This girl is a very beautiful lady which i know would have lots of suitors on her head. I never even intended dating her until she converted our friendship to relationship.

When we started, i noticed her incessant calls and had to complain about them which got reduced with time. In most cases, i would bring up issues pertaining to her having an affair with some of those people which she would discard and even get angry enough as to quarrel with me.
So, because of the texts and calls she was getting i became suspicious and one evening when i read a text from a guy addressing her as "baby and luv" i finally vented my anger, she strolled out that evening while i waited at home, later on, i took her phone, old phone which she barely uses, i turned it on and went through her Whatsapp messages, it was then that i discovered she has had an affair with a boss she was working for and even got messed up without her salary being paid for that month.

Not just that, other guys too have had their pounds of flesh. I was messed up that evening because this lady would insist we have sex without condom. So messed up that when she came, for the first time in my life, i layed my hands on a woman and slapped her so bad, I even beat her till she was unconcious and when she finally gained conciousness, she started begging and explaining, she even pretended like she wants to drink hypo bleech due to heart break.

To cut the long story short, i got other texts too from guys in her phone, one in particular sent her "are we still seeing today ?" Which she told me she never made any arrangement with the guy.
Well, i have invested much on this girl and i don't want to let her go like that, she had turned me to a brutal guy. I don't know what to do, i don't want to break up with her because she would just shift to another guy the next day, so I need advise on the best medicine for this kind of lady.
if you accept her back now and in 2weeks or months she says she is pregnant and won't remove it,

WOULD YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE THE TRUE OWNER?

if your answer is no or not really or not sure or anything other than yes, my guy
LEAVE THAT GIRL NOW!

Forget all her crying, it's all crocodile tears.

TRUST IS GONE, leave that relationship or you will doubt every child you two have in the future.

Once a cheat, always a cheater!

Telling you from experience bro.. I forgave her 3 times and she still ended up with another man's child!

Bye-bye

MY place if you don't have at least 350k you can't or won't be able to traditionally marry your wife

It's ridiculous to be given a least to a young man just starting life.

Our elders are not helping matters.
my female friend says her boyfriend can't marry her because they gave him a list of 200k

Am not saying it's too much, but a guy of 29 yrs wanting to marry his girlfriend of 25yrs,,
Who (the guy) just left NYSC 3yrs ago,
has he reached to save up that sum to spend at once?

Now add that, he will also do traditional party, plus white wedding party, plus new apartment.

Well, all that expenses just to have another mouth to feed ain't worth it man!

The guy relocate go north leave my friend... Lolzzzz

Any thing beyond 50k is not worth it or reasonable. (even that self plenty)

Guys just prefer to pay per do or maintain girlfriend till goal occur!

Dividends become status barred after 12 years, meaning the shareholders can have access to the money again. The money goes back to the company.

Government wants to put an end to this, rather they want to manage the fund until shareholders or their families will come for the fund.

SEC is really trying to make sure unclaimed dividends reduce to the barest minimum. They have a portal where you can type your name or your parents names and it will give the list the list of companies where you or your parents have outstanding dividends.

A family was able to retrieve over N10 million from the accumulated dividends of the their father who died 15 years ago.

Shareholders should open a stock broking accounts and allow their stockbrokers and other professionals to assist them with their outstanding dividends.

The major problem with unclaimed dividends is unclaimed shares, up to 70% of the outstanding unclaimed dividends are unclaimed shares. People who used fake names to buy shares, some of them are dead and their families do not know about the Investments.

Before the advent of BVN frausters who have a syndicate with members from the banks, post offices, passport office, licensing office and the registrars would have claimed the fund through identify theft
SEC should make e-dividend automatic
By sending customers bank details along with names to the registrars

Why is that so hard?

Why can I not open a stock broking account, buy shares and start getting dividend to the bank account I registered with my broker?
No need for extra steps before I access dividend.
Most people don't even know about the extra steps self, Why outstanding dividends no go climb?

Most of the market woman banks sold shares to inside markets in owerri in 2008 don't know how to get those shares now.

Dangote flour Mills delisted from the exchange while owing me 900 units,
How do I get that back?

That happened because EDC registrars kept asking me to sign papers and send via FedEx at N3000 a pop to Lagos, and I got tired when I realised I had spent the entire worth of the shares on posting papers!

SEC is the problem, they need to rearrange the dividend process as I said above.

Bendent19:
Hello everyone.
So theres a policy issued about a week ago by CBN directing banks to close naira accounts for IMTOs or International Money Transfer operators. I'm sure i didn't explain it right and i would have copied or linked an article but i use button device. The grammer and terms they use is quite confusing and i ended up not undestanding what they said. I was hoping someone coukid explain in laymans terms what the policy is talking about.
Also, as a nigerian in nigeria, can i open a dollar account and deposit naira into it at the banks own exchange rate? I intend to use the card issued on the dollar account to buy stuff from foreign websites? I know our normal visa/master cards will too but i specifically need to buy with the dollar account. Also does this new CBN policy affect the usage of dollas or euro accounts? pardon my ignorance i don't quite understand these things. Please help.

All the retirement benefits of your parents should be put in a company he works for
And clearly knows that it's a Ponzi company!

Just because he wants salary for himself!!!

If one kills such brother after the Ponzi fails, hope no one would put that person in jail or under any condemnation, right?

you can not easily purchase first bank shares through your bank account Sir.

You must open a stock broking account and fund it in other to buy shares.

Try and open with a broker that allows complete control over the Internet.

Example is investment-one.com

Now that's not a good reason to buy first bank shares
Would you like to own an inefficient company as described above by pa emmanuelewumi?

Check Stocks with good dividend payout like zenith, Ucap, updc reit, uba or afriprud
there are many others

Buy them when prices are lower or now at 10 % profit potential from dividends

First Bank has poor dividend payout %, that's why I said leave it.

You can make a cool 10% by March if you buy zenith at N24.50 now.
(not that I am saying you should O, because that stock will definitely fall before or by march)

So tell us why first bank?

All you need to succeed in the stock market are there. If you are willing to give yourself the time to understand every sentence and do a little research.

The stock market is better than Treasury bills if you learn this pa Emmanuelewumi 's technique

emmanuelewumi:

I invest in industries I understand, I also try to monitor the performance of the companies I have invested in, it good to invest in businesses or industries that are growing.

I am more of a cash flow investor, capital appreciation is secondary.

I will use Zenith bank as an example, Zenith is currently N18.00 per, the earning per share of Zenith bank in 2018 was N5.20k. Out of the N5.20k, N2.80k was paid out as dividends. We are left with N2.40k, out of which some will be transferred to the reserve, kept with CBN and also used to expand the business.

If a stock of N18.00 gives a dividend of N2.80k, this will give you a dividend yield of about 14%.

Another interesting fact is that, it is not all the earning that was paid out as dividend. The remaining fund will be ploughed back into the business and will create more wealth to the investors.

In 2006 Zenith had less than 100 branches, but because part of the profits made was ploughed back into the business, they now have about 300 branches.

Investors who earned 70k dividends per share in 2006 now earned N2.80k in 2018, due to the expansion and growth of the business. Dividend quadrupled between 2006 and 2018. This beat inflation and devaluation of our currency.

The most important thing that will determine success is the experience, knowledge and integrity of the business managers and also buying at a good price.

If you over pay for an investment or an asset, it will affect your returns on investment

"DECODE " like the one below that changed my life

emmanuelewumi:

I use 4 stock broking houses.

1. FSDH Securities

2. Investment One Stockbrokers

3. United Capital Securities

4. Union Capital Market.

With a minimum of N50,000 you can open an account with Investment One, United Capital and Union Capital Market. Except FSDH Securities which requires a minimum of N5 million.

Dangote cement is currently selling at N140, paid a dividend of N16 last year. If the company pays the same dividend of N16 by April 2020 this will give you a dividend yield of about 11%

We have an infrastructural deficits in the country, government is currently using cements for road constructions, bridges, houses.
Some of the management staff of Dangote cement have increased their shareholdings between last year and now. This shows that they are confident about the growth of the business.

MTN at N105 and below is also okay, you are sure of a minimum dividend of N11. They have also given license to operate a form of banking business for unbanked Nigerians

some reasons MBA may last long...

1. Its for rich people who can afford to loose N360k

2. Rich people do not do panick withdrawals..

3. Panick withdrawal is checked by the 6 months waiting period before you can withdraw your capital.

4. Greedy people are many! Some will even take loans to join!!

all in all... It is still "very likely" a ponzi scheme because they cannot show us what they are doing with the money to generate 15% monthly for everyone like clockwork with guaranty
has any of these parameters changed?

Boss, your stock price will never stay constant at N5 or be growing at 15% or 20% annually and you will not be making N1 dividend per share annually for 43 years. If you really know how the stock market works, you won’t make these basic assumptions.

You can use that table to teach beginners the power of compounding but not for anyone to apply it to investing in the NSE. Stock investing is not as simple as that.

Is it not the same way some people here were forecasting how T Bill rates will continue to stay high and how they could become billionaires by just investing in Treasury bills and compounding their small change money to one billion Naira after many years? grin

Keep it simple man.

Warren Buffet said so.

You buy a business that is worth N10 a share at N5 and you are worrying about fluctuations in the future?

The stock can loose 50% of its value and you will still be alright.

I am still regretting selling that stock. But NEXT!
Investment / Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by RealityShot: 1:08am On Nov 25, 2020
Lazyyouth4u:

Boss, how many people ever hold an investment for over 40 years? What investment consistently yields 20% annually and then loses 50% once in over a decade? The stock market (and genuine investments) don’t work that way.
that last projection shows what happens if
You loose half of your capital every 12years while trying to get 20% yield yearly

So it teaches an investor to avoid taking huge risks just to get highest profit margins every year.

You can get 15%-10% easily every year, but not 20%

I bought uba at 5.05 this year, given that it paid N1 dividend last year,
the expected dividend profit was 20% if uba pays same N 1 this year

And if the company continues to pay same for the next 43years and I constantly reinvest all dividends yearly
Do you see how I can continue to earn 20% now?

People tend to act too frequently in stocks just because they are so liquid - Warren Buffet
I haven't sold a stock of Berkshire in 50 years - Warren Buffet
