Business / Re: You Can Open your UAE verify Paypal Account as Nigerian Free Without VPN by realdentist(f): 7:00pm On Aug 31, 2018
Gentlevin:
Bro that happens depending on the Paypal country you want to open the biz account with. Its always like that with UAE biz acct for now. So if you want to use your Nigerian biz details, then you will have to open a Paypal biz acct from a country that will allow u sign up via your email only and then you will get a page that will allow u input all your Nigerian biz details, including your Nigerian number.

At least I know that its easier to open such with SA Paypal biz and Mozambique Paypal biz...
thank you. For Mozambique PayPal, what's the web URL? (Like that of uae is PayPal.com/ae).
And can you recommend someone that can generate utility bill?

Plus, like I earlier said, you need to create and upload more designs to increase your chances of making bank on Amazon with this free sure online business model.

Don't depend on 1-10 designs, and expect to make $400/day. No. It doesn't, and will not work that way.

I'm still researching on best methods to rank our T-shirts higher in search results.

I wish you the best brother
But if you read their FAQs you will see that there is a limit to the number of designs you can submit, based on your present tier.
10
25
50
100
500.
Pro

If you successfully sell 10 shirts, then you move from the first to the second tier.

Don't mind me, I like to read FAQs a lot o

Business / Re: What Payment Solution Do You Use For Ecommerce, Dropshipping Business? by realdentist(f): 7:27pm On Mar 09, 2018
marelmedia:
Hi guys, I ventured into ecommerce, dropshipping to be precise and have so far gotten everything but one set and ready. My one challenge now is what payment solution that is accetable to Nigerians whose target market is global.

Tried paypal but I can't receive funds through it.

Tried 2checkout, they insisted my Nigerian address must appear on my website instead of the US address already there. After that they asked registeration docs and invoice of my suppliers not older than 6months. After providing all these they are yet give a feedback.

Tried payu, the following is their response
"I have checked the websites and realised prices on the egadge is quoted in dollars, please be informed that we will only be accepting local cards and as such prices should be quoted in naira".

Tried CCBill, they ask I be listed with North America and the European union.

With all these I will not be surprised if they ask for my blood sample soon grin
Guys I need your help, all of you gurus in the house help a brother out, this site www.egadge.com is too "fine" to allow to waste.

Telim and others abeg.
please did you succeed in getting a payment gateway that accepts nigerians?

As I run a website, I'm personally registered to ACE logistics...www.ace.ng......thier services are top notch and they offer pay on delivery services. Once they get your money from d customer expect a remittance to your acct in 2 to 3 days . The equally send a variance report to help with cash reconciliations. My only grouse is, on thier pick up website, only lagos, Abuja and Portharcout is active, other states are greyed out...and oh I stay in portharcout so I don't know if thatso why....one last info, when you register with them you'll have to pay 17,500 into your wallet. This money is used for your shipments and you get to top up as it reduces
When I was in kaduna, I used courier plus. They are equally good...but in comparison to ACE it's like comparing an old generation bank to a zenith Bank! ( no offence courier plus o). With ACE you get that modern feel to the courier business, e.g ACE has an online pick up/drop off form..that of courier plus is manual.....for cash remittances after a pay on delivery they are equally trustworthy. But NO variance report like ACE, it's mainly manual. One strong advantage over ACE is that they have offices nationwide hence deliver nationwide.
I also discovered Konga express. The logistics arm of konga. Www.kos.com. ng. I've spoken with them and all and they seem good but I haven't used them. To become a merchant on thier platform, you'll need to register with 50k in your wallet, these money is used to service your account and you get to top up when depleted. If you don't want to register, then walk into any of thier offices and drop off but charges are more for a drop in customer. You can calculate thier charges on thier website using the calculator. For example, as a merchant, ph to lag is 1,500 as against drop off of 1,900. They deliver nationwide and v offices nationwide..this is a strong plus.
Finally also just recently discovered God is God logistics...www.giglogistics.ng....this spans from God is good motors...www.gigs. com. This company honestly suprised me as I bumped into them by mistake. Drove past thier beautiful terminus in kaduna and out of curiosity walked in. Highly efficient and I'll recommend them for logistics and for transport. I shipped personal effects, 4 big Ghana must go bags of my shop items from kaduna to ph when I was relocating and in 2days...yes 2 days I got called my items was in thier ph office! For thier travel arm sef, thier website is similar to that of an airline, you can book for a ticket online and this usually comes with a discount o...you even choose your seats online..with a diagram of the seating positions displayed so you see which seat you are choosing! I made enquiries for thier logistics arm and I got to know that as a merchant, you also pay in 50k which is used to service your account. My only grouse however is that they have a strong presence in the south but not much up north...for now, they don't deliver nationwide but I'm told they are expanding.
This info I'm sharing took me 3 years to get as an commerce merchant...I hope the info comes in handy to someone someday...all the best!
thank you for sharing this. does GIG accept payment from clients on your behalf?

Business / Looking For A Logistics Company That Can Deliver Nationwide And Collect Payment by realdentist(f): 10:25pm On Dec 17, 2017

Business / Re: Drop Shipping In Nigeria- Experience, Advice And How To by realdentist(f): 8:38pm On Dec 17, 2017
Silvermoney:

I'm not sure what you mean by Nigerian CC being under ban. People can use their regular Nigerian debit card info to pay for goods and services online in Nigeria, but the problem is that most Nigerians prefer pay on delivery. Only the big guys like Jumia and Konga can make some customers pre-pay online with their cards prior to delivery. For regular folk like us that have our own E-commerce sites, it's difficult to convince anyone here to pay upfront, prior to delivery.

So my point is, in addition to the logistics problem of how to pick up ordered goods from the local suppliers here in Nigeria and deliver to customers here, which payment system would work well for a fully Nigerian focused drop shipping operation? I see a huge huge HUGE market and potential here, if we can crack these systemic challenges. Let's forget the tested and trusted US-focused drop shipping (including Ebay Amazon et al) for a moment, and think 100% local. Any thoughts on this? Is this feasible?
This is certainly a need to be met in online business in Nigeria. i wonder why no logistics company has been able to address this? I'm also searching for answers
Business / Re: Drop Shipping In Nigeria- Experience, Advice And How To by realdentist(f): 8:35pm On Dec 17, 2017
Silvermoney:

The two key issues that I'm worried about are: transport/logistics/fulfilment and payment system. Let's say I want to source products from a Nigeria based manufacturer/supplier... I'm sure most Nigerian manufacturers or suppliers would be unwilling to handle direct fulfilment to customers. So that means I have to find reliable third party logistics companies that can pick up products from the manufacturer/supplier, and deliver to the customer's location, to fulfil each order...and collect payment from the customer (90% of Nigerian consumers prefer and insist on the pay on delivery option.). I'm looking at this and wondering whether there is an efficient, seamless and reliable way to handle this process.

Who else understands my point? I need us to get around this issue.
I understand you and i'm also looking for answers. Please share if you find them

This is WHAT I'm talking about. Local drop shipping. Please share more info about this right here.

I'm particularly interested in:

How to get a reliable third party logistics company to handle the order fulfillments (pick up items from local suppliers/manufacturers and delivery directly to customers nationwide and collect payment for customers that prefer pay on delivery)

How to address the payment problem... Payment gateway, pay on delivery, et cetera.

How to make the whole process as automated and scalable as possible (real drop shipping).

Other intricate details as well.

Omg! So me. My baby started sucking when she was ill and I let her cos it comforted her but now it's something else. Put her on the ground to sit and she bends all the way down to put her thumb in her mouth. On the walker nko, the same thing. I havr to repeatedly wake up to feed her cos with her thumb in her mouth, she is ready to sleep for 10hours straight. I bought a special kind of baby glove and wear it for her but the crying for that follows is not for the faint hearted. My mom says I should leave her but I dont want to. My elder sister stopped sucking her hand in SSS1 when her mates started laughing at her, same with my younger sister and brother. I'm the only one who did not suck my thumb (but I suck mouth sha). What to do? How do i stop her? Even removing the thumb from her mouth, the kind of scream you will hear ehnn, you will not believe it's from a baby.

please don't let her scream stop you. you're doing what's best for her. thumb sucking has a lot of negative effects, among which are changes in shape of palate and poor dental alignment of permanent teeth. plus all the hygiene implications. the longer you leave her to suck, the more difficult to stop it. my daughter stopped sucking in js1. they were telling me to leave her when she first started. I later regretted listening to that advice
