Yes, you are right, but dropping those figures is a beautiful thing because it shows the man knows his onions and came prepared to work.

Let me quickly add that the man has consciously travelled to many countries to study their administrative and legal models and to understand how and why they work.

He has also attended many courses abroad just to become a better administrator, served on the boards of companies and managed many businesses.

you failed to understand what Peter obi is trying to decipher. It's immaterial for you to seek for a loan to an unproductive items. Take for example ,civil servant salary earner taking up loan to buy a car worth 30million while his annual income 1.5million. in such situations the civil servant is bound to incure huge financial expenses in repaying his debts. Than a civil servant whose loan is tied on productive items. Example, the civil servant use his own borrowing to our purchase buses for transport services. Peter obi is on point. If all the loans buhari has been taking in productive sectors Nigeria won't be in quagmire.

I have been lazy to put up this topic. I'm surprised Seun and my regular Yorubas on this platform hasn't come out to refute this assumption.
Yorubas are Omoluabis; we are our brother's keeper.
Virtually every family in Yoruba land has a mixture of Christians, Muslims and the traditionalist.
When a Muslim is going to mosque, the christians say pray for me and vice versa.
We openly argue on our religious differences and has never led to killings. We even joke about it sometimes.
It baffles me when people come here and say Yoruba Muslims are the major supporters of this administration.
I know strong Christians who are core Buharist and I know strong Muslims who disgust Buhari in Yoruba land. That's how we roll here.

We respect our differences.

Religious tolerance in the south west should be studied by other parts of Nigeria and the world at large.

I think what Peter Obi needs to explain to Nigerians is how he plans to replace the sharing formula with production formula because the states rely heavily on the resources from the center to run. The report that came out yesterday says only Lagos and Ogun States can run without depending on federal handouts.

Buckeyemedia1 is also right about the presidency not having power over the revenue-sharing formula because it's backed by an act of parliament. No president can easily reverse this feeding bottle system without the help of the NASS.

The production formular he talks about is a castle in the air. It is not a short term thing. It will take time to build production capacities, before earning therefrom.
