jan: A fiery MedJet plane crash in Philadelphia, 7 dead
- 2 Feb: A United Airlines plane caught fire during takeoff at the Houston airport
- 5 Feb: A Japan Airlines plane clipped a parked Delta plane while it was taxiing at the Seattle airport
- 7 Feb: A plane crashed in Alaska Bering Sea, 10 killed
- 11: Feb: A Private jet crashes into a parked plane as it arrives Scottsdale, Arizona airport, 1 dead
- 13 Feb: A U.S Navy EA-18G Fighter Jet crashes into San Diego Bay

CGPA of 5.00 in Engineering? David Akanmu is the real genius here. How did he do it? As in, he got As in all the courses from 100 to 500 level. Project, IT, Lab, workshop and some other courses where A is a mirage.

Congratulations, if only this excellent and exception grade of 5.00 CGPA will translate to the country's development. Every year we graduate hundreds of brilliant engineers whom to date have invented nothing, discovered nothing, patented nothing and produced nothing! Yet every year engineering councils like the Nigerian Society of Engineers, COREN, etc organise lavish events in posh hotels and confer awards, honours and laurels to its members for adding absolutely NOTHING to Nigeria's development and progress! Our engineers cannot even design or improve on the design of a common Keke NAPEP 1-cylinder, 4-stroke engine. Thank God for Asian ingenuity!

Until we start to think what a 5.00 CGPA can do for Innoson, Nord Motors, Nigeria Machine Tools, our entire defence industry, and how can it translate improving power supply, providing potable water, medical access, curbing insecurity or in the manufacture of heavy duty equipment to build roads, housing, drones, computers, AI, agriculture, etc, the end result is that in a very short time, Engr. David Akanmu and the rest of his graduating class will, like their predecessors, be eyeing better opportunities outside our shores where their brains and skills are better appreciated and rewarded. The only credit to Nigeria will be the same old global mantra - "Nigerians are one of the brightest and brilliant people in the world" and that's it, with Nigeria continuing to depend on the rest of the world for basic necessities. The cycle continues!!

Enugu State has regressed over the years. What is needed is massive mobilization for APGA as the way forward for progress and development in Enugu State and the entire South East.

That an ordinary letter was forwarded to INEC Chairman's office and accepted and endorsed as having been received by possibly an ordinary clerk in the office of INEC Chairman does not mean that the decision on who is the authentic APGA candidate in Anambra State has been taken. Court of Appeal has set aside the judgement recognizing Umeoji as APGA candidate in Anambra. INEC only acted out of courtesy in accepting the letter.

This is the only post that makes sense here.

In 2017, total votes for the entire Anambra State across all the parties was less than 400,000. How can APC delegates alone have a total vote of almost 350,000

Just like Willie completed Peter's projects (Awka flyovers, Agulu Lake Hotel, roads, etc) and started his own (Light up Anambra, Omambala bridge, Anambra Airport, Awka Stadium, International Conference Center, etc) so will Soludo complete all of Willie's projects and start his own.

That's how APGA rolls in Anambra with our 4 C's paradigm which emphasizes the need to continue the projects of the current administration, complete them, commission them and commence a fresh set of programmes and initiatives that will uplift the state and its people. CONTINUITY is the key!!

These rice sale figures na wa o! Something does not add up.

This is a rare case of hydrops fetalis - a form of abnormal hemoglobin and involves genes but can't be corrected. It also happens in humans (you can google it).

It's not spiritual and not a result of human sperm.

The sale was an Obama administration May 2016 proposal, that just got approved by the US State Department recently. It is not a Trump initiated deal. The cost is $10 million each for 12 A-29 Super Tucano aircrafts i.e. $120 million. Besides the 12 light aircraft, the weapons package also includes training, munitions, related equipment and maintenance support totaling $593 million.

These Brazilian aircrafts are manufactured in Florida, USA. But before we start celebrating or criticizing, the sale may face resistance in the US Congress which is still very concerned about selling military gear to Nigeria. Congress has been given 30 days to either approve or block the sale.

So nothing has been concluded yet!

Resuscitation of Omor Rice Mill has started in earnest and our enemies are ver, very unhappy. Gov. Willie Obiano understands the importance of food security, employment generation, industrial investment and economic empowerment and development and has put Omor Rice Mill (abandoned for so many years) in the foreign burner of industrial revolution.

This modern rice edifice is spearheaded by Mr. Oliver Okeke of Josan Omor Rice Mill, producers of the continentally acclaimed JOSAN RICE in Ufuma, Anambra State, and with their Chinese expatriates and engineers, the nation will soon witness a revolutionary world-class rice mill in Anambra State.

Our political distractors do not like this laudable project and and doing everything to pull us down.

Please do not be deceived, Willie is Willingly Working, and will continue to work Willingly.

Ndi Anambra are very happy and will not succumb to sponsored agents who are doing everything to discredit our visionary and working Governor.
