Those rushing or holding UACN for unbundling..
NOTE: last div was 64k ; so fve N6.40k UPDC current price 90k UPDC REIT last quarter unaudited result puts div at 36k ; so fve N3.60k (fve based on 10% div payout)
Therefore UACN fve currently at 6.40 + 0.90 + 3.60 = N10.90k (based on pro-rata unbundling of 1 UACN for 1 UPDC for 1 UPDC REIT)
Edit.. Therefore UACN fve currently at 6.40 + 0.90 + 0.30 = N7.60k (based on pro-rata unbundling of 1 UACN for 12 UPDC for 1 UPDC REIT)
Dd adviced.. Am a stock novice O!
Edited.. With reference to the previously updated info on details of unbundling, which stated that 1 UPDC REIT will be given for 12 UPDC units. |

aremso: no dividend after mark down and the qualification date would be announced for dividend payment so after marking down for dividend payment nothing of such again but those bought before the qualification date and did not sell bfore mark down will qualify for dividend payment so why would you want to buy after mark down and miss dividends? I s it purely for jijo? |

I was at the bank yesterday to inquire why, they said that only their 365 bid was successful. I asked for secondary market, but it was already past 3 by then. So, gtb still does secondary market as they made me believe. we shall find away... MBA is not an option. emmanuelewumi: I use 4 stock broking houses.
1. FSDH Securities
2. Investment One Stockbrokers
3. United Capital Securities
4. Union Capital Market.
With a minimum of N50,000 you can open an account with Investment One, United Capital and Union Capital Market. Except FSDH Securities which requires a minimum of N5 million.
Dangote cement is currently selling at N140, paid a dividend of N16 last year. If the company pays the same dividend of N16 by April 2020 this will give you a dividend yield of about 11%
We have an infrastructural deficits in the country, government is currently using cements for road constructions, bridges, houses. Some of the management staff of Dangote cement have increased their shareholdings between last year and now. This shows that they are confident about the growth of the business.
MTN at N105 and below is also okay, you are sure of a minimum dividend of N11. They have also given license to operate a form of banking business for unbanked Nigerians the value in your words is most appropriated in retrospect. But that was a mistake. Time to read and follow your words on time from now on. Thank you |

Chibuking81: Print out the copy of e-dividend, fill the form take it to any branch of the bank that you filled to stamp it, scan the filled form or snap it with sharp phone camera, send it through your email to First Registrars, or any other registrar you still wish to activate e-dividend, you will get email acknowledgment without waste of time. You can also inquire with time whether they have activated it or not through email conversation.
With new rule of overriding the bank confirmation of signature, I think bank stamp will no longer be necessary, meaning you can still print the form, fill, scan and send it as an attach file to any registrar in charge using their email.
NB remember, you can fill any bank of your choice, that you want to use in receiving your e-dividend, like you can use UBA, Zenith, e.t.c to receive that of first registrar, it must not be first bank. thank you very much for the information! I hope soon NSE will remove this requirement completely! I do not need to apply to every registrar, before I can receive dividends to bank naa.. CSS account should hold all my bank details so once I buy a stock, the registrar gets the bank details to pay dividend into at once. Naija this .. Always slow to modernization This Is one of the main reasons I left this NSE! Last year Veritas didn't pay me for Jim! I didn't know I had to do their own registration separately! Dangcem, no pay me, I went and did EDC Registrars thinking it covers all dang companies.. Lol.. Now I will do first registrar and stick to those stocks under them. |

TotoNaRubber: Could you advise how someone could get reliable drivers, it is very difficult to get trusted drivers to take charge of these vehicles, I have these buses in stock and want to put them on the road but how to go about it seems a challenge, i buy them directly so the costs is good, I heard good drivers account for up to N50k per week.
I have 11 pieces currently and another 14 very shortly. do what Dangote did: Employ graduates only. So go through a standard employment process just like company employing company drivers. That process removes touts, and gives you people you can hold their degrees and give rules and they will follow. |

PLS DOES THIS MAKE SENSE
Let's say my salary is 280K, GTBank says I can be loaned slightly higher than times 3 of my salary,
280 X 3 = 840
Let's say slightly higher than that is 1million
Interest will pay back 1.3% per month which is 13,000 per month.
If I pay back in 6 months, that's 13,000 X 6 = 78,000.
The reason is because I want to lock down my salary so that I don't spend it.
SO I WANT TO INVEST THE ONE MILLION INTO TREASURY BILL SO AS TO SAVE IT.
Please does it make sense?
Sorry if not clear enough. Sir, you want to borrow at 16% per annum (1.3% x 12) And "invest" it at 5% ? You will lose 110,000N at the end of the year if you do that. |

collinsobinna: Funny enough this has come up before here and someone said something to distract everyone from investing there and no one bothered to follow up. Think that guy was trying to protect his own interests .....cos definitely there will be a serious fund movement if it becomes widespread knowledge and the rates will still tank like in Nigeria.
